Romos Cafe in Hayward

Definitely did not expect this random unassuming place to be so charming with a delightful back patio. The whole vibe transported me to Mexico and I almost forgot that I was in Hayward near a freeway. I said to my partner “I don’t even care if the food is good, this is my new favorite place”I got the avocado toast and iced chai. Both were delicious and satisfying. Especially the bread which was totally worth breaking my diet for! The bacon I stole out of my partner’s sandwich was also excellent. He told me to mention that the coffee was great which is high praise from someone who only buys artisan coffee from a local roaster.

Very friendly coffee shop friendly staff they have breakfast,sandwiches and pastries.There is seating in the back and front of the establishment. There is parking on the side of the building but it’s limited

Stumbled on this place by coincidence and I couldnt be happier. Food was fresh delicious and great atmosphere. Will definitely come again. Try their cafe de olla and chipotle chicken. They gave us samples of the chia pudding which was also incredible.

Their strawberry banana crepe was super yummy. My friend had chia bowl and she enjoyed it too. We ate in the patio and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I was so happy to discover this place.

Such a gem!! You must try the cafe de olla along with the chia pudding- amazing! We inhaled the baguette sandwiches so you already know those were so good. I loved the outside seating area where you can soak up the sun and slow down while you enjoy some delicious food. We will need to stop here every time we’re in the area. The owner is the sweetest and will check in to see if you’re fully enjoying your meal + cafécito ❤️

I’ve been here twice and the food is always delicious - they have a specialty coffee made only here and some tasty pastries (I like the guava one!). It’s family owned and everyone is so nice! Very cute place, lovely artwork, and back patio area too!

The cutest place you would never realize was there!!! We popped by one morning for a quick bite and we’re not disappointed. Got the avocado toast, chia bowl, a latte and their coffee. Everything was SO good and the fruit was super fresh and delicious

This is Gem and 5 star cafe.Amazing service, vibe, coffee and food.The outdoor area is amazing! This is a humble place if anyone wants to relax and enjoy coffee.I found my coffee place in Hayward.

10/10. This is such a piece place and the sandwiches are SOOO GOOD. The ice latte I got was only okay but nothing beats the service here. Everyone is so sweet. They even gave us free chia seed pudding. Will definitely be coming back often.

Hidden Gem in Hayward! This is my favorite coffee shop. This place is special, starting from the wonderful, friendly customer service and wonderful menu. They coffee and the cafe de olla mmmm! You must try the cheese, ham and jalapeno empanadas they are so good! I love the chia bowl, the Cesar salad, El TREN sandwich. I cannot have one favorite item. Its a cute coffee place, the interior is full with vivid colors, very welcoming. But wait, theres an outdoor patio which I love! You have to stop by and try it for yourself, I recommend it!
