Visited on Monday night for ayce. It’s pretty chill, great customer service. However, there’re many items that we ordered didn’t come. For food quality, fish is fresh, but the sushi rice portion is too big (especially hand rolls) and is a little sweet and sticky that doesn’t go well with fish. Chicken katsu very thin and small, mushroom miso soup uses white mushroom but tastes uncooked😅😅

Stopped by for lunch after after a fun round of golf. We were seated promptly which was expected as they just opened 30 minutes before. Service was a bit slow even though not crowded. The food quality was good. All fish was fresh and flavorful. They have your standards and some rolls that were attempts to be more creative. The spider roll and the Alaska definite recommends. The chicken teriyaki roll - that missed the mark. Need to fire grill the chicken and and a bit more teriyaki sauce. The cucumber salad was ok, the poke salad left me unsatisfied. Overall a good place and value for all you can eat.

Delicious and amazing all you can eat sushi. There are many options for food with the all you can eat, including appetizers, a La carte items (chicken Katsu, chicken teriyaki, etc), desserts and of course, sushi. They have a great selection of premium sushi rolls that include plenty of spicy options. The sushi itself was absolutely delicious and some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. The server was very sweet and wanted to make sure we got our money’s worth for the all you can eat. Their miso soup was also very tasty. Absolutely would go back, and am sad I don’t live in proximity.

Really dope ambiance and vibe in the place. Big sushi bar. Problem I had was rolls are big but have too much rice. It’s good if you want a humongous and filling roll but not really optimized for taste or flavor. Definitely want to check out other menu items.

The service was awful. But the food was amazing. Best all you can eat sushi Ive ever had. Great selection. Even complained about the service halfway through and it still didnt improve. We were left waiting so long even after complaining that we almost gave up on paying the bill. Almost.

First time trying it, got a lunch box. The rolls were large and a very good size compared to other lunch bento boxes Ive had. The fish was fresh as well. Ill definitely be going back to try the specialty rolls next

So expensive for such tiny peices of fish. Parking lot is crowded. Exterior is dingy and entire structure looks worn down. Dont order the Special with the seafood tempura. Its not shrimp, scallop, etc. Its literally just battered fish.

All you can eat sushi pretty fair price with a large selection of rolls and appetizers. Amazingly they even had keto options for the sushi rolls which was a first for me, but delicious. I came here for the second time to see if the service was better than the first time, and it was so much better the staff was friendly and attentive despite the fact they were packed full of people this will be my new place to eat sushi definitely a must try.

Really enjoyed my meal, 2nd time coming here.Dinner hour during the week is less busy compared to the weekend(obviously)2 bento box & 2 all you can eat .We had 2 rounds of sushi but our 2nd round was confused with our 1st, we tried to let staff know right away so no products were wasted in the process.The staff was awesome, very friendly, & accommodating

Ive come here often as the food quality and ratio of rice to sashimi was pretty good. It appears that they recently changed management and have increased their prices as well as decreased in food quality. Prior times Ive been here if I left any sushi rice (small amounts of course) they wouldnt say anything. This time I left 1/4 of 1 piece of sushi (literally smaller than the size of the tip of my pinky finger) and the Korean female manager said she will charge me if I do the same thing next round. I have attached a photo of the Philly cheese roll. As you can see if was pretty much all cream cheese. You couldnt even taste any salmon at all. Furthermore, I asked for smoked salmon on my first round and they didnt have any. I believe that that shouldve been posted somewhere in the front if they are out of a certain fish because I wouldnt have dined there had I known. I also couldnt differentiate between the salmon belly and regular salmon just by taste or quality like I was able to before. Also, usually when the server would bring my plate they would tell me which sashimi or roll was which. This time however they just dropped the plate and left without a single word. My pepsi was also watered down to where I tasted more water than I did pepsi, not to mention the cup was 3/4 full of water. During the time I was there, it appeared to be at the same time as 2 of their regular parties as the Korean manager said, oh you didnt get your regular. During the entire time I was there they would check in on them constantly leaving the rest of us alone for quite some time. After this experience and my last one that I didnt leave a review for (our sushi still had ice on it when it reached our table) my family and friends will no longer be returning to this establishment.

