From the mixed drinks to the appetizer to the mains, from beginning to end, a great meal! We came here to celebrate our anniversary on a Sunday night and enjoyed the experience. The chef has done a great job with some of the Asian fusion flavors. The Jumbo Prawn Tandoori had an excellent pepper sauce with a touch of sweetness and full of flavor. The New York Strip steak was well seasoned. To top it off, the service was excellent. We will be back!

Amazing foods.. I have my son birthday party here. We love all the foods and everyone here very friendly. Everything is great including the location. Parking very close by. We will come back agains for more foods.! Chef John stop by and greet, making sure food is good. Patrick very nice take good care all of us. Making sure we are have a great time. If you looks for great food and good place for your party’s. Rosewood Social have everything you are looking for. Thank you Chef John and Patrick so much. Rosewood Social is amazing! The food is out of this world good!! We loved the Steak Tips, Tom Yum Soup, Honey Walnut Shrimp, and the Garlic Mashed Potatoes. The staff was so warm and accommodating the entire time. You can tell they really enjoy taking care of their guests! I had the Electric Avenue cocktail and it was so refreshing with the fresh strawberry mixed in! We will definitely be back and can’t wait to bring our entire family next time. You won’t be disappointed and the views are breathtaking from the rooftop!

Cute new restaurant in San Juan Capistrano! We had great service from Lauren! We ordered drinks that were amazing! I had the Electric Avenue made with fresh strawberries and my husband had the guava margarita. The honey walnut shrimp and tom yum soup were amazing. The steak tips were so tender. Can’t wait to go back and try more things.

Rosewood social exceeded my expectations! Between the drinks, food and views you cannot go wrong! As a gluten free gal its hard to find a restaurant with so much variety that is gluten free, and this menu has it all. The steak tips were delicious with a nice kick to it and the lobster rolls are massive! Such a great new addition to San Juan! Can’t wait to go back!

We were so excited for this rooftop restaurant to finally open! Located in the downtown area of San Juan Capistrano, this is the go to restaurant for a beautiful brunch on the patio or fun date night out. We tried the bang bang burger, hash browns and delicious cocktails. If you are in the area, highly recommend for brunch or dinner. The dinner menu looked amazing! This would be a fun spot for birthday dinner or special occasion. Cant wait to go back for dinner soon. Thank you Rosewood Social for a delicious and elevated dining experience with excellent food and service. We will be back!

We dined here on a Thursday evening and were most impressed from the time we entered. Greeted by one of the owners Patrick and his team, we were welcomed and the drinks and menu explained right away. An excellent cocktail menu gave us pause, with so many nice options to choose, and no choice disappointed. The Thai inspired menu allows either shared plates or individual choices and was fresh, flavourful and beautifully plated for presentation. Head chef and co-owner John came out to introduce himself and check on our choices. A new star in San Juan and certainly one we’ll return to.

Patrick guided us through the entire process flawlessly, from our initial tour months in advance to curating the perfect menu and coordinating every detail on the night of our event. His professionalism and genuine hospitality made our evening truly memorable.EXPERIENCE: Our event, hosting approximately 55 people, took place in their private dining area and spilled over onto the charming balcony, creating a delightful indoor/outdoor ambiance. Rosewood Social impressed us with its elegant and balanced design, unlike many other rustic restaurants we considered in San Juan Capistrano. Nice and friendly place with great views. We were just relaxing on the rooftop drinking while people watching. It was a nice experience here. Will come back to try the food in the future. Owner brought water bowls for our dogs without us asking. That was definitely a PLUS!!!!!

We just tried Rosewood Social for the first time and were very impressed with the food. The tenderloin tips were outstanding. My wife had the Chilean sea bass and I had the short ribs - both were fantastic. We had a couple of deserts and the waffle croissant was fantastic - great blending of flavors. This will definitely become one of our go to spots. The chef/owner came out to introduce himself. Nice touch and I love supporting small businesses.

What a gem..we visited SJC for the first time and decided to dine there before heading back to Tustin. Based on all the positive reviews we decided to give it a try. We’re so glad we tried it.Place is located on the second floor. The decor is simple yet elegant; gives me that Spanish and Victorian style mixed together. We sat outside next to outdoor bar. The ambiance befits the name, definitely feels relaxing while enjoying the view of downtown SJC.For cocktails, we ordered based on what folks recommended: Electric Avenue, Blue Indigo, Cucumber Martini. All were fantastic! Kudos to the bartender.For starters, we ordered: Tom yum soup 👍-great flavor, papaya salad, honey walnut shrimp (highly recommended), bang bang shrimp- delicious, pad Thai, lobster spring rolls. All were great.For entrees, we got: Prime NY Strip (this is better than some high-end Steak house imo) with sautéed mushrooms.Highly recommended.For desert we ordered: cheesecake with whipped cream and ice cream and fried bananas.Overall, I’m glad we decided to give this place a try. We want to come back to try the Chilean Seabass since that has high ratings.

Rosewood Social is my new favorite go to spot in Southern Orange County. The food was 10/10 and the service was very professional for my business meeting. Our server Myranda was exceptional as she knew what direction to point us in and waited on us like we owned the place lol. I’ll be coming back for more than just business meetings. I’m looking forward to trying more of the menu as the bang bang shrimp and fried chicken karaage were beyond phenomenal.

This restaurant, is truly a culinary experience!Side/starter dishes are amazing, especially the Steak Tips.Best thing on the menu is the Sea Bass with Forbidden Rice. The Croissant Waffle was so unique and delicious. The owners are super engaged with their customers.Literally, on outside patio, the table to the left of the bar has the best view in San Juan Capistrano!

What a great experience we had at this beautiful restaurant! Wonderful, fresh, interesting food (the pad Thai was genuinely fantastic and I’ve had some really wonderful Thai food), a gorgeous view, and reasonable pricing for the quality and quantity. The chef came out to say hello which was such a charming touch, and the staff was delightful. A lovely place to lunch in SJC, with some of the best views of the town!

Stopped by to see how this new place was getting good reviews. They absolutely deserve the accolades. Amazing food, everyone in the party was more than pleased across the entirety of the menu, small plates, entrees and even drinks were enjoyed. Outside of the food the atmosphere and view were great and the staff was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Going to have to make another trip back soon.

While Rosewood Social is very good, it could use some improvements which is why the 3-star instead of 4 or 5. It was raining, so we were seated in the room right off the patio, which is basically a covered patio. We didnt get wet, but we couldnt take our jackets off either. There were two large groups (6+) and us. It was too loud with the two large groups and that kind of destroyed our romantic dinner for two vibe. To this point, I feel the hosts could learn to read a situation a bit better to make the experience better for all their customers. Second, the food is delcious. We started with the honey walnut shrimp. Amazing. I ordered a braised short rib which was supposed to come with broccoli; I love broccoli. It did not come with what I love, but with some bitter leafy vegetable which I did not like at all, so I didnt get a vegetable. The short rib was excellent. My husband had the cod dish which was wonderful. When comparing the brunch and dinner menus, its clear the brunch menu has more offereings such as salads. There wasnt a salad on the dinner menu. Sometimes I, and others, dont like to eat too heavy in the evening and a salad is a nice option. We will absolutely go back, but not for dinner; I think were going to shoot for the brunch next time.

Amazing place! My bf and I picked this spot randomly since it had good views, but the service and food were perfect. The food was so good, and the chicken and waffles were the best weve ever had.
