The food was just okay. The place is small and pretty run-down looking, but thats usually a sign that the food is really good.Unfortunately, everything was pretty average. Ive never seen half-diced mushroom pieces in Westlake Minced Beef soup before, and it proved to be an interesting texture. It was weirdly sweet, but it seemed like they tried to drown out that sweetness with extra salt.The fried rice was chock full of soy sauce. They probably should ease it up a little there.The seafood and vegetable dish was good when hot, but when it cooled down, the sauce became gooey and unappetizing.The salt and pepper fish was okay, but it seemed like they could ease up on the salt yet again.Overall an alright experience, but I likely wont be back. The service was pretty fast though, so Ill give points for that.

Rose Garden is the best Chinese restaurant that Ive had in a while. I will keep going back there again and again. I have tried lots of things and nothing has disappointed me. The vegetable fried rice and the Singapore style noodle is what I get every time. I especially enjoy the egg foo young and the wonton soup. The servers in house are wonderful and the delivery people are awesome too. Thank you.❤️❤️

This is a small family restaurant. The menu is impressively large. My friend is vegetarian and I am consuming low carb. We both found things to accommodate our special dietary needs. The food was prepared very quickly and was fresh and very tasty.

To start off I have been coming to the location for years with absolutely no issues at all, great food and service. However, this past weekend I decided to take family for dinner here. Food was great and service was okay, a little pushy but okay. Once we were packing our to go boxes I placed the cash amount for bill (I had just enough in hand) so I placed on top of receipt. Right away woman who worked there rudely starred me down and asked “no tip for me” I let out a small laugh because I didn’t know if she was joking. I literally had my hand in my wallet as she went off about customer always needing to leave a tip. At that point I was shocked cause I had never had someone demand a tip from me. She didn’t know I was reaching for the tip I was going to leave on the table but after that encounter she got nothing from me. I didn’t run out on the bill I paid in full. Never demand a tip. She has no idea if someone is on their last monies to feed themselves or family. Shocked.

Ive tried a lot of Chinese Restaurants from Fremont to Oakland. And I can honestly say that this place has the Best and Affordable Foods. Try their famous House Special Chow Mein and you wont get disappointed. They have fast service too!

Super salty foodMoody ownerWe ordered salt pepper pork and Mongolian 3 and fried rice. All super salty,To a point my mouth felt dry and my tongue felt uncomfortable even after few minutesTold the owner, she said the taste supposed to be like that because it’s salt and pepper pork, it has a lot of salt to the point the green onion and jalapeños was covered with salt, even I don’t have hypertension, eating here might became cause.I was angry because felt being played and the food also super salty.It was really a bad day and bad experience eating at this restaurant.Definitely not coming back, What a waste of money

Best take out Chinese food! We have been ordering from here for months. Get the salt and pepper eggplant (chefs kiss)! Orange chicken is fire, spicy string beans are super bomb. Every time I order delivery, it is right on time and food is still hot!!

Hands Down THEE BEST chinese food in the bay area! Salt & Pepper chicken breast w/jalapeños is the best thing on the menu, sometimes when im short on cash the lady well still hook it up and let me pay next time. Prices are good and portions are great 👍

My bf and I have struggled to find a good chinese restaurant and were glad we finally found one. Definitely making this our new go-to. We ordered the orange chicken, pork fried rice, and fried chicken wings. No complaints and everything had flavor and good taste. I cannot stress enough how many times weve tried a Chinese restaurant only to be sourly disappointed and wishing to get some of that East coast chinese food. Craving some general Tsos so Ill have to try their general chicken Szechuan style to see if it is similar?? And/or can satiate the craving.

Came here for lunch and was NOT disappointed. Ordered the kung pao three combo and it was the perfect amount of deliciousness and spiciness. The cream cheese wonton was perfect and the complimentary tea hit the spot. Im pretty sure they gave me an entire zucchini; the only thing I wasnt able to finish entirely 🤣.11/10 would recommend.
