Havent been here for too long. Wont wait to go back. Food was delicious! Choices are daunting! Italian sausage and meat was spectacular! Even the Cole slaw has a bite! Roy does a great job at providing great fare and some killer entertainment. Its like a meal and a floor show. BTW, dont ask if he has any P Diddy in his play list!!

Wow, what great people! The friendly greeting and awesome service is complimented with some really, really good BBQ and dogs! Great menu, great food. The chocolate malt is amazing, a perfect dip for the crisp hot crinkle cut French fries. Great dogs, and again, great service. Thank you Sara for making our fist time in the first of many. I cant wait to bring friends a family here!

AWESOME PLACE!!!! Friend Ed introduced me. We had the combo of Chicago hot dog and Chicago beef sandwich. AMAZING!!! The dog was loaded with fresh vegetables, the sandwich dripping with juice. Quite the experience. Dont wear nice clothes to this place or you might get messy. The only way to eat the sandwich is straight Caveman. Its a mess and so worth it.The gorgeous young lady taking orders was so polite, prompt and professional. This place high-end. Go when youre hungry.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! 🌭🥪🥤👍

Awesome little hidden hot dog/bbq spot. I had the Chilli cheese fries with smoked brisket on top and a delicious cheese cake shake. 100% recommend eating inside! Also try the Mac and cheese balls!

We drove here after Pumpkin Patch,ordered garlic fries which is really good and then we ordered mac and cheese ball for my kid but its a bit spicy for her and its only 1 round pc.We also tried the chili dog and reuben sandwich.I was expecting of a fresh off the grill bbq ribs but the full baby back ribs was serve to us it taste like it was baked and just reheat a bit,because when its was serve to us the bbq ribs was not even warm to touch..

Super fun, casual environment. Sausage sandwiches, hot dogs of all shapes and sizes, and Italian beef and pastrami sandwiches. This place is SO cool. It is a giant cattle auction grounds that has chicago hot dogs, roast beef, milkshakes, etc. The area was very interesting - when we went there was no auction going on but you could see all of the holding areas as well as cows out in the fields. There are a few tables outside as well as about 12-15 tables indoors. There are bathrooms, and the place is wheelchair accessible. The staff was kind and attentive, and the food was great!

Probably my favorite hot dog place, that included the coveted criff dog in St Marks place NYC. I love that this place is in the middle of no where andthe unique decor. The hot dogs are top notch, great flavors. I even appreciate the RC cola, brings back childhood memories. Everything is tasty and everything is of good quality

Being a Chicagoan, I just had to go check this place out after hearing about it. I drove 30+ minutes to get there. I was willing to overlook the gruff location and exterior....if it meant I could get a REAL Chicago dog or an authentic Italian Beef sandwich. When I walked in, I wasnt sure where or how to order, as it was set up like a very small diner more than a take-out place. There were only 2 people working and maybe 5 or 6 customers there. So I stood at the front, waiting for some instruction on where to sit or how to order. I watched what was a mostly unorganized and unfriendly environment. The 2 women working looked scattered and unhappy. Interestingly, there was little girl, maybe about 9 years old, who was sitting at the counter and was running credit cards for the woman waiting on tables. Seriously?! Then of course, she had a problem with a credit card and the woman / employee stopped what she was doing to assist her. I assume she was the daughter of one of the 2 women working. I couldnt quite believe what I was seeing...but it was like watching a train wreck and I couldnt stop watching. After at least 6 or 7 minutes, neither woman had even acknowledged me standing there nor made eye contact. I was thinking that even if I wanted to stay, it looked like it would probably be at least a half hour before I could get a hot dog? So I turned and walked out. I guess Ill have to wait for my next trip to Chicago to get a good hot dog or Italian beef. This was a big ZERO waste of time. 🙁

Only place to get an Italian Beef in Cali unless you want to drive 7 hours to LA to get Portillos.These guys use the real stuff. Vienna beef. Chicago dogs are on point and the beef always satisfies my cravings.Thank you for creating such an amazing business. More people need to understand how tasty Italian beef is. The hot dogs are to die for, the best hit dog I have ever had. The Italian dip was good but as good as the hotdog bit still worth trying. Dont order it wet the bun gets to wet get the juice on the side and dip it yourself. Ordered the breaded Mac and cheese ball with Buffalo sauce, it was still cold in the middle was pretty dissatisfied but I didnt say anything didnt want to make a big deal out of it. Love the inside of this place and the blues music that is played. Kind of expensive for hotdogs and when you get the basket of fries added on about 20$ a person with a drink. Also orderd the cheese dog and you would think the cheese would come melted on top of the dog but its cold shredded cheese just piled on.

