2023-09-10 02:00:50Stopped by for dinner at Roast & Rice. Maria, our server was very nice, professional, and attentive. We ordered the OH My God Sushi Roll, orange chicken, Mongolian beef, and steamed rice. The food was hot and tasty. The ambiance was peaceful and serene. Maria was a bright star in this establishment, and we appreciated her insight and recommendations.

2023-10-15 19:24:26This was my first visit and I ordered the drunken noodles with chicken. It was good and there was enough for a second meal.I dont know if the owners read these reviews but I do have a suggestion: get rid of the plastic table cloths. There is no reason for them. It cheapens the atmosphere. Let people enjoy their meals on the nice tables already present. If Im going to pay $16 for a noodle dish, I dont want to feel like Im sitting at a picnic table.

2023-11-07 03:54:22Ordered the Green Avocado Curry with chicken and they did not disappoint!! Some restaurants will skim on the chicken, but from here, my meal was loaded with meat and vegetables… there was enough for a 2nd meal. Also the curry was perfectly spiced. I would highly recommend!

2023-06-14 01:47:13I had high expectations maybe, my first time here. Service is good and asked server to recommend. She recommended spicy tuna rice cake for appetizer. This was good, a tad salty but overall good. Then she recommended crispy chicken over rice. This was like zero stars. The chicken tasted stale, like leftover next day chicken. Very bland. I couldn’t eat it. Loved the boba Thai tea. Not sure if I’ll come back.

2022-11-26 01:28:18Did a quick search for a restaurant in the area and this came up so I decided to try it out. Solid Asian fusion restaurant.I started with a Thai tea latte iced with boba and that was pleasantly delicious. The spam musubi was on point but I should of got “easy rice” and was hoping it was at least two pieces. The calamari was also delicious and the sauce was great. The crispy hainam chicken is one of the best I’ve had. The garlic rice wasn’t too garlicky but it complimented the tender/juicy/crispy chicken pieces. The miso soup was also good and I added the leftover rice to it for a little finishing dish.I’d definitely come back again and try some of their other food offerings.

2023-03-04 05:21:04It is a great local place to come and enjoy sushi, Thai, Chinese, and American favorites. The atmosphere is wonderful and the service is great. Indoor and outdoor seating. Had the Curry Puff pastry, Crunchy Roll, Mission Soup and the house salad. All very good. Would recommend the fried bananas with coconut ice cream for dessert.

2022-07-11 01:00:45Really cool find in Thousand Oaks. I liked the idea of trying some Asian fusion dishes. I tried the Thai Mein which had some really good flavors. My wife tried the sushi which seemed on par to other good sushi restaurants. Our servers were really kind and attentive. There is a nice outside patio with heat Ed and really cool indoor seating if you prefer that. I could definitely see myself coming back to this restaurant. If you are in the area give it a try!

2023-11-14 00:00:16One of my favorite places to eat Asian and Asian inspired food. The menu has a bit of everything for almost everyone, sushi, noodles, classic Chinese dishes, and appetizers.Prices are on the high side for Asian food but I always find the food to of great quality, with great service. Im sure that its being located next to a high end seafood restaurant and across the street from the Four Seasons, so its not as high as it could be.

2022-07-27 03:31:38This restaurant is amazing!! They have an incredible variety of foods and every single thing we ordered was phenomenal! The service was also wonderful! Between us we had shrimp fried rice, wonton soup, cucumber salad, miso soup and even sushi. All dishes were very tasty & authentic. The sushi was delicious - a good combo of flavors and great quality fish! In my opinion the sushi was on par with the Landing on the Lake.On top of this, they were knowledgeable and very careful in regard to allergens! I have Celiac, so I have terrible reactions if I accidentally eat wheat/gluten. They went above and beyond and actually made me a gluten free ponzu sauce to go with the roll I ordered! They even told me they can make me fried rice gluten free! Also, my step mom has a serious shellfish allergy and they made sure to be very careful in regard to this as well.Try this restaurant if you havent. You will definitely find something you like! We will certainly be back!P.S. The food display was also wonderful, so please forgive the photo... I got overly excited and ate a few pieces of the roll before I remembered to take a pic. :-)
