Tried this place for the first time after a few friends recommended it. I liked it everything I ordered was good. I especially loved the fried rice. I just wished they had kimchi or tofu jjigae so I can have it with my pork bulgogi plate.

It a very small little restraunt whenever it busy it gets really crowded and hardly any space and very narrow to dine in but the food was worth it! You can taste the heat from the food whenever you order something stir fried, i always go for the ja jang myun and recently just tried jjamppong and it also one of my favorite now too!!

I had the Jjamppong and the Kimchi! Both were phenomenal!The Jjamppong was one of the best Korean type soups I’ve had; there was plenty of mussels, and the broth had an excellent flavor/mild spice to it.I thought the kimchi was solidly above average; it’s better kimchi than you will find most places!I’ll make sure to be back next time I’m in Fresno! I was impressed!

One of THE best Asian restaurants of Fresno I will gladly say. The staff is very welcoming and friendly.The service is exceptional. Ive been going for years and the quality and service is still just as good. Its nice to know theres a great Korean restaurant in town.

The place is a hole in the wall, no fancy frills but the food is authentic. Ramen is savory, the chicken is tender and juicy and the chow mein has the best flavor. Everything we ordered tasted so good that my hubby wanted to go back the next day

First time at Rock & Noodles, I ordered an Orange Chicken plate. It included a small salad with a sweet dressing, that tasted like pineapple, and veggie fried rice. The Orange Chicken was very tasty. It was chunks of lightly battered tender, juicy white meat coated with orange glaze. The fried rice was the best Ive had in quite some time. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I dont know what happened to the quality of this restaurant, but their beef bulgogi used to be tender and melt in your mouth. But, recently, their bulgogi has been very tough and chewy and not enjoyable at all. This suggest their beef have been in the freezer for too long.

Great Food! We stopped to pick up a quick late lunch here as it seems like every other ramen shop closes at 3. We tried the Gyoza Ramen and the Bulgogi combination. Soup was very flavorful and the soup and solids were separated as it was a to go order. Bulgogi had great flavor nice balance of sweet and spicy.

Took the family out for dinner, we ordered 2 Ramen bowls, 2 chicken teriyaki bowls, chicken teriyaki plate with fried rice and beef jajangmyun. The food was fresh hot and delicious. Service was quick and didnt take long for our food although it was very busy. I would definitely recommend Rock & noodles you can view their menu online and order food for pick up if you prefer not to dine in.

Amazing food! I rarely leave reviews so you know this place is special. It is definitely not a place with fancy window dressings and over the top decor. It is a hole in the wall that most people would not ook twice at. However, the food is unbelievably Amazing and I always stop here when I visit from out of town. Only one sample size experience, but I ordered at 12:40. As I waited it sounded like it was quiet in the kitchen, but who am I to judge. 15 minutes later I see a gentleman bring in three large containers of ingredients and the kitchen starts sounding busy. I would had appreciated the honesty about the wait time because I had to leave back to work. I asked if it was almost ready, if not I would have to cancel my order and get back to work. They agreed to cancel. At least they didnt charge me for the salad. Which tasted quite good to be honest, and I rarely like salad.

Both dine in and to go services have been above and beyond. Ive been here a couple times and the consistency of food quality has always been great. Dine in experience was amazing the waitress was super attentive from beginning to end. Fried rice is really good and there Beef Bulgogi is delicious.

Update: went back again and everything was delicious, the customer service was great. Definitely a family favorite!Their food was so good but the last time we went, about 2 weeks ago, the food tasted a little bland. Idk if its a one time thing or they got a new cook? Their prices are okay but worth it when the food is good. I always say thank you and I never get a your welcome but idk if its a culture thing or they just dont say it? I love this place. Theyre good every single time. I love the fire chicken appetizer and veggie yaki udon noodles. Its tucked into a little corner and you definitely have to go looking for it, but its authentic and absolutely worth the adventure.

Giving them a 5 because their food is always great.For service, they get a 0 today.I don’t know what is wrong today, but their service was really bad. Got our menu, no water and waited over 30 mins but didn’t get no service. Other customers that came after us got a menu and water right away. Lady walked by us so many times and didn’t even say anything but just looked at us. She was so concentrated on serving one group of customers and forgot all about us. Over 30-45 mins of waiting to get our order taken, we had to walk out. Been here plenty of time way before the pandemic but not during the pandemic. Decided to go today since they started dine in recently and service was just horrible.

We stopped in here for a quick lunch while waiting for the car to be washed. What a great surprise! Im definitely not an expert on Korean food, but everything we had was great. That included the beef short ribs, and some really yummy seafood Ramen noodles. Its a small place, not a big staff, and nothing fancy, but if youre just looking for delicious food and to try something new, this might be the spot.

