Home style Filipino food. Portions were ok. The Adobo needed more gravy, otherwise the meat is dry. The egg rolls were served hot and was crispy. The homemade potato chips were disappointing. It wasnt crisp. Halo halo and ice creams were good. Service was great and staff was friendly.

I think this might be the best restaurant Ive been to in Vacaville. We got two types of sandwiches: pork adobo, arranged like a French dip and one chicken tocino (panini-like). Both were outstanding. Absolute flavor explosions. Then we got a halo halo to share, which was a decadent dessert experience based around ube ice cream, sweet beans and coconut ice Service was friendly! I really recommend this place! Good for a lunch date.

Tried the halo halo and lechon kawali with their own sauce. Everything tasted great, they even accommodated my request for less sugar on my halo halo. By the way Roline’s own lechon kawali sauce tasted great. Roline even have her own published recipe book available at the store. Highly recommended to try this place.

Enter the Restaurant, there is seating and an Ice Cream Counter and Window. Walk past that and encounter the back side of the store for the Food Display case. My 1st time at a Filipino Restaurant. I have had this type of food at work social events in the past. I recognize a couple of items.The items available that I have not seen before, i asked for the description of what is it? The nice young lady assisting me, offered me taste samples along with the description. I tried the Garlic Rice, to see if indeed it was just named that or does the taste back it up? The Garlic Rice was it!!!! I tested the Dinuguan (It said Blood Pork). It was very dark in color. The taste has a little vinegary BUT that Pork was super tender. YES, lets get it. I ordered the 2 item plate. The other was BBQ Chicken, the usual familiar taste that I had in the past. Still good.All in all I give this place Rolines a 5 Stars All Day. The thing that took it to the 5 Stars is they fact they honor Military and Veterans with a discount. Brovo!!! I will be back when in the area again.

Just found this earlier this year and have not failed to come back to have a decent halu-halo everytime Im in Vacaville. A good suggestion is after you walk around the outlet, have yourself a cold mouthwatering dessert! Theyve got 2 sizes to choose from (teaser and original). Aside from the classic, they also have special flavors like Champorado. They also serve rice meals as you have your lunch; entrees and a la carte. If youre in during the week, an open bar is availble to make your meal!

Original/Basic Halo Halo for their Deluxe size (like a Grande size at Starbucks) cost $16 plus with tax. OVERPRICED HALO-HALO! You can get the same size Halo Halo elsewhere for half that price and in a much bigger cup. Facts! Place is not lighted right and seems like an outside kitchen in there!

Food is good but are premium price, not because of quality but they are specialty cultural food. The store is a combination of a fast food and bakery. The halo Halo is a highly price dessert comparable to the globally acclaimed Boba and salty cheese smoothie sold just a few yards away from this location. Nothing special about the cooking, but is only geared towards the gustatory longing of foods cooked in the Philippines. Enjoy

The bbq pork order was majority tomatoes/onions and barely had any meat. The cashier messed up our order and we ended up taking food togo that my wife couldnt even eat since she just had dental surgery. When we called the place, the same girl that was the cashier was very unapologetic and even put me on hold without telling me. We went there based on all the good reviews on yelp and google but we just had a horrible experience.

Provides decent food for the only Filipino restaurant in Vacaville. The halo halo is great and I love that there are options!My first time here I ordered the daing na bangus and it was a pretty large portion and was pretty delicious.Most recently I ordered lechon kawali but I could tell it was old which was disappointing. The house lechon sauce was great though!

Amazing food. Pancit is a little different than my family does, lots of crunchy veg. I think secretly my dude likes theirs better so I went ahead and bought the cookbook too 😂😂 no Filipino can look at this menu without getting excited though. Lots of classics and bomb desserts. I just happen to find this place when I was meeting someone from work at a job across the street. I really loved the Halo Halo I ordered. I think it was the best I ever had. I enjoyed every last drop on my way back to San Jose. I will for sure make a stop here whenever I am up this way. Yummy!