Their Philadelphia roll is 90% cream cheese and that much salmon on the chopstick that I removed from another piece of the roll. I dont know about them but I cant eat what is essentially just spoonfuls of cream cheese. Not the first time Ive had issues here, but it is the last. Go literally anywhere else.

Second time here and everything was as fantastic as the first time. For a full house all this came out in under 10 minutes at proper temps, happily shocked would be a slight understatement. The perfect amount of sauce was used for each dish to support but not overpower. Flavors were on point and highly satisfying. Even our two year old took a break from her special chicken nuggets (Chicken Katsu) to try mamas sushi and liked it.Service was excellent, Mark took good care of us with prompt refills while not being around too much. Out of all the other sushi spots in the area we have stumbled into this is our favorite. Will definitely be back more often

With a recommendation from a customer wife and I decided to try this placewe came here at 1130am at open. On a wednesday, it gets pretty busy pretty quickly.ordered:spider rolls that came with sushi and miso soupDon katsu with spicy tuna rolls.1 dollar beer special - 2 soporosSushi, sashimi and nigiri orders came out very quickly with good quantity for the price.Don katsu took 50 minutes and came out cold. I assume the dish was forgotten. I had to have them remake it. Which then took 10-15 minutes.It tasted good but the happy feeling was overcome by wasted time.With only 2 servers this place was difficult to get a second beer and paying took a while.Overall this place is clean and nice but the lack of servers really deteriorates the mood. It sucks when everyone else is done eating and you dont even have a plate.Id say try this place if you like food and have a ton of patience3 stars for Rumble Fish Sushi. Mostly due to lack of service

Awful. Id give minus stars if possible. Sushi was not made by experienced sushi chefs. Some of the fish was definitely NOT fresh. Salmon roe was mealy, amai ebi was not served fresh. I got violently ill within 30 minutes.

Service is great. When ordering(online or in store) sometimes the order gets mixed up. You will receive a different toll than you ordered. The place is clean. Courteous staff and understanding. During Covid, there isnt much outside seating so you may have to wait, but definitely worth it. Fresh and yummy fish, food is good quality for the price. Recommend to others! Especially when you have a craving for sushi and want good quality but not spend so much on it

Today was no exception with not a so friendly waitress and long wait times between AYCE rounds. Food wise? We have been to this place a few times for AYCE and are usually pretty pleased. Im not sure what happened but it seems there are different people working there from when we started going. They have a sign out front that asks you to be patient with them as there is a food shortage and they are short staffed but to me it seemed they were fully staffed today. Upon arrival the place was pretty empty but they sat us right by another family, I should probably have just asked for a different table. During our lunch visit we experienced a diminished quality in food and service. Our check was brought to us before we had even received our final round of food, then as we waited for our final round of food they kept asking us if the bill was ready, we hid it so they would stop coming by. There was a woman with a notepad who kept going around to all the occupied tables looking at them and writing something down. She paused in front of each tablewatching for a few second it actually got a little uncomfortable. They tried to clear plates we were still eating from which is funny because they say they will charge if you dont finish your AYCE food. Some sushi rolls were falling apart with a lower quality of sushi than what we have been served there over the past several months. Desert is part of their AYCE and they brought our ice cream out before the rest of our food which took quite a while. After we got the last of our food but still needed a napkin I saw our waitress leave, she did not come back and we never got the napkin but as soon as we put our payment in the folder someone showed right up. There were a lot of little flies that kept flying by us as we ate. It wasnt just one thing that went wrong. The staff lacked etiquette and the food quality was not up to my standard. A food shortage has nothing to do with how the rolls are constructed. If I was rating with only today in mind it would be a 1 star. Something else intersting to mention is that they let you order three rounds for all you can eat but certain foods are restricted to only certain rounds and there are limits on those foods. The three stars are for memories of past visits with the incredibly nice server they used to have and the rolls that were perfection.

This is a great spot in the Upland/Montclair area for all-you-can-eat sushi! Everything looks great! And it tastes even better! Not to mention they have good portions and a little bit of variety as far as sushi spots go. Also, the cost is not too bad, about what you would expect.... Come by and see for yourself! Had some friends suggest it. Came to this spot and thought I did something wrong, or that my friends didnt like me? The sushi broke apart so easily, they brought out the appetizers after we had finished our meals, and they forgot to bring 2 items twice in a row. I felt like I was eating recycled sushi, or grocery store equivalent. The helper never came back, we had to ask someone else to bring what was missing, they didnt come back either; so we just asked for the check and left. The service and food were low grade.

