I will most likely change my star rating next time I go.I got the teriyaki chicken and tempura box.Teriyaki chicken just didnt have enough flavor for me. BUT the tempura was amazing!! The asparagus tempura was so so tummy. But so was the broccoli, shrimp and sweet potatoe!!They were serving the sizzling bibimbab plates that smelt amazing!! Cant wait to go back! Service was friendly and quick! I love how busy they were!! Great local spot 🥰

Food was good enough but since there was only one person attending tables and in charge of register it took a while for food to be served, even tho place was not very full (only big party as us was a group of ladies that were done when we arrived but overstayed chatting, the other 3 tables were of 2 person seated and their food was already served), it was 7 on our table and we got 5 forks and 4 napkins, we asked for chopsticks instead but they only gave us 4 so, some of us got to use forks and the rest used chopsticks but we had to go get more napkins from upfront (they sat us in the back room), also one of the tea cups was dirty inside. The friends we were with, told us it used to be an excellent service and the food was delicious but this time was just OK for them, food portions and price were reasonable but since I was really hungry my plate felt good to me but not to them who already knew the place. Hope they manage to get more employees to recuperate their prestige.

Ive been going here for about 20 years now and have never been disappointed. I absolutely recommend the sesame chicken. Also, they have the best teriyaki sauce around, which they sell in case you want to take some home with you.

Amazing place! I ordered the sesame chicken with tempura and everything was perfect. The tempura was lightly battered, but perfect amount of crisp. The sesame chicken was the right amount of saltiness, juiciness, and breading. Even the rice was well cooked! I can see why an establishment like them has been in the restaurant business for a while. If youre ever around there, give them a shot! It is located in an unassuming area, but definitely is worth visiting.

Nice, small, clean restaurant. Service was fast, which is always a plus. I didnt take any photos this round but the spicy pork was good. My tolerance may be high for spicy but I didnt feel any kind of spice to it. However, the flavor was on point. Yes, I would come back.

Great food! Ive been eating here over the past 17 years and the taste and quality remains. The owners are a very nice couple that enjoys family and friends. They take pictures of customers celebrations and every day lunch goers and put them on the walls, displaying joy & happiness. The customer service is excellent. The waiter /waitresses address your requests with a smile. My favorite dish is Sesame seed chicken, teriyaki chicken and tempura. Excellent flavor! Im very happy to share my dining experience with everyone. Maybe you should stop in and say hello. Enjoy!

The best, honestly I have moved to CG in the last few years and have heard so many great things about this restaurant. On my 3rd trip I feel comfortable saying this is some of the best food I have had in a long time. I love there options and there boxes. I hope this restaurant last another 30 years!

Food was hot, fresh, delicious, and inexpensive! I would definitely come back. Definitely recommend! I had the stir fried veggies with beef, I would get again for sure! Want to try some of the other offerings, definitely like the Korean dishes, they are very tasty!

Total fail. Ordered Deluxe Box, website says 12.95 it was 15.95 at the restaurant.(ok sure prices change, but thats a huge difference pls update your site) They omitted the dumplings, the chicken was so bland and you couldnt tell the difference between the teraki or the sesame. Waste of money.

The hot food here is always cooked perfectly and the salads are consistently fresh and delicious (the salmon is my favorite). Young greets each arriving customer and makes you feel welcome and comfortable.

I ordered to go a beef #21 (stir fry) they made all veggie, they wanted to remake with beef in and charge me for both entrees and then wanted to just add the beef as a side for $7.00 dollars more, so compare to what I should have paid it was $7.00 to add the beef, and does not like to give receipts to customers, I will not be going back and I will let my County co-workers know what they did, they messed up and I had to pay the price. There customer service is poor I would not recommend to anyone. If I could I wont even give them a star.

1st time for me but my daughter loves their teriyaki box so this her go to place. I tried the chicken noodles since i wanted something similar to stir fry and it was very good with udon noodles, chicken, and veggies with a yummy sauce. Kinda of an odd parking situation but worth it and reasonably priced.

I would give zero stars they stole my money entered a $10 when given a $20 denied this and refused to correct the issue. DO NOT GO HEREUpdate we went back there and they gave us the correct change. The foog was good as well, now that the nerves have settled update to 3 stars for the transaction

A happy customer since the mid-90s, I cant say enough about this restaurant. Two words = sesame chicken. There is NO PLACE that does it better. Crisp, delicious, and their sauce (which is in bottles on the tables, not in the box drowning the chicken) is exquisite. Jeung is a warm motherly presence in the restaurant, and weve held most of our family events in the back room. Wedding parties, birthdays, etc. Tell them Tracy sent you.

Im a regular here. Very deceiving from the outside. The food is unreal. The tempura jalapenos are incredible. So delicate and delicious. The sizzling beef bimimbab is also another serious go to.

This place is a little hidden gem that has been around for years. It may look small and divey but its worth a visit. Yes the bibimbap is great s the other reviewer said...I almost always get that and their potstickets or their bbq beef short ribs which are also good. Today, I tried their Korean Spicy Ramen and it was yummy!! Steamy with great flavor, packed with a variety of veggies and chicken (that you can taste!) plus a few hidden potstickers. Service is always friendly and appreciative of your business. Tip: VERY limited parking in front but there is more parking if you go behind the building.

Top notch local spot. Its ostensibly a teriyaki joint with all the standard varieties of bento boxes, soba dishes, and tempura. I would put their bento boxes up against any others in Sacramento and at a great value on top on that, but dont sleep on the Korean offerings! Their bibimbap is a 10/10 in my book. The locale isnt fancy, but the food is extremely high quality and consistently good.

Very good teriyaki but try the sizzling hot bibimbop. I am unsure why the others say the service here is subpar or they have had a bad experience. I have experienced the exact opposite, the staff are always friendly and inviting.