Extremely friendly staff. Lots of interesting choices on the menu. I chose the brisket sandwich as I can never skip a bbq brisket. It was delicious. Maybe a bit light on smoke flavor, but delicious nonetheless. It was very tender and moist. Definitely have to come back.

Took the long way round to get there, could hear the cattle in the background, and the snap of that hotdog accross the table from my wife was music to my ears! The Chicago dog was just...a straight up Chicago dog. The Italian beef sandwich just melted in my mouth, with a spectacular dip I woukd drink with a straw....Round it out with fry sauce for the crinkle cut fries.. just a nice lunch. A throwback charm in barn setting with some excellent food. Chicago dog and Italian Beef sandwich are legit. They had ribs and brisket the last time we visited - the ribs were the best Ive had in a long time. The brisket was excellent, though not Texas style, but would have preferred dry rub instead wet sauce which works beautifully with the ribs. The fried mac and cheese was really good too.noticed that the fries and onion rings are pre-frozen. . .nonetheless, very well fried and were excellent too.

This place has an outdoor seating area that is mostly a gravel parking lot. I wasnt expecting much from the first impression, but was happily surprised when the food arrived. I got the Chicago Dog, but they have many other offerings and sides include fries, coleslaw, etc. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Dont pass it up if youre in the area.

We were so excited to stop here and eat some good food. The Italian beef was good, the hotdogs were okay but it was the staff that I found rude and unprofessional. Slamming things and making rude comments while prepping. If my husband and son werent really excited about the food I would have walked out and gave my business somewhere else. I really wanted to like this place, but sometimes the service will make or break you.

Dropped by Roys today after driving by for years, always saying I need to stop in there. I am glad that I did. I had the Chicago dog- Fabulous. It was hot, delicious, all those great flavors pop in your mouth. Divey but just fun and the way a place like this should be. Good food. Beef brisket sandwich and fries came out to $22, which seems high in comparison to other menu items. Visited in August where there were several picnic tables available for outdoor eating. Agriculture setting so it’s not unusual to see flies around.

The Chicago dogs are A W E S O M E... The cheese dogs, while made with the right bread and Vienna beef dogs, the creamy cheese a true Chicagoan would be expecting on the cheese dog, is not creamy- its shredded cheese. With that being said, a few seconds in the microwave melts it right up, and no one is any wiser. This place is a staple, I never want it to leave, and I will continue to eat here often!

Food was 5 star. The brisquit in my sandwich was some of the best Ive ever had. I can give the food 5 stars without a thought. The facilities is why I couldnt give it an over all 5 star....but on that note it was cool. I felt like I was blasted back to 1970 something. *which is a good thing to me, but probably not everyone.

Unlike most restaurants in Petaluma this place isnt over priced and fancy. Food is very down home. Various hot dogs and sandwiches. My favorite is the chili cheese dog with chili cheese fries. Drool! And the prices are right.This place is small, seating is limited. Nothing fancy at all about the location or interior. But thats what I really dig. Definitely worth a try. Vegetarians need not apply.

One of the great landmarks of local Petaluma. My favorite - the Navid and a basket of garlic pesto fries. Chris is always ready with his opinions about just anything 😉 and is a load of fun to chat with. The ladies have changed out over the years, but Chris keeps hiring really pleasant staff.

Was a big fan of the hot pastrami..... but in recent visits i have found this sando to be very unhealthy and rather plain. just cant do it anymore guys. Not to mention that I called in my sandwich and then 15 minutes later showed up and they havent even started it nor were they very busy.

Roys is where you go for a hotdog. Instead of fancy sausages or appetizers, Roys focuses on doing something simple, and doing it well. If you dont mind getting your shoes dirty youll love the venue, smack in the middle of an active (on Mondays) cattle auction yard.
