Delicious food, my friend dont eat spicy found its little spicy so if your dont eat spicy might not be for you we asked very mild. The tikka was grilled to perfection, everything we tried was a hit. Rice could have been warmer, nan was very good too, the place is very clean large of alcoholic and none alcoholic selection. I must say I cant wait to go back. Very nice service thank you.

This is a family owned restaurant. They have a great vegetarian menu and will make the order to your heat level. Wife loved the vegetable and rice dish and I tried the chicken tikka masala. The father greats everyone with a smile.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Royal Indian, and I must say that it was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality.One of the standout dishes for me was the aloo saag, which was absolutely amazing. The spinach and potato combination was perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. The flavor was robust, yet not overpowering, and I could taste the care and attention that went into making this dish.Another dish that blew me away was the Malai chicken Tikka. The flavor was so rich and nutty, with just the right amount of spice. The raisins added an unexpected sweetness that complemented the dish perfectly. The chicken was so tender and juicy, and it was clear that only the freshest and highest quality ingredients were used.And lets talk about the sides - the bhatura was fresh, hot, and fluffy - a perfect accompaniment to the main dishes. The garlic naan was fantastic as well, with the garlic flavor being just the right amount without being overpowering. The basmati rice was delicious, unexpectedly seasoned.To wash it all down, I tried both the mango lassi and salt mint lassi, and both were fantastic. The mango lassi was sweet, creamy, and refreshing, and the salt mint lassi was a perfect balance of saltiness and minty freshness.Overall, my dining experience at Royal Indian Restaurant was nothing short of fantastic. The food was incredible, the service was impeccable. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Ok, this place is pretty new, but you must go! Its delicious! The food was so spectacular and Im picky about my Indian food. Go support them! We had so many different dishes and they were all spectacular. Im so glad I decided to take a chance on them

We had a 3.5-4 out of 5 experience at Royal Indian Restaurant in San Pablo. We visited on a Sunday afternoon for lunch.The seating area is in a hall with sufficient space between different tables. They were serving buffet for lunch, along with alacarte options. The buffet options were surprisingly very less—tandoori chicken, a chicken gravy and a veg main course, along with rice/naan. 20 dollars plus taxes for a limited-variety buffet seemed quite steep.We ordered alacarte—chicken wraps, vegetarian manchurian and chai. The chicken wraps and vegetarian manchurian tasted pretty good, albeit somewhat one-dimensional in that the taste became monotonous pretty quickly. The chai was really good, with sugar already mixed in. In case you don’t want sugar in the chai, you might want to inform them beforehand.The service was polite through and through. The restaurant is located in a strip mall, and they’ve a restroom inside which was clean.

WOW! This was the best indian food I have had in the U.S. each dish was rich, complex, and delicious. The staff are kind and attentive and the restaurant is spacious and clean. Excellent vegan options, I can’t wait to go back and try more on their menu. Highly highly recommend.

A hidden gem in San Pablo! Great attention to detail in every dish, making it a wonderful experience from the presentation to the last bite. Royal Indian is on my go-to list of restaurants to return to and recommend in San Pablo, give them a try!

Maybe Im a tough critic but, growing up with punjabi food from my mom maybe has given me too high expectations 😅 I ordered the punjabi curry and saag paneer as well as aloo tikki chaat. Also, one order of Basmati rice and one garlic Naan. Service was quick and food came out fairly quickly. They are very nice and friendly. Both the dishes were okay but not mind blowing. Rice portion is also kind of small. We stopped here on the way back from the Bay. Will not order again.

So tasty, great value, and the staff is super nice. The sweets by the register are also delicious so I recommend trying those as well!

We both had Thali plates, my wifes vegetarian and mine not. You get to choose 2 things from the menu plus riata, nan rice and rice pudding. I choose Chicken Vindaloo and Karahi Lamb, She chose the Saag Paneer and Chana Masala. And then we ate off of each others plates Everything was excellent. We got there on a Tuesday at about 1:30. There were no other customers there which was a little weird. That made us nervous. But the food was perfect and the portion size was good.
