Absolutely horrible experience. The food was undercooked and smelled foul. We ordered meat Jerky 75% of it was fat and is smelled like a dead animal. We contacted the county to investigate because my wife became ill.

Hidden gem! I cannot believe it took me this long to discover this location! The service was superb. The food was amazing. My family LOVED every dish. We ordered way too much, but finished almost everything!

After a week on business travel, I wanted a nice sit-down dinner with my family. I have seen Royal Thai before but we usually stick to a Thai restaurant closer to home.We went on a Friday night early and it wasnt too busy. We ordered egg rolls and dumpling appetizers as the kids were starving. I expected 4 of each and we got 8 of each! They were tasty, but the sauces made them perfect.We ordered a curry, fish dish, noodle, and garlic chicken. Everyone at the table was satisfied.The ambiance is nice, cozy and homey.

We have been eating at this restaurant for many years. Joe, the current owner has continued the tradition of excellence while adding a dash of his own dishes to compliment the traditional offerings. Joe knows what he’s doing as evidenced by a large following of regular customers. The restaurant is spotless. The music is contemporary. Excellent service. Excellent food. A weekly habit.

Excellent! Even though they were busy, the service was great and the food was probably one of the best Thai I have had in quite some time. The prices were excellent too. We are definitely making Royal Thai our new regular restaurant. The sticky mango rice was iut of this world! Must try!

Dine at Royal Thai Orchid in Orange. The new owners...Kenny and his co-owners make delicious food. Thai Egg Roll are authentic homemade, Pad Thaiand Royal Fish are excellent too. Waiting for the Mango Sticky Rice to come back in season.

If you want authentic, personalized, really good Thai food...enter into this small and charming neighborhood restaurant.Great service, excellent food. The curries and glass noodles and shrimp are my favorites, but the menu is full of delicious surprises and they will personalize your dishes. A must if you are in Orange.Oct 2022, changed ownership.Totally renovated, not your charming, quaint feeling. The look is modernized, clean, more common look.The menu changed, 😥 still quality food. The Papaya salad is definetly the Star, try it.Will give it a chance and go back to find a favorite main dish.

Their Drunken Noodle was delicious! It was very flavorful & spicy just as request, but not over spicy. The soup served with my lunch special was as delicious... Im definitely going back to try more of their dishes!

10/10!! Every dish the table ordered was amazing. It’s our third time since new owners took over and it has been consistent each and every time! Sasha, Kuna, Price, and Jan are so friendly and ready to make great recommendations from the menu.Everyone needs to stop in and try!

Royal Thai Orchid rated 4.5 but the food is not as good as similar Thai restaurant rated 4.0 or under 4. Twenty people were there in the party. Mostly everyone said never buy food from this restaurant. All three items like Beef broccoli, Sweet and sower chicken and Panang chicken curry were very watery. Not satisfied.

This is a small mom and pop shop, very good food, very nice people, prices are not high, food fresh everything, my wife and I have been going to this restaurant for going on three years now and loom forwrd to each visit try the padthai with tofu and chicken the best this is a hidden local gem of a restaurant, next time you are in the mood for real Thai food try the Royal Thai Orchid, you wont be disappointed. 😋

While their menu isnt huge, they do their dishes very well. I appreciate the high quality of their ingredients; especially their meat. The pineapple curry is very good, and, perhaps surprisingly for a Thai restaurant, the homemade coffee ice cream is excellent.The restaurant is clean and service is friendly. Their takeout times are nice and short so you dont have to wait around for your food. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place.

Been eating here for many years. Joe took over when the original owners retired and he does an excellent job. The recipes havent changed, nor has the quality. Some of the best Thai food weve ever had. Do yourself a favor and try Royal Thai. Oh and when mangoes are in season Joe does a delicious and stunningly beautiful mango sticky rice dessert.

Ive had Thai food in many different cities and countries for that matter. But this restaurant is by FAR the best! Old family recipes passed down, and you can really tell. The food is so flavorful, and more complex and interesting than other Thai restaurants.I recommend the egg rolls to start...small, unique flavored, super crispy rolls of love....served with a delicious home made plumb sauce.All of the curries are very special. The Siam Shrimp is a garlic lovers dream, with a bit of sweetness. And the pad woo sen is a delicious fine noodle dish done perfectly here.If you have not tried Royal Thai Orchid in Orange, it is a must for any food lover!

On January 22nd 2022 my fiance and I came here for dinner. We were the only customers there to dine in.A woman sat us, and gave us each a menu. She took notice of his service dog (wearing her official collar and service dog tags) as soon as she saw her, she said I dont think dogs are allowed. We informed her that Tika is his trained service dog and that ADA regulations allow for service dogs to be in all California restaurants with their disabled person or trainer.While we looked over the menu there was quite a bit of rather loud conversation going on between the employees. When the woman came back (We thought she was there to take our order) she informed us that no dogs are allowed in the restaurant.A man who didnt identify himself, came from behind her and told us No dogs whatsoever are allowed in the restaurant We explained to him that she is his trained service dog and that it is illegal to refuse service .. He said that his establishment was a private business and that they would not serve us. We were told to leave, We informed him that we will be filing a complaint against his establishment based on ADA regulations.Penal code section 365.5PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT A BUSINESS THAT DISCRIMINATES AGAINST PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES OR THEIR SERVICE ANIMALS.

This place is the absolute best Tai food restaurant in all OC. Everything Ive had here is delicious, without exaggeration.The Tai Tea is a must, they also have lunch specials at $7.95. The folks that run this place are also very nice, they often take my order before they even open and have it ready within the time frame they specify!Located in the same parking lot of Round Table by the Miguels Jr. I recommend this 100%.

This is my favorite restaurant ever. If you like spicy food, youll like this place. Favorite dishes include spicy noodles (drunken noodles), spicy fried rice, spicy eggplant with beef, spicy chicken, and red chicken curry. The calamari tempura is delicious. The pad woon sen is light and never greasy. Ive tried most things on the menu and love it all. I especially like that the dishes arent too sweet, which I find in some other Thai places. I bring a lot of people from out of town here and they always want to come back when they visit! Highly recommend this place.

This is definitely what I would call a hidden gem. Its located in an indescript strip mall across from a Round Table pizza and you wouldnt even guess it was there. Once you step inside though, you feel immediately cozy and comfortable. Small place but very nice with excellent service provided. The food is some of the best Thai in the City of Orange. Just the right amount of spicy if you like a little kick but dont order past medium spicy. Parking is limited but you usually can find a space further back in the shopping center.

Its really unprofessional. The delivery man was friendly. However, there were no spoons or forks and chopsticks to eat the food. The restaurant said it was my fault. I would never recommend this service again.

Just finished a very satisfying meal. Stuffed wings, tom ka gai, pad woon sen- delicious. Been coming here since Tony and Nita owned it in the 80s. Live in Idaho now, but when Im in town I try to take my 95 yr. old mother and other family down for another feast. Been a couple years and man it was great being back.
