Was in the mood for a sandwich and after reading some reviews decided to come in and try. i was greeted and assisted with my order by a really nice man. i got the new york. it was delicious as well as the potato salad. i ended up getting a large and it was huge. you can really tell they care with the quality of food and service they’re giving.

Ordered two sandwiches from here today both the same. Large Pepper Turkey cheddar everything on it. Toasted. Sourdough bread and take the bread out of the middle. The flavors are delicious, I really enjoyed the sandwich. One sandwich did not have enough meat, it was mostly lettuce and veggies. Otherwise, I thought it was a delicious and definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and looking for a sandwich.

Wow-we needed a quick sandwich after leaving the airport and I found this place on Google Maps. We split a large albacore tuna sandwich on a sourdough roll and it was delicious, HUGE and blew us away. Now I’m just sad that it’s not in my neighborhood, but we’ll be back! 10/10

Roma Deli is a staple here in San Bruno and for good reason. They have excellent service and delicious sandwiches. The ingredients are fresh and the portion sizes are large. Also, they have probably the best chip selection Ive ever seen in restaurant. Go here...you wont be disappointed!

Great deli in downtown San Bruno. Their bread and sauces are awesome! I ordered a signature Turkey sandwich on Dutch Crunch bread (which is baked locally). Very friendly staff. The owner came and asked me how the food was. Perfect! Thank you.

In the neighborhood and decided to get a sandwich at Romas. I ordered Hot Pastrami on Rye. Bread to meat to veggie ratio was absolutely perfect! Staff was friendly and very accommodating as I forgot to ask for jalapenos. But they have to me on the side anyways.

I’ve been going to Romas for about 8+ years. This has been one of my go to sandwich places in the Bay Area. One will say it’s either Mr. Pickles or Little Luccas but Romas is hands down the best! Peppered Turkey on Dutch crunch is my usual but I’ve tried a couple of other ones that are also worth getting. If im willing to switch my usual up then you know it’s good!

Absolutely love this deli! I got the pastrami sandwich (my go-to order when i try out a new place) and Roma Deli did not disappoint. In fact, they exceeded all expectations. The bread is fresh, the meat is generous and tasty. And the workers were genuinely interested in my satisfaction, since they asked if there was any way they can improve the sandwich.The next time I visited, I got the clam chowder. The chowder was delicious, a generous portion and perfectly seasoned.Looking forward to trying out their other sandwiches and meals.Ask for John, hes my guy! Highly recommend!!!

Ordered a sandwich through UberEats and got it in a timely fashion!Sandwich is huge, but I feel like a lot of it is the fillers (lettuce, tomato). That being said, its really tasty. I got my favorite bread, dutch crunch, and it was delicious, even the day after.Overall, Id say if youre in the area and craving a sandwich, go for it!

My wife and I ordered a regular & large Avocado Veggie sandwich and Salt & Vinegar chips from Roma Deli via Uber. What we actually received was a regular & large Roast Beef sandwiches with no avocado. My wife is pescatarian and I’m vegetarian, so naturally we were incredibly concerned.My wife took the meat off and liked the small bit she tried of the sandwich.The chips tasted old as if they were expired.If you don’t eat meat, be aware!

Excellent sandwiches. Breads are fresh and nice quality. They use tasty real meats, which are way better than the cold cuts at chain stores like Subway. Their house special garlic herb sauce adds a nice touch. This is a family business and can be a little slow at lunchtime on weekdays.

The penne bolognese with good 😋.If youre craving a sandwich in the San Bruno or Millbrae area, then this is the place to go get a sandwich!They always use fresh ingredients, and their house spread is bomb 💣 ...assuming that you like garlic. I usually get their pastrami sandwich on dutch crunch 🍞. I get the large size do I can eat half, and then the other half later.Parking could be a challenge, however, they have a parking lot in the back. If youre not going to eat there, Id suggest to call in and order ahead.They recently extended their hours until 5pm.Great family-run business with great sandwiches. I highly recommend this deli!

Awesome sandwiches. Their small is actually pretty big.I got their pastrami, and it was delicious. The sandwich was pretty loaded with meat, and even their bread was great.The sandwich was ~$7.25 (w/ tax), which I think it is a pretty decent price for the size and quality of the food.Will come back again.

Turkey supreme deluxe on Dutch crunch bread was one of the best sandwiches Ive ever had. The service was outstanding. The woman who made my sandwich was so friendly and came over to ask me how I liked the sandwich despite me being the only one in the restaurant at the time. One of my favorite sandwich shops in the country(well, in the world). I have moved to Austin several years ago, but I stop here every time I visit the Bay Area(~once a month). This is an old Italian no-frills deli owned by a Korean family which serves quality sandwiches for reasonable prices. The decor is old and they havent updated it since the 50s or 60s, but no one goes there for the decor.I have never seen them completely empty. I have gone there at all sorts of odd hours and I always find people getting multiple sandwiches and the owners always working. They have Boarshead brand deli meat which is high quality to begin with. On top of that they make their own chicken and egg salads which are tasty. And they dont skimp on the meat. They hollow-out the bread to make sure the meat sits properly.Their Dutch crunch bread is to die for. I haven’t found the Dutch crunch like theirs anywhere else, not even in NYC. I love the homemade chicken salad and the spicy sauces. The owner Sun is so sweet and awesome; I love her smile when she serves sandwiches. I have been coming here since 2007 and she remembered me and my order even after I didnt visit them for over 2 years. Her husband is also very friendly.I will be visiting for another 20 years.Update(2019/2020): Sun and her husband sold this shop and went traveling in Korea. I very much miss her warm smile. Luckily the new owners are their family friends and so they are keeping up with the tradition and still serve excellent sandwiches.

Best sandwich spot on the Peninsula! They have really interesting combos of fresh and tasty ingredients in all of their sandwiches. The corn beef, roast beef, pastrami, salami and polish sausage sandwiches are too die for.Also their sandwiches are so large that make a full meal. The meats are top quality and the breads are so delicious!This as a must go for sandwich lovers on the peninsula. One of the best sandwich shops on the area hands down. They use boars head meat and their sandwiches have the perfect balance. None of the ingredients really overpower or make the sandwich stand out but when it comes together its wonderful. I usually go with the turkey deluxe on dutch crunch. Little Luccas is bigger but I would still choose this one.

First of all, this is not an Italian Deli. Dont be fooled by the name. It was an Italian Deli back in the day but not anymore. I dont know what happened to this place but it has taken a dive. I walked in and immediately, the two people behind the counter looked at me like I had no business being there. The woman even gave me a dirty look. I dont have a clue what their problem was. I tried to be congenial but their vibe was so offputting, I turned around and walked out. To tell you the truth, the place was so unappealing and depressing, I wouldnt have wanted to order anything anyway. Just a very bad experience and sad to see a once thriving and popular spot end up like this one.
