2023-11-11 06:14:49I was here because my friends celebrated my birthday here. This was my first time at this restaurant. A very elite fine dining place. We made a reservation for 7 pm since they close by 9 pm and it was a weekday too. The server Luis was really very helpful, nice and courteous. We were seated as soon as we came in and we were given the drinks menu. I ordered a glass of Cabernet Red wine. We were so hungry that we didnt order appetizers instead we ordered entre. I ordered blackened salmon. The food was delicious and enough to satisfy yet not too full. We all enjoyed Luis service, his suggestions, and later he brought a mouse cake slice with a candle which sparkles bright and when you blow it, it will go and suddenly light back. We enjoyed the entire experience here right from getting into getting out. We took pictures as there are so many props and places to take a picture. We were done before nine and hence we went out when one of my friends came with a cake. Luis was so nice he gave us a few plates with spoons and candles for the cake. It was an amazing experience, good food and the ambience was perfect for the occasion. I will recommend this place for special occasions.

2023-08-18 18:44:54Great cocktails!!!!! We reached here pretty late, like 20 minutes before closing time. Staff was nice to seat us and order drinks only as the kitchen closes at 9:30. Every drink we ordered was amazing and beautiful at the same time. They have varied menu choices including non-alcoholic drinks. Espresso martini was the best one, and a must order if you are a coffee lover like me.The place itself is aesthetically well done. Love the outside cozy seating area centered around a well lit tree. Equally awesome place for girls nightout or a fun casual night with friends!!!!

2023-11-06 18:31:02Seen this place from IG: brought my friend here for her birthday. I was not able to make any reservations online. Celebrating my friends bday we did not get a free desert here. Service was good; our waiter was really fast and helpful.Food was good. I would say it’s Asian fusion even the pasta.

2023-09-16 21:15:49What my wife and I had was an absolutely, incredible evening at Rubys and Roses for our 34 year wedding anniversary!! First of all, we were welcomed by the most friendly host staff, who greeted us in a very sincere way!! Every point of entry is absolutely brilliant, with lovely photo opportunities at each location. We were more than thankful that we chose this Restaurant!! We cherished the ambience, wonderful service, and the extremely delicious food. Our server Diego, was welcoming, very friendly, and so knowledgeable and helpful, as we inquired about the menu. He did not miss a beat throughout our meal. He was simply wonderful!! We started with the oysters, which were flavorful, seasoned perfect and delightful in taste. My wife had the Beef Wellington, which she said was so savory and delicious . I had the spicy cioppino, loaded with Mussels, succulent jumbo prawns, cooked to perfection, along with pieces of delectable salmon in a mouth watering taragon broth. This was accompanied by immense flavored squid ink pasta which was delectable!!.We both took food home. The Portions were very generous! Paola, who delivered our food, was also very engaging throughout our meal and she really made us feel welcome. We can not wait to visit again! We really want to thank the owners, and their staff for a phenomenal evening. It was world class ambience, food, and service! Thank you for making our night Special in so many ways!!! We cant wait to see you again very soon!Sincerely,Kevin

2023-05-31 20:31:07Lovely place for brunch or lunch. Very nicely decorated throughout. Many opportunities for great photos. Servers were attentive and friendly. Drinks were creative and tasty, not too strong. My friend ordered their non alcoholic drink and commented that it actually tasted as if there was alcohol. I was slightly disappointed in the flavors of some of the food options, which is why I rated 4 stars. We ordered mostly from the starter menu with one entree. They were out of the bone marrow dish, such a bummer! The garlic lover starter was definitely my favorite. I just wish the garlic was spreadable but I was fine to eat it whole. The garlic wasnt overpowering I wasnt left with garlic breath. The curry style mussels were another favorite really great taste. The bao sliders I would not recommend. While the plating was nice, they were overly salty. They also packed in flavor. There were bell peppers and greens but absolutely no taste to them just a huge salt bomb. Im not a fan of jambalaya but I would absolutely order this dish again. It paired really well with pasta versus rice. There was also a spice to it that we were not expecting. We ended with the moulted chocolate cake and lotus cookie with ice cream. Both desserts were very delicious.Id recommend this place if youre in the area but would probably not go out of my way to visit. Although I may just have to visit again to try the bone marrow.

2023-05-08 16:23:26Perfect place to have lunch for mySisters bday! We arrived right as it opened on a Saturday. We walked in through the back parking lot which we found parking right away. The outside seating is shaded with partial sun and a great place to enjoy your meal during sprint and summer months. We were welcomed with the great staff, very professional, and welcoming. They definitely know how to serve customers and are very knowledgeable of the menu and drinks. Came by just enough to take ourOrder, serve us our food and drinks and to ask how we were doing, awesome customer service and very attentive.Food was delicious! The corn tamale ravioli was my favorite, but all the food, including the dessert we ordered were amazing. Must try!

2023-08-19 17:37:56Great place for dinner & drinks! Ive been dying to try this place since it caught my eye on Insta and was hoping it would be worth it. The cocktails are a MUST! The lychee one was my favorite! Tastes just like my favorite childhood jelly candy. The Sweet Nest with cotton candy on top was also yummy! You literally cant go wrong with their cocktails. For an entree I ordered the corn ravioli. It was so yummy! Ive never had anything like that before. It was Mexican street corn in ravioli form. The service was also excellent. Our waitress was super attentive. The floral decor was also super cute.I had to take off one star for the appetizers. DO NOT GET THE OYSTERS! They were not fresh at all. Literal pieces of the shell came off as we tried it.. It was not pleasant. The brussel sprouts were also not cooked through and difficult to eat. I would normally take off 2 stars for this but the drinks and entrees were so good. Just stay away from the appetizers...

2023-03-10 14:57:37Wow, what a treat for this beautiful downtown. Came here on a whim as they had a soft opening. From the moment we walked in to the time we left the service, experience and food / cocktails were spot on. The prices were not over the top. I am hoping this new establishment can maintain the quality, staff and prices.Almost every dish we had was tasty and creatively presented. Patty was our waitress and she gets 5 stars too. The decor inside and out was amazing. I can see during a warm evening the outside will be bustling.Keep up the great work!

2023-06-17 00:04:18Wow! I dont know if Pleasanton needed another restaurant downtown, but Ruby & Roses is a fantastic addition. We went for late afternoon lunch, my husband had a burger and I had beef wellington, both were delicious. We look forward to coming back.