I visited this restaurant for the first time today at my daughters recommendation. My grands are obsessed with sushi, so we search for an affordable, comfortable restaurant. Rumble Fish offers an all you can eat sushi option, or regular menu which provides more food than most can consume in one setting. Also varied and reasonably priced is the drink menu offering a selection of wines, beers and I believe other cocktails. The sushi was delicious, and the service was great, all at a very good price. Im already looking forward to my next visit to Rumble Fish! This restaurant is highly recommended!

This place is awesome. The restaurant is surprisingly spacious. They have AYCE with wide selections to choose from. If you want a la cart, you can also get that as well. What?!? They have $1 SAPPORO Japanese beer. Ridiculous! Ridiculously good for me. The waiters are also very friendly. He was making recommendations on the most popular dishes to try. All the dishes we got were all delicious. The parking is plenty, easy in and out. I have visited this place 3 times already, and every time I go, I like it more and more and more.

We’ve been giving this place second chances for years now for one reason only, the food is excellent.The service though, every time we leave having spent an hour longer than anticipated because of wait staff with forgetful tendencies and bad attitudes.Was there last night celebrating nephews birthday and was initially told by staff with a sigh “we’ll have to push two tables together for your large party (4 adults, 2 kids)” okay... why is that my problem? 🤷🏻‍♀️Gave our orders, never received drink refills the entire 3 hours there, waited more than 30 min for half of our table to be served. 15 more minutes and two more dishes trickled in. 15 more minutes and I was told the kitchen hadn’t finished the toppings for my rolls yet (California roll, which has no toppings, and an angry lobster) finally received my lobster roll and had to ask for a fifth time for my California roll. The entire time we were serviced by four different employees and two consistently met us with terrible attitudes and eye rolls. Is this how waitstaff expect to get good tips nowadays? A sincere apology without an eye roll would have been appreciated.

Excellent Restaurant! I have not a single complaint about this establishment. They serve very fresh and flavorful sushi and sushami dishes here that are all worth trying. It is very well maintained and is always very well presented. Cleanliness has not yet been a concern for me while dining here. This is a place I enjoy very much and does have my recommendation.

Been here many times for takeout for ayce. Food is great but make sure you check the orders for accuracy. Came in for dinner and was told the wait it about 30 mins at 7:45. I was told at 8:30 my table was ready then was given to someone else. I was told if a table will be available that it was no ayce. They said they close at 9 and last cal at 8:45 but at 9:50 a customer ordered more food. I had no choice to order take out after waiting 1 hour. Waited another 20 mins. Manager could not even have the time to talk to me.

My husband and I used to love this place... but my, has it went down hill! First and foremost the prices have went mad up but seeing how I wanted some AYCE sushi, that we havent gotten in a while I was willing to pay. We came in and they have bottles of beers posted up with the price firmly in view, 6.50 for the large beers, Im thinking cool, thats about normal. We go in and are promptly seated and start ordering. Food is good but... I put on not one but two orders for miso soup... soup never came. Ok whatever. My husband then asked directly for the soup even though it was marked off twice that we ordered it, we never got it (no soup for you! Right?) Finally they bring it and it is at best luke warm, and thats me being nice. During our second round my husband and I are eating the sushi rolls and I quite literally had to spit a piece in my napkin because the bottom straight up tasted like SOAP! I almost threw up! My husband at first doesnt notice anything but at last, he came to the middle of the plate ( where I had ate) and he did the same thing! Spit put the roll because in his words something doesnt taste right . When brought to the waitress attention she said everything is washed in a dish washer so nothing should be wrong with the plate... something obviously was! Gross! That during a pandemic (even an ending one) is alarming because Im drinking out of glasses that other people have previously used! I was gonna let it go but heres the real kicker. The 6.50 beers we ordered three of... came out to 25.50 on our check. When mentioned to what I assume was the manager on duty she proclaims the prices went up! Hello, when I came in, the prices on the bottles CLEARLY said 6.50. She said that was a mistake and went and scratched off the prices on the bottles in the front and gave us the new menu putting them at 8.50 and bottle and that was NOT the menu we were given to order off of. If it is advertised as one price, we should be charged that price (false advertising) even if its a mistake, period. But she decided NOT to honor that. As I said previously this used to be our favorite sushi spot, it no longer is as we are severely disappointed. They need to step it up and be like a they were before or surely they will be out of business soon. What a joke they are now! Ridiculous! I dont think well be back. Ive never been treated this way at a sushi joint. Ill take my business elsewhere if thats how it is. At least I wont be eating DISH SOAP! *VOMIT*

