Most of the shelves are empty at least 5 out of 7days. Many things are dented and broken. Deli food looks old and not fresh. This store is overpriced for the quality. Produce only last 4 to 5 days at home. Some of the produce is rotten at the store. Employees are not very friendly and seem preoccupied with other things.

I loved this Safeway till Omar the cashier started to work here (hasn’t been no more than a few months). Everyone is always really nice, but he’s just very different. Doesn’t greet, and if you mention to him that the price says otherwise on the floor he make a big fiasco out of it. Leave his station, rips the tag off the floor and calls a manager and notifies them the price is incorrect and still end up making me pay regular price! Even tho it’s not my fault the price is wrong on the floor! This is my second time going to a register with him there with the same interaction! I will be going to Waterman’s Blvd from here on out!

Every time I’ve come shopping and I’ve stood in Jazmyne line she has been an absolute pleasure! The way she is able to talk with every guest and really make everbody feel like their important. listening to her make a situation where a customers item broke and the way she spoke to the guest who was visibly annoyed, she descalated that situation in a way I’ve never witness . speaking with such emotional intelligence. She should definitely be a manager. I wish I could come give her a bonus myself. Go jazmyne! & she was obviously raised right so it’s nice to see quality people in this town working in our local stores .

Its a nice store in a nice location. There are plenty of options and has the deli and bakery. This location seems a bit bigger than the other store on the other side of Fairfield. Didnt find what I wanted. But I would go back on occasion while living in the area.

Very nice Safeway. I stop by here every time I go from Sacramento to my home in SF Bay Area. I like that people working here are very nice. Its always clean in order. Very very nice flower department. Everything is nice here. I wanted to recommend this one. Thank you for doing a great job!

I really liked shopping here, but then recently they blocked off the most convenient entrance/exit doors. So now we all have to enter and exit through the same door. Adding to this, theres now a massive metal gate across the entire interior front end of the store. I get that theres probably a security issue going on, but this is totally overkill, and I had issues checking out through the self checkout. One of the main ones was the fact that the areas are so narrow now, that if one customer is having some kind of trouble, everyone behind them has to wait. The narrow grocery aisles are bad enough. Flow of carts in the front end is going to make the entire store a nightmare during busy times.

Do not buy your turkey here I bought several I came home and the turkeys ribs were broke and mini bones everyware inside no fixing it . Shattered we tried to rinse them but no, all 4 signature select !!! These turkey were so abused beforethey were prepared and sold to Safeway it’s so sad.Happy thanksgiving 🦃Be careful please .

It loses a star because of the location. Staff are nice and everything is stocked well. Its just placed on a precarious corner overlooking I-680 ramps so traffic bottlenecks often.The location is decent enough for business since you get more eyeballs on it from interstate travellers, but it can get stressful getting into that shopping center.

This Safeway seems to be well managed. Displays and stock are organized and neat. The produce is fine. The deli is well run. You pay generally higher prices but as a member and if you watch sale prices, you can score some great deals. I prefer the self checkout as we seldom buy that many items at one time

Very frustrated with the plant section. Was hoping to grab some Cactus or succulent plants but they were all dead or dying. Why bother having the plants if you aren’t going to water them? There were two workers in the department yet no one has the time to water them? Very disappointed

I went to pick up some meat because I noticed it was on sale through the online website. I ended up talking to a guy named Wes or West something along those lines. He is the butcher there, and he helped me out. He pointed me in the right direction and helped me pick some good seasonings. I would definitely recommend coming here since he was very helpful.

Safeway in Green Valley is great. I love their 5 dollar Friday sales. Customer service is great. Everyone always goes out of their way to help and I swear they make this best Birthday cakes. I like that they sale slices so you dont have too buy a whole cake when you get a sweet tooth.

Green Valley Safeway on Business Center in Fairfield Ca.The people of Green Valley and Cordelia, is a hard working community. The resident are people who mostly commute long distances to their jobs. We deserve a better community grocery store.This is the filthiest Safeway’s I have ever shopped in not only is it filthy. You have to look for your own cart. Their are very few carts in the parking lot or in the store.This Safeway store needs better Management. Many of the products on the shelves / cases, are near expiration. Most of the milk products are also near expiration. When you walk in the front door you can smell fish from the sea food and meat section.Produce cases are dirty. I stopped by to pick up some ice cream, the freezer door was broken with tape and cardboard holding it together. The ice cream had frozen crystal on the tops of the ice cream containers, not healthy.Looks like the Green Valley Safeway’s store is receiving the leftover’s from the San Roman and Danville stores.The Green Valley Safeway store is the closest supper market to me, but I rarely shop there any more due to the afore mentioned items. I’d rather drive a little further and pay a little more to get quality products at Raley’s, The Nuggets,Trader Joe’s. Most people in my community fill the same way.

