I am new to Thai cuisine, and must say, Ill be back every week to try more dishes. The restaurant is vibrant, with an easy to use online or in person ordering system. I loved the Thailand inspired artwork on the walls, definitely giving it a fun vibe.The food was amazing! I loved all the flavors, and even went with mild sauces which did not disappoint. The dishes showcase the Thai spices and flavors. The classic coconut cake and coconut pudding were Yummy!Definitely a great place, with owners who put their heart and soul into the food and ambiance.

Sunday afternoon I intend to eat cake at this restaurant. Because I had tasted the cakes of this shop owner before..but I was surprised because besides the cakes The food tastes very good as well. As a chef, I think this restaurant is one that I would like to recommend. Because besides the taste The quality of the raw materials is good. I can see the intention in the food in front of me. And I want to be one who supports small but caring shops like this to grow. Before leaving, I ordered a birthday cake for my husband next week. It is ordered 1 week in advance. And I believe it will definitely be a special cake.

It was nice meeting Shine and his wife!We tried Pad Thai, Drunken noodle and chicken skewers! All of them are sooooooo good! I am glad to find the authentic drunken noodle after so many years. My husband was amazed by the pad Thai which is not too strong like other places.. chicken skewers had yummy street food flavors!We also bought coconut mini cake, mango sticky rice and moon cake to go. Can’t wait to go back for other dishes this weekend!

Their coconut cake is to die for (and likely to be sold out by early afternoon)! It’s not too sweet and the texture is heavenly. I also got a chance to try their Moo Tod with Jaew sauce, which is equally wonderful.I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu, which I think truly represents the Thai street food that is not commonly found in most Thai restaurants here. Amazing hospitality from the staff as well as the owner whom I got to spend some time chatting with. His passion really came through and I hope everyone can stop by to try the food and see for themselves!

Fried chicken is a perfect crisp and juicy. The owners are super friendly and most importantly, love food. They started out making food at home because they missed real thai flavors and have come a long ways! So glad theyre in berkeley. 🤌🏼

Omg to die for. A new thai neighborhood staple for me. I look forward to eating here on the reg. Flavors are on point! Loved the corn fritters, fried chicken, and corn salad especially. Also ask for the green chili sauce. Highly recommend.

Rose La Moon is located just a couple of blocks from University Ave. While there is no parking lot, street parking was easy to find. The staff greeted us warmly as soon as we stepped inside, and the delicious aromas immediately opened up my appetite.Ordering was a breeze on the kiosk. Everything we ordered was fire, but my favorites were the hat yai fried chicken, which was seasoned and fried to perfection, and the Moo Tod, which is fried pork shoulder pieces with a delicious tamarind sauce.We also got the pandan cake and it was both fragrant and not too sweet (the ultimate goal of Asian dessert).The owners were super hospitable, and they are clearly passionate about the food and desserts that they put out to the community. They shared that “Rose La Moon” translates to “Harmonious Flavors”! Come check it out, Rose La Moon is a wonderful addition to the area!

Not your typical Thai restaurant: This is a family-owned spot that prides itself in being unapologetically authentic with their dishes. As you peruse through the menu on the self-order kiosk, you will be engulfed in the salivating aromas of the kitchen, making you want to try everything on their menu. The Thai street food options will alter your perception of Thai cuisine, and you will wonder why it took so long for a place like this to pop up in the Bay Area. And somehow, they manage to find the time to curate a fine selection of exotic Thai desserts as well??I came here only a few weeks after they opened, and was so impressed by the quality and flavor of the food. You can tell that the owners put a lot of heart into this place. Excited to see what they have in store for the future!

Me and a coworker came here on our lunch break and had a great meal. The place was clean front to back, the food came out in 9 minutes piping hot and the staff gave us a free fried chicken and drinks. The Pad Thai was just right, and the free Chicken was super crispy and juicy. If I ever get the chance to come back Ill definitely take it.
