Oh, you want authentic? Yeah, this place is it! Tia (aunt) makes all the food from scratch the RIGHT way. Nothing is rushed. The meat is so crazy tender it will make you sad when you get home and realize your can’t do it the same way. The Birria is perfect. The carnitas are so juicy! Everything about this little spot is perfect. Try the horchata - it’s just the right thickness to sweetness ratio!10/10 cannot recommend it enough!

You have to know where to look to find this place. You need to understandthe the culture a little bit aswell and you will feel at home. The food is about as authentic as youll find on this side of the boarder. This is my go to place when ever Im in the area... (like once a month) today I had the chivo with rice and beans. It was really juicy and good👌 I enjoyed a cold, refreshing cup of watermelon juice too . my son got the torta de asda and he loved it as well. We look forward to coming back.

Literally a hole in the wall, not the best looking place but to be honest food was amazing. The Doña that took our order also made the food, took a minute but was worth it. I ordered a Torta de Milanesa, 1 Taco de Carne Asada and 1 Taco de Lengua, which all 3 were very delicious, definitely would recommend to eat at this spot, feels like your Tia or Abuelita is making the food, authentic Mexican Food.CASH ONLY!!!! You bring cash or go to the corner Donut Shop for the ATM

Been here twice now when I visit home. Lived in SD for 21 years and had Mexican all over. This is by far the best and most authentic around. Really sweet lady that does everything herself. Pretty small spot so not for big groups. Would recommend this spot over any other

3 rolled tacos with guacamole .. Not too good here.. I think I got sick from these here.. looks like they have good soups tho..?? They Dont have your regular 3 rolled tacos with guacamole here..

This place is authentic! I was able to get my order through by remembering some high-school Spanish. I ordered the lengua tacos and a chile rellano. Both were amazing! Highly recommend this place for authentic food! I will be back, and will absolutely recommend! Ive been searching for the best lengua tacos around here, and I will just come here now.

Love the food. The place is so not fancy but the food is so good. I had the carnitas plate, carnitas tacos and pescado taco. also grab a rice milk pudding( arroz con leche) from the refrigerator.

Tiny maybe no more than 5-table restaurant with homemade food that is the BEST EVER! Don’t come with a crowd because there’s one cook who’s also the waitress, but holy Moses, if you want incredible leave-you-satisfied authentic Mexican food, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to the Big Man himself.

Savrosos Tacos has some of the best tasting tacos. The meat is very juicy, well seasoned and extremely flavorful. The sauce and toppings where very fresh. These tacos are on the wet side which I prefer, grab some napkins. They have some of the best prices in town.
