Family owned restaurant. Large portions of food. Our poor waiter was the only one there and he was so kind and attentive. Even though he was rushing around, he still took the time to make sure we were happy and even personally put our food into boxes. They have great deals for 2, 3, or 4 people dining options. Would definitely go back.

We stopped here for lunch. Daughter ordered chow mein house special. I am more conservative, I ordered the beef chow fun. The dishes were really good. Big portion. We could have just order one dish and split! Friendly and great service. Free appetizer, too!

Looking for a new place & found The Royal Wok. I have to say this is the BEST Chinese food I have had in forever! The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. All my food was freshly made and really affordable. I couldnt believe their lunch special was only $9.99, such a great deal! I would recommend this place 100% and will be definitely coming back for dinner sometime soon.. Please try this place out, you will not be disappointed. Take care

While I did have my food for takeout, when I went inside to pick up the food the inside of the restaurant was very clean, nice, and modern, I wish I wouldve eaten my food there but I was on a time schedule. Anyways, the food itself was really good!😋 I had the chicken chow mein and my partner had the chicken chow fun, both were really good dishes. 10/10 will be coming back here again.

This restaurant is honestly one of the best Chinese restaurants in OC. The salt and pepper tofu is beyond words. Super friendly and helpful staff, clean as can be, beautiful plants, and an inviting atmosphere. Also their fish tank is amazing 😍 Definitely worth checking out

Worst chinese food i’ve ever had. $15 kung pao chicken family style- we got less than 4 oz of chicken and 1 full pound of vegetables. The chow mein had no flavor. And the sweet and sour soup was the worst thing I’ve ever had the displeasure of trying. Save your money and go to panda express. This is NOT good food believe me I lived in NYC-don’t listen to the good reviews

Drove home with a to go order after waiting 25 minutes only to find out one of the 3 items I picked up was totally not what I ordered. Had to drive back to get correct item only to have the two correct items be cold when I got back home. The lady working there was very loud and shouting at the workers there. Delicious, fresh Chinese food. Not very busy when we visited. Service was impeccable and the food incredible. Ordered the egg rolls, sweet & sour chicken & mushroom chicken. The place is family owned and has a very welcoming atmosphere. There is a neat fish tank upon entering the restaurant. Definitely recommended.

Christmas Eve tradition to have Chinese food (A Christmas Story reference). Our place of 20+ years closed, so had to find a new place.We showed up just before a HUGE rush. The food was good, the place was busy, we had a great time. I think we found our new place.

Great local family owned restaurant with solid menu options! Put my Cantonese to good use since the owners speak the dialect as I previously remembered. It was funny getting carded for ordering a beer then of course moms gotta double check so she asked how old I was XD. Our favorite dishes so far is the house special chow mien, fried tofu, and the green beans. Family pulls their weight as both times weve been, entire families working hard serving customers and even know the locals by name!If you ever feeling lazy, order 2-3 dishes for dinner and youll have lunch the next day too. Great portion size!

We were heart broken when covid took our favorite place. 💔 but praise the gods we found Royal Wok . Eat in take out always wonderful . Food is great chefs are flexible if you want some thing changed up a little. I love ❤ thin noodles ordered house chow main with egg noodle .had to fight my husband. Everything Ive ordered is well made. Comes out hot, delicious and plentiful. Owners and staff are great. Service is fast and attentive. Nice modern design. Its just a shame I eat it faster than the chef took to make it. 11 out of 10

Just ate here for lunch with my brother and we both think this could be the best Chinese food weve had in 30 years! I had chicken chop suey and he had the spicy shrimp. Generous portions for lunch special ($9-$10), fresh and delicious. Service was quick. Loved it!

Super clean restaurant. Its new so the design of the restaurant is very clean and modern. The food is always good. The staff is supper friendly and extra good at taking care of your order, whether its takeout or dine-in. This is the only Chinese restaurant that we go to. Im picky, this restaurant meets my expectations. Give them a try. This place is very good.

