Positives- Cafe had snacks & coffee when we desperately needed them. It’s a small space next to the visitors center. Quick grab and go!Hummus Wrap- tasty but the spinach needed to be cut up more and the hummus spread out so you can get some in every bite. If you don’t like olives like me ask for them to be removed. I forgot to ask and had a surprise bite and fought the kid urge to spit out my bite. Thankfully I had a delicious mocha latte on hand to wash my bite down.Yogurt with granola- so nice my daughter bought it twice!Fruit mix- a large variety of fruit that was fresh and delicious.Considerations- the prices were high, but to be expected directly outside of the National park. Not a huge variety but some unique options and cute gift options too. No seating available, but there was space outside on a few benches.

Perfect place to grab a snack before hiking! We got an Italian wrap that was delicious and some fun cold drinks as well as a dessert. Everything was amazing!!!

Always quick to grab a delicious lunch here or supplies for a hike in the park. They’ll whip up any sandwich in minutes, and stock delicious snacks, treats and coffee. Their locals discount is always appreciated :) Stop in for the smores bar or turkey sandwich! Best speedy lunch on the high desert for sure.

This place has a ton of healthy food and drinks options. And what pleased me even more was that there were quite a few great vegan + gluten free options that tasted excellent! I had the veggie coconut curry + basmati rice, chia pudding and hot chai latte (with oat milk). And everything was delicious. I wish they had branches.

It’s a convenient store right next to the joshua tree visitor center. They have sandwiches, breakfast burritos, boiled eggs, and some other fresh foods and snacks. There are also clothes and souvenirs, postcards. The workers are friendly and polite. My friend tried their joshua tree coffee today and they said it was good!

Really convenient place to grab some snacks. Was delighted to find vegan snacks and food here. The cashew based herbed chevre was freakin’ delicious and the vegan ice cream drumstick was a nice treat.

Great selection of sandwiches, salad, hot food, chips & drinks! We called 15 minutes prior to closing to make sure there’s still a selection & they’re still open. Rosa & her crew are awesome! The sandwich I wanted was already out but Rosa offered to make me one & the lemonade is freshly squeezed. I’m excited to go here again on our weekend getaways from LA.

THIS PLACE IS TASTY!If youre looking for some deliciously curated food to go while youre in the Joshua Tree area, this is your place to go! From breakfast burritos and sandwiches, to snacks, salads, sweets and drinks, this is the perfect place to grab a bite to eat before you head into the park, or just for food to enjoy at your air bnb (thats what we did). We went there on 3 separate occasions during our weekend trip and I will for sure be stopping there every time I visit the desert. 100% YUM.

Seriously good sandwiches and coffee. My kids also loved the Jr Ranger hot chocolates. My Mexican mocha did not disappoint - had a real kick of cayenne. Will be back for sure to try the breakfast burrito and other offerings.

Great place to grab delicious and healthy food for your day in the park! I had a Thai peanut noodle salad, and a coconut curry over rice. They also have their own chai latte, which was good but weird. (Be aware that the chai syrup has dairy in it somehow? There was also a tea bag in the cup, which was odd. It was pretty sweet, but a good level of spiciness.) Unfortunately they wouldnt put it in my travel mug. Fast check out.

Read all the good reviews and decided to stop in for a sandwich to pack along on our hike in Joshua Tree. it did not disappoint! tons of vegetarian options and the sandwich we split (blanking on the name- I think it had the word Tortoise in it?) was AMAZING. highly recommend for a delicious lunch on the go 💜

This was a repeat stop for us while visiting Joshua Tree. Food was well-priced, tasty & hot. Service was always extremely quick & friendly! Very convenient location just outside the Joshua Tree entrance to the park. The double rainbow delight bars are a must try!

Really delicious sandwiches! Everything was fresh and high-quality and I especially appreciated the vegetarian and vegan options. An excellent choice if all seated restaurants in the area are too busy to get a table or if youre getting something for the road.

This place was excellent! They offered grab and go items to eat and drink that were delicious. My kids were sad when their breakfast burritos were gone. Good coffee and an excellent kombucha selection. People are friendly here. They played some great music and somehow, another patron and I started singing together while we waited. Fun, awkward and silly all at the same time. If you’re looking for a place that allows strangers to randomly break into song and dance while serving deliciousness, this is it.Thanks for a great experience!