I absolutely love coming here with my girlfriend, it’s our go-to sushi restaurant. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, they always deliver superb service (Joyce and Lisa are the best) If you’re like me and you like rolls I highly recommend trying the Jessica, tiger, and caterpillar rolls (crunch and obviously California rolls are good too) make sure you get spicy mayo and eel sauce! great setting with good music too. Their prices are honestly the best that I’ve personally seen so there’s that too.

Horrible service. Sushi had too much rice. We were the third party waiting to be seated when they opened and it took them 20 minutes to seat us. Asked to get fountain soda instead of a canned soda and this apparently upset our waitress that she had to express herself with a huge sigh right in front of our faces. It took them AN HOUR AND A HALF to get our complete first round to us. I didnt want to stay another hour so we didnt bother for another round of food so we ordered ice cream and asked for the bill. Bill came right away OF COURSE, never got ice cream. So much for AYCE.

Usually fresher and than at most sushi restaurants. But it doesnt compare with Kishi in Upland. The choices just arent that rich or interesting. Decor is adequate. Service is pleasant. Even if you dont choose the all you can option, the full lunches are huge and priced less. Unless you eat huge quantities, it does not pay to choose a dinner or weekend all-you-can-eat-option.

The best place to go if you miss the weekday lunch rush. They have happy hour prices that are not much more than the lunch prices. The sushi pieces are a great mix of rice and fish. The rolls are comparable to any where else you would go. I cant think of a special roll they have that makes me want to go here compared to somewhere else.

The all you can eat lunch special is only $17.99 which is hard to beat. The sushi quality is average and some of the rolls (especially the angry lobster roll) are not good at all. The waiters are pretty nice but service gets slow if the chefs are busy so be prepared to wait.

Came here with the girls after work on a Tuesday and it was delicious ! We had the AYCE and there were so many good rolls ! They even have several new options that have no rice for the low carb lovers out there 😉 they did have some beer specials I believe it was dollar beers. I wish I could remember the sushi chefs name because he was amazing. We told him some of the fish we like and he made rolls for us. We got all you can eat and they kept missing one or two of our orders for each round. We were down right shocked that he even thought that was okay. Dirty dishes that had other foods and peoples dirty hands touching them came in contact with that plate of food you just pulled out you really think we want that now? Yeah we waited a long time for them but did he really think that was okay?! The salmon was overcooked, hard, and flavorless. The salmon didnt even taste like salmon. The teriyaki was also flavorless. They give you two entire portions of rice, which is a lot. I have been going there for many years and always enjoyed my food very much. But last night was different... so as my husband and I enterred we immediately noticed new faces and actually asked what was going on. and found out they are under new ownership. Only one of my 2 favorite waitress were there and everyone else was new...waitress, hostess and all new cooks/sushi chef. Well I thought this happens all the time and things dont change that much right...wrong.I ordered my usual ANGRY LOBSTER and they must have changed the recipe (sauce is not the same, different taste entirely). As I took my first bite I noticed a quite a few crunchy parts, well I just chalked it up to lobster shells not being properly removed. However, by the 3rd bite I had to stop because the shells were now the size of a half pinky nail had pierced the roof of my mouth.The two waitresses were very apologetic however the hostess stopped coming around checking to see how things were going (SMH) I only assume she was an owner. Overall Im very sad...one of my favorite places to eat but unfortunately I wont be go back any time soon.

Tried sushi for the first time. California roll was pretty good and had a Bento Box teriyaki chicken teriyaki beef the salad was really awesome next time I might just get salad. Trump 2020