Royal Wok Chinese Restaurant is one of the best Chinese Restaurants I have had the pleasure of eating at (and I have eaten at a lot of Chinese Restaurants)! When we arrived we was cheerfully greated and seated. The host/waiter provided excellent recommendations. The food was extremely fresh and full of flavor. I would highly recommend Royal Wok Chinese Restaurant!

There are not too many authentic Chinese food restaurants in Orange, but this place is good. I wished they stayed open a later. Friendly reminder they are closed on Mondays. Try the beef and broccoli in the Mongolian beef sauce. #ToDieFor

Drove by the area and saw the grand opening sign. Decided to check it out and ordered some food. They have great lunch specials. For the price, you get a choice of rice, soup, and egg roll with your order. Love the orange chicken and the the chow Mein. Good portion size. The server, Joann, was very attentive and friendly. Helped us out as much as possible.

I applaud any business that opens during COVID times. I live fairly close and havent been able to find decent Chinese food in Orange city. For any Chinese food cravings, my husband and I usually venture down to Westminster area. Thats why were glad we found Royal Wok. Their take-out portions were generous and reasonably priced. We ordered the hot and sour soup with fish in black bean sauce. A bonus for us is that their entrée comes with rice without additional costs! We were comparing their dishes with a competitor down the street and find that Royal Wok offers more fish/meat than the competing restaurant. Weve only been there once, but had a pretty good experience. Hoping to give them more business in the next few months.

Food portions are big can share with a second person. First time trying and we were pleased. We got wong ton soup, teriyaki chicken with rice, and beef chow fun. All the food was less than 35. The beef chow fun could use a slight more flavoring but it was good.

Got a flyer in the mail. We decided to go check it out. Everyone there was super friendly. Vincent help bring my food to the car. For the price, you get a pretty big portion size. They were pretty fast. Didn’t take long to get my order. Told them low salt and less oil and they delivered. The Kung Pao chicken and the chow mein was super delicious. I also order the cheese wontons and loved it! Perfect crunch to it and love the cheesy goodness inside. Would definitely love to sit down and try their food when the county allows. Very rare to find a good Chinese restaurant around town. Will be back!

I came with my family today and it wasn’t that great. The food was just ok and their service was terrible. All the food came in separate times and honestly that kinda sucked. Also, the waiter never came to bring us refills or even bothered checking on our table as much as they checked other tables. I won’t be coming back fortune cookie is so much better.

I have been in Restaurant business for more then 16 years. I know a thing or two about good food & good service.Before covid there was a different chines restaurant at the same location which was not good at all. I was driving by & I saw grand opening which was strange during Covid. I said I will give it a try. I always try Kung pao chick to see if the restaurant is good or not. The wife and husband were running around to fulfill a big take out order. I order Kungpaw chicken when it came it did not look like traditional Kung pao chicken and they forgot the peanut but it was really good. It had zucchini which I am not used. It tasted good.The next day I took my brother in law with me. He said he does not like orange chicken so I told him lets try 3 launch special. I order orange chicken, Kung pao & beef Broccoli. It was one of the best orange chicken I had in a long time. He fell in love with Orange chicken. Every time we go there he orders Orange chicken now.The hot & sour soup is really good. Very friendly service and great food. If you visit this place You will not be disappointed.Food 5+Service 5++

I love the food here so much! They’re not stingy with the proteins/meat like some places are and the price is usually worth it for me. I’ll go here when I’m in Orange. I was disappointed that the Fortune Cookies Restaurant is temporarily closed, so I went here instead and I don’t regret it at all!!

The food here is your basic chinese cuisine. I would prefer pick up sticks or panda express over this, if i’m being honest . It is not bad but it is also not good I would call this your average chinese food. They also forgot one of our orders when I went. So we had to cancel to them which was unfortunate.

The first thing I will say is that it is the best Chinese food I have ever had here in Orange County. I recommend it and the only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because the owner treated the waiter who was serving us very badly and I am so sorry to hear how I also scolded him that the waiter is very good even though he is an older man.