So I have only been here twice, but both were great experiences. The first time we just were getting lumpia, tons of wonderful, delicious lumpia. So good! And the service, they are like d friends here, all of them. 💚 The second time my daughter and I popped in and had a food that was a true experience; the Halo Halo. My new favorite spot just kind of happened. I went in for a snack but the portions are generous so it turned into a meal. I placed it to go but I started picking at it and before I knew it I had eaten the whole plate before leaving. The ice cream is unique and flavorful. The food is always delicious and well made. Pork adobo is one of my favorite meals and you absolutely cant go wrong with lumpia.Im writing this review though because I want to highlight the exceptional service. I placed an order through Yelp/GrubHub and was given an estimated pick up time which was roughly an hour. I was sitting in my car outside and got a phone call from Roline letting me know my order was ready. I didnt have to wait for an extra 20 minutes. It was such a small thing, Im sure she was super busy, but the fact that she took the time to call really made my day.

Went to Rolines to get a savory meal. It was about 3:45pm. I guess thats too late to get food. I ordered pork adobo, pancit, and another dish (enough to feed 4). Paid $49.74. They came back after 15 minutes to tell me they didnt have enough for a large pork adobo so I changed it to chicken adobo. Then they said they didnt have enough pancit and substituted 2 orders of lumpia. Got home to find barely enough to feed 3. The pancit tasted like they scraped the bottom of the pot after it had spoiled. Suggestion: go there earlier in the day or go somewhere else. I recommend going somewhere else. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

A good place to eat your Halo-halo if you dont have time to go in Asian stores where there are Chowking, Red Ribbon, etc. Though their Halo-halo is more expensive than those well known food chains and you still get the same taste... Roline’s is home to some of the best Filipino food I’ve ever had. Living on both the west and east coast, there is a wide array of places I’ve tried but Roline’s almost always comes out on top. Their lumpia is great, their customer service even greater. If you enjoy their home restaurant, take a stop at the Deville theater downtown and try Chef Roline’s great dishes there!

Amazing Wedding Catering... We recently worked with the Rolines team for a wedding and it was some of the most amazing food weve had all year! Our couple was fusing the Brides Filipino culture with the Grooms back home Boston culture, and boy did Rolines knock the Filipino side out of the park! Their buffet was complete with lumpia, pancit, chicken adobo, pineapples, shrimp paella, and of course mouth watering lechon pigs! Even those guests who had never experienced Filipino food were loving all the flavors and culture Rolines provided. They finished the night with their Halo-Halo bar, another way our couple included Filipino fusion into their wedding day, and it was the perfect fit for a little sweet tooth. The Rolines team was a great addition to the day and we are excited to work with them again in the future. Highly recommend you reach out if you are looking for delicious food and a great team!

Ive been here twice before, from out of town. I liked the menu and wanted to try different entrées and dessert.. Today I tried adobo over steamed rice and I was disappointed with how sweet it tasted. Adobo is not suppose to be sweet and this one seemed to be swimming in sugared water. I didnt taste the vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, pepper, and bay leaf, which is what I was craving for. This tasted more like lechon paksiw or paksiw na pata. The meat was tender which was great. They added potatoes which I didnt really care for. I will be back, but will skip the adobo.

Ive only come to Rolines for their Halo-halo. Unlike other places that have it pre-made sitting in a fridge, Rolines has a bar where you can choose your fillings, toppings, ice cream, and add-ins. Comes in two sizes, $3 Teaser or $5 Regular. Absolutely the best in the area. As a matter of fact, Im headed there now!

Please please please, someone who knows about Quality Filipino food should really consider opening up a great Filipino restaurant in Vacaville. All of the Filipinos I know that live in Vacaville drive to Vallejo or even as far as San Bruno California. If there was a Filipino restaurant in Vacaville that was as good as some Filipino restaurants in San Bruno, business would be Booming!!!We have lots of Japanese restaurants, Thai restaurant, Chinese restaurant etc in Vacaville but we only have one Filipino restaurant and it’s below average in terms of Cleanliness, food quality and customer service. My family and I walked in, looked at the cafeteria style food that looked like it’s been sitting way to long”stomach ache” and just by the setup of the unwelcoming atmosphere, we all decided to leave. Need of a Overhaul or new management. Sorry but just being real...

I used to live in Vacaville and going to Rolines is like being with family! I remember when they first opened and the changes they have made and the food and the hospitality NEVER changes. I have eaten at many Filipino restaurants in the area and ANYONE who comes here, please take the time to stop in and say Hello, you will be glad you did. I live out of state and when I am back in Northern Cal, I always go hungry and leave filled and happy.
