12/6/2023Its a fast service sushi place for sure. I liked my crunchy roll and teriyaki chicken just fine but it does feel rushed. I would say its perfect for a quick lunch on a work day. The store front was clean and the staff were nice enough. Overall its perfectly fine.

Very disappointed today Friday came to eat here at 4:15 pm and order my dinner with my friend, as I mentioned to him I really like this place well that definitely change!!!! Bad bad customer service their cashier with red hair was very rude to the clients seating saying that she has to mop they close at 5 pm and started mopping with really strong floor fabuloso solution I had to stop eating horrible got bad headache. She basically was kicking us out of the restaurant and the food was even cold. I don’t recommend this place anymore super upset and disappointed with their service today 12/16/22 Friday their manager needs to teach her how to treat paying customers!!! She need better training!!!!

Really sad the prices went up here. This was my favorite place to eat a bento box for lunch before I moved, but it’s +$4 and costed me $20+ for a steak box with drink now. Taste is still good but cant justify the 40% price increase for me to come back :(

The food was pretty good, we orded a variety of sushi rolls and we thoroughly enjoyed them. I would have to say, though, that the best thing about this place is their staff- they were super helpful and friendly. Since we ordered our food to go they made sure our food was individually labeled so we knew whos food belonged to who and they even included xtra sauces/ utensils...I should also mention that the store looked extremely clean!😊 Would come again simply for the service.

If you are hungry and craving Japanese-western, its a good go to for value. This Bento box was only $10 and very fulfilling. Its counter service and they offer free water.

I consider this place the BEST to get Bento plates, not only they are extremely good but for the amount you pay they serve you incredibly well.Plus everything is fresh and the quality of their products strictly high, definitely a place you need to visit if in the John Wayne airport area!!!

Update second visit- it is consistently delicious!!! Thank you Roll It Sushi and baby Jesus! Oh the Beef Teriyaki is yum! The Tempura side crunchy even with takeout, the Asian chicken salad is tangy, the potato salad is perfect.Received two delicious bentos quickly and affordably. Will be back soon to try out more items!

The guys were super helpful and friendly, the food was fantastic, my customers were delighted to have a delicious, healthy option. The ingredients were so fresh and the combinations somehow both super basic and super creative. Can not recommend this truck highly enough. Thank you for a great event!

One of the better Sushi spots in the area thats pretty affordable. Youll find a lot of business folks from the area coming here for their lunch break. Their California rolls are made with real crab which is a definite plus and their bento box portions are very generous. Everything Ive gotten from them has been delicious so far!

Ordered take out of miso soup, tempura and the spicy crab sushi. They were very good for the price. Portions were generous. To top it off, the lady at the counter gave very good service. Will definitely come back if Im in the area.

My employer could not have made a better choice what restaurant to have catered on 12/11/2020! First time we had any sushi/Japanese lunch catered. D-lish! 😋 The spices in the mashed potatoes were the best Ive ever tasted. The salad, rice, and teriyaki chicken & pork were great. Top it all off with fresh edamame still in the pods and it all makes for one of the most affordable, yet great-tasting Bento boxes available in Orange County.My coworkers were all assuming it was the most expensive lunch weve ever had catered. According to other reviewers, it cant be. I will believe the other reviewers whove been here before 12/11/2020.This fine Japanese restaurant is among the many I will have delivered to my home on a workday evening if I dont feel like making a dinner for myself. Considering the hours, Id probably have to place my order before leaving work when I get off @ 16:00 so that the order is prepared and delivered to my home by 17:00 when this place closes.

Portion sizes are decent for the price. However, I dont think the staff checks the meals. I ordered the lunch bento box with potstickers and did not receive pot stickers even though the receipt with the meal MATCHED my own receipt that clearly said potstickers.

Its not too far from the UCI campus and its a convenient spot for students and professionals to stop in and order. They have poke bowls, sushi rolls, bento boxes, and other individual items you can order. Food comes out quick, service is great, and prices are reasonable.

I havent had a bad meal here yet, and Ive been coming semi regular for a year. Its true the portions are getting smaller over time and the prices higher, but thats monetary inflation, not the restaurant. The quality hasnt fallen in the meantime, so all things considered I think its a great bite.I get the bento box for variety, but always the teri chicken. Always good cuts, not gristle. Theyll do brown rice if you ask, so it can be carb light, protein friendly.My friends have tried the sushi, and its usually ok. If youre looking for high end sushi, youd be better off at Nana San not too far away

Quick and friendly service. Loooove the bento. Affordable and tasty. More than enough food to fill you up for lunch. Chicken bento is only $9.99 and any other main selections are an additional dollar but no upcharge for selections on the other THREE items you pick to round out your bento.

This teriyaki and sushi place was alright. I had a bento box and a sushi roll. The bento box was your standard greens with sesame Ginger salad dressing and it was really good. The flavor was great and the salad had big chunks of carrot and good fresh leaf lettuce. The tempura was as you expect it to be, its hard to screw up fried shrimp. The spicy tuna roll that came with the bento box was good, good flavor, cold and well put together. The teriyaki chicken was just okay. I dont know if this restaurant pan fries or flat top grills chicken or if they were just in a hurry because it was a busy lunch but there was none of the Char-Broil that I expect when I order teriyaki chicken. I also had a king roll it is shrimp crab and tuna with eel sauce on top it was also okay, not great not awful.

Had a late night at the office and was starving. Roll-It happened to be open, so I gave it a try.I tried their bento box, which is a really good deal. You get a ton of food -- protein, rice, salad, potato salad, edamame, 4-piece cut roll, and either a side of potstickers or sesame chicken (do the chicken).Im now a regular and Ive converted my co-workers. We were there 3 days in a row not long ago lol.

I have been going to this place since we found out it was just here last year. I have known this owner since he was a kid from his japanese father who owned a Japanese restaurant in City of Industry/Rowland Height area for 2 decades. Food are just tastefully as if you’re in Japan. I highly recommend this place. Just give it a shot and you’re gonna get addicted. Oishi!
