So tried this spot for lunch, to go order. I got thier double cheese burger, chicken and beef plate and gyoza. The burger wasnt great. Its char broiled but I believe they overcooked or didnt clean the grill well because you can taste the char marks on the burger which give a funky burnt, charcoal or something other than meat flavor. It sucks cuz the burger looked good, but the meat patty didnt have any flavor, I mean a little salt and pepper could change that. Instead u get charcoal flavor. The chicken and beef plate comes packed with meats, rice and a side salad. Its a lot of food. The gyoza is deep fried with a teriyaki sauce. It was ok, kinda crispy on the edge. Its a lot of food, just disappointing with the burger. Not sure if theres anything else Id like to try. Not really into Japanese fusion burritos, which is basically a meat n rice wrap.

Instagram: @ortegajerome88I gave this Restaurant a 5 for their food quality and taste. I ordered the large chicken and steak plate. They only have the chicken and steak option for their large size. Plate comes with rice, chicken, steak, green onions, and sesame seed. The flavor of the steak was tender and had a nice charred taste to it. The chicken tasted clean and fresh. Their overall ingredients were pretty good quality. Their teriyaki sauce was sweet and tangy. Total was around $ 30.00 for a medium chicken bowl and large steak and chicken plate, added avocado with 1 drink.Solid choice for some terriyaki bowls or plates.

1st time here and Im coming back whenever in the area. Great tasting food @ reasonable prices. Staff was friendly, answered any ?s I had + recommended some dishes. Clean dinning area and fresh food, keep up the great work guys👍

Food was excellent atmosphere was great but unfortunately had a very bad experience with the staff. My friend and I decided to stop by and try out the restaurant we went in ordered set down to eat outside patio area and 10 minutes after we had began eating the server comes and tells us that we have to leave that its closed start it putting away the chairs and the umbrella on the table next to the patio area. So we went inside to finish eating as I assume that he was closing up the patio area there was another customer when his two small children eating and another couple then they turned off the lights inside on all of us as we were still eating it was dark except for a small light in a kitchen area told us we had to leave there was no warning not even when we ordered where we made aware that they were closing soon I could not believe that we were being treated that way so I got up and asked to speak to the manager but there was no manager and asked can I have the number to the corporate office the employee said there was no corporate office and I asked for the number for the owner I expressed how could he treat customers this way and he said well I told you we were closing I said no you should have told us in the beginning when we were ordering to warn us that you guys were closing in 10 minutes told him it is not okay to treat people this way.

Hate to write this but the food wasn’t good the chicken was dry as the Sahara and several pieces were burnt so it’s nothing like eating burnt dry chicken had to use several teriyaki sauces to help. Overall the lady at the counter was super sweet and nice that’s why I hate to write this bad review who knows maybe I got a bad batch but I will not be going again. Also being on the corner of Painter and Whittier Blvd you would think it should be much busier especially during lunch but it was empty…..I can see why

You should definitely get the Teriyaki Fries so amazing. But they took awhile for the food even though the app said it was ready for pick up.Edit: lower 2 stars because constantly app says food is ready but I always end up waiting 10-15 min after.

Tried this place for lunch and wasnt disappointed by generous the portions. Nice patio, plus the parking entrance is somewhat quirky. Friendly staff.

Great little spot. It is well maintained and clean. Theres probably about 8 tables that can seat 4. Its a minimal counter where you place your order. That accept contactless payments. Portions are fair given the prices. The food is pretty good. I had the chicken and shrimp. The kitchen also appeared to be pretty clean as well.

This is my first time here at RONIN Terriyaki I order a chicken and shrimp bowl an chicken BBQ sandwich and a teriyaki chicken burger and it all tasted great except the horchata the container was full but it was water down.

My daughter loves coming here. We usually do to go because its convenient. But always great service.