Sweet Little Spot. With that, I have mixed emotions about my experience. Space itself is very sweet and the (paid) staff were friendly and helpful. Food was marginal and under seasoned. Beverage offerings were spot on and there are all manner of little goodies to pick up before heading into the park. Sweet t shirts!Normally, I would be all over a venue like this. In this case, I cant quite decide where I fall. I definitely would go back, but it might require a little a little nudging. Not sure the Principals fully understand the nature of guest making and there is definitely a little So Cal, desert attitude. That, combined with the lack of seasoning in the breakfast burritos has me in a bind. Im not trying to be irreverent, but there is another option just down the road.Also, they need a Date Shake in Joshua, cant believe there isnt one to be had. Not their problem, but still.....

This place is the antithesis of what you would expect from the deli next door. Their food is incredible.My son and I only tried a couple things - the Italian sandwich (it had another name) and the fruit bowl - but based on how good those were, combined with how good *everything* looked, I would wager that these guys knock it out of the park (no pun intended) on pretty much everything they serve.Lots of healthy-ish options, a wide menu of fresh coffee (multiple different kinds of cold brew), desserts, picnic stuff...your trip into JTNP will be elevated by a stop here first.

This location has fantastic sandwiches! My family of 4 each grabbed one before we went in the park and everybody loved them. You should know this is your last chance to get food if you didnt plan ahead and bring it with you.

We ate here twice in 3 days- that’s how tasty and fresh the food is. The tuna Niçoise salad is everything and the accompanying dressing pops. Roadrunner is a solid choice even if you aren’t heading to Joshua Tree.

While I have eaten here more times than I can count, and give it the deserved 5 stars for their coffee drinks, vegan chocolate chip cookies, spinach dip, and more; this review pertains to their amazing catering.I was in deserpate need for someone to cater an event with 70-80 people coming to JTNP for a field trip from a conference. The original catering option had fallen through, and I needed 2 meals that could be taken around the park with us for the day. Meredith and the team went above and beyond to help me tailor the menu and design the meals to just exactly what I was looking for, and did it with little advanced notice (granted I am not suggesting short notice is a good idea for their sanity).The diversity in options and the thoughtful and simple recipies were a big hit. Some people even commented it was the best food they had over the course of their time at the conference. We even were able to set out a table of family style options under the stars and have a starlight picnic of sorts. I dont know what I would have done without Roadrunners catering. I cannot recommend them enough!

This place is AMAZING! The staff is genuine and really take care of their locals which I value a lot. Their drinks hit the spot (especially the “Dirty Chai Nitro Cold Brew”) along with their breakfast sandwiches which are a hefty serving helping to fuel you for your Joshua Tree adventures! I love this place! The food is delicious and there are lots of options to choose from. I stocked up for a whole day’s adventure: breakfast burrito and coffee to start the day, chia pudding (*amazing*) for a cool snack, mediterranean wrap and hard boiled eggs for lunch, chips, organic elixir shooter (more snacks), and the roast beef sandwich for dinner… then I came back for breakfast again the next day.Already looking forward to my next visit to Joshua Tree and more great eats from the wonderful team at Roadrunner.

My children and I stopped by the Roadrunner Grab and Go and we were greeted with a large selection of food and a friendly helpful staff. We found something for everyone in our family (including my picky toddler). The hummus platter was especially yummy. Totally recommend! We’ll be back again and again for sure!For those that have not been, this is a get in-get out quick place with exceptionally high quality fresh-made food choices (gluten and vegan options too). A great place to grab food and head off into the JT Nat’l Park for a picnic or adventure.

The perfect grab and go shop! Locally sourced, incredibly fresh. I was truly impressed by this place. Great variety of local beverages, I had the Whalebird kombucha, and better than Starbucks coffee, we had the maple iced latte! 🍁 The roast beef sandwich 🥪 was generous in proportion and the homemade chimichurri sauce was incredible. 🎉 A must stop shop! 10/10

Fresh and delicious hot and cold dishes. The coffee was also delicious. Unfortunately there arent that many benches outside to sit and eat. The visitor center is right next door.