Only been here once but am planning to come regularly after a great experience. I order the fire chicken bowl and it was awesome. My brother got this black bean noodle thing and he said it was good as well. We order a plate of beef bolbogi too and was great but we couldnt finish it due to us getting full lol. So we ask for a takeaway plate and our server came out and packed for us which was nice. Interior is also really nice too.

I have come to this restaurant many times. I usually order Jampong and love the portion and quality of the dish. The pricing of the menu can be pricey but the taste and quality is good. This place is filled with different ethnicity that love and enjoy the food. It also provides wifi and has been renovated since my last visit. This place is also To-Go friendly. The waitresses are always helpful and packs your leftovers for you. The only thing kinda difficult is their accent and how fast they talk but that is not a big deal at all.

The food was great and as close to authentic as Ive had at a Korean restaurant in the States. They dont have a lot of room in the restaurant and you feel a little crammed in but the food makes it worth it in the long run. I have never one star anyone and any restaurant. I really wish I had the same experience as everyone else. Sadly this place was a major disappointment. The customer service was OK.not the best not the worst but our waitress would disappear. Not ask for any refills or anything. Would try to get her attention but would fail. We had there ramen soup. It was the blandest thing ever. We told our waiter about it,she took our soups told the chef and he said, it had all the spices already. Thats how it came. So we decided to leave and get our soup to take home and spice it up. Only to know she had already throw them away. She didnt even offer a refund. Therefore a well deserved one star!

Their food is delicious. I usually order Jampong with the beef bulgogi plate. However, their service is horrible. It is family own and they do not hire other people to help out. I was a usual customer until they remodeled their interior and up their price. The last time I was there, they do not allow you to get up and go pay, so you have to wait as long as they make you wait to pay for the food. For the price of food and the bad service, I do not think its worth it.

Management: I love these noodles. Service is slow, but it is worth the wait. The only thing I wish you would fix is the smell. The last 2 times I went a slight smell of the restrooms carried over into the restaurant. I drive about 30 miles to get there and I really like this place, so please fix this problem..

Great place, small but friendly, the food here is absolutely amazing. The best part is you pay so little for such huge helpings, whenever my girlfriend and I go we usually only order one bowl of Jjamppong to split between us and well still have some for leftovers. This didnt include their amazing rice plates, Ramen, Udon, fried noodles, and delicious sides. They also have a wide variety of drinks from soft drinks, ice coffee, and hot or iced tea, to a great selection of imported and domestic alcohols. Id highly recommend this place if you love great, inexpensive food, but you dont have to take my word for it 😁

The waitress gave us the wrong order. We ordered 2 jajamyuns and she heard 2 bulgogi and she handed us 2 plates of bulgogi. We told her POLITELY that those were not our orders and the bulgogis come with salads so she grabbed both our forks off the plates and put it on the table. Then she continued to give us such bad remarks that we ordered wrong and we were the one who said it wrong. We went there for one thing. We wouldnt order what we didnt come for. And then she brought our food and continued to give us attitude that WE ordered wrong. Then she later came ND said ou card didnt go through. Its a debit card?! Like what?! Ok.... Jesus. Worse service ever. The younger korean lady treated us horribly, she purposely hit the table on purpose with a bowl. Ask her for a bowl and she told the nicer older korean lady to give it to us instead. The rude lady did not even acknowledge me saying thank you. Hate this place. Never coming again....the service use to be good. Basically, if you dont tip her/them, the next time you come, they treat you like rubbish. The end!!!

Rock & Noodle serves some of the best Chinese jjampong & jjajang myun Ive had in a long time. Jjampong is a spicy seafood Noodle soup & jjajang myun is a black bean sauce Noodle dish. The best part of it all is that it has that charred flavor that most restaurants dont bring out. Food is great, staff are friendly, what more could you ask for?

I went for the first time and sadly was disappointed on the food i order. I saw on the picture how the black bean noodles were thick and black on the sauce but when I went to buy it the sauce were just brown to a little black. I wanted to order the Jjampong but the waitress told me they dont have it today and so I tried ordering the seafood ramen but then told me theyre out of seafood so I ended up sharing a Jajangmyeon with my friend and a few minutes later a guy came in and ordered the seafood ramen and they gave him his order and after a few more minutes someone else ordered the jjampong and they gave them their order of jjampong....

I walked in during my lunch hour was never greeted or handed a menu literally sat for like 10 min until someone asked me how many people I was with when I had obviously been sitting waiting to be served alone. I was never brought a menu after someone finally asked me if I was alone horrible service good food but horrible service I left without ordering in this case although they never have good service