I just wanted to take some time out so show appreciation to Joey in the floral department. I came in and was greeted with positivity and kindness. I then proceeded to choose the flowers I wanted, and asked Joey to arrange them for me. They turned out lovely and my grandparents loved them for their 37th wedding anniversary. Thank you Joey !

This is one of my favorite locations.This Safeway is well kept, clean, and the staff is polite and helpful.When the buying frenzy happened, shelves were empty no more than two weeks. They have bounced back and continue to meet all of my needs.They also follow current distancing guidelines.I have been going here for the past two years and I have yet to have an unpleasant experience.

Starbucks closes before posted closing time; one person who is super slow. Merchandise is damaged or opened. Posted prices are not accurate at checkout. Does not honor the Safeway redeeming points. Thumbs down, I do not recommend this store.I found a Whole Foods store; it’s further away but beats this raggedy Safeway! Shame on the management here at Green Valley Safeway!!!

The worst Safeway Ive ever visited. Items in seasonal aisle are never in their correct spot. I bought a $3 chocolate bunny that ended up being $9.99. Then they would not even accept a return. Customer service cashier had taken over 10 minutes to arrive. Then I found out the store manager was actually only 3 feet away at self check out watching as I waited. Very disappointing.

Everything is way over priced so it appears when a sale happens we are getting a deal. Poor produce in taste, looks with bruising, wilted, squishy etc and very over priced. Always large crowds and few cashiers. Its cold inside almost every visit. The items are very limited and many things that were there have disappeared.For a nice neighborhood the ONE AND ONLY grocery store needs competition! Either step up to the plate or move over.

I ordered a cupcake cake for a soccer party to be decorated. I asked for basic decorations. I was horribly disappointed when I picked it. I’m actually embarrassed to bring it you our soccer party. I just uploaded pictures of the back of the bakery department and it’s because I USE to work here. It’s sad because I’ve never worked at a dirty bakery department like this one! These were pictures from about a year ago & I don’t know why I never uploaded them after wards, but my first day every cake in that case was expired at least a week old, everything was empty, the freezer had BAKED breakfast items,cookies & even GARLIC BREAD already prepared smh. It’s crazy because even the merchandiser knew about what they were doing and it’s Bad QUALITY! Even muffins they bake off and have a whole rack they pull in and out of the freezer just to fill the tables! The bakery manager here thinks she’s knows everything but doesn’t and she approves re freezing naked goods smh . My whole family never shops at this Safeway since I’ve shown and told them what they do !

There were 15 to 20 people if not more in each line and there were only 3 lines open. The cashiers were great but you could sense their frustration also. There werent employees visiblearound the store to help either. They did have the Dunkin Donuts Mocha Oreos though, so theres that. Big guy probably around 40 years old. sometimes has a goatee......anyways He is a really friendly person who makes you feel like you are talking to an old friend whenever you shop.. This is my local market, lately they have less cashiers and implemented the autocheck cashiers. I dont think is fair, this is asking us to the work of a cashier without payment. I dont think is a fair practice with their employees. Its OK if you are in a hurry, but they should have more cashiers to check out, the place is packed in the afternoons and seems like they dont have anough employees.

I usually avoid this store because of the lack of hygiene and disrespect to covid protocols. And when I have to use this store, I use the self check out. But when I have an item that requires an id, I get stuck for over 10-15 minutes in line because the cashier wants to open a never ending conversation with the customer ahead. Though just another carbon copy of every other safeway, i liked that it was almost completely void of customers, allowing for a much more comfortable and relaxing shopping experience, and also making it easier to find things. I noticed They did have a bit more of a selection than some of the other Safeway locations in other cities, and the produce was fresh. The reason for not gifting that 5th star is the obvious and widespread issue of the overall prices that safeway offers. Usually about 75 cents to 3+ dollars more than other shopping locations. Which is a bummer because Safeway is so convenient and has some high quality items that are exclusive to Safeway, but most of their items of all quality variants arent so unique that you couldnt find the same items for cheaper at either grocery outlet, walmart or dollar general.

One of the better Safeways (Cordelia).I literally live 2 minutes away from the Waterman Safeway. The Waterman Safeway Deli staff just seems unmotivated to help customers. I went there to order a Turkey Holiday Dinner and was told they are sold out.The Cordelia Safeway not only had them, but the staff took care of the ridiculous paperwork order form. I was in and out in a matter of minutes.

This huge parking lot only has 4 handicap spaces and people park in them for a long time shopping at the tiny mall. There is a Wells Fargo bank inside Safeway which is convenient with tellers and 2 ATM machines. Right inside is also a Starbucks coffee kiosk. The prices are a little bit higher than other grocery stores but sometimes they have sales that make the prices more appealing. Every Friday they used to have $5 sales where you can get more for your money. The weekly ad spells out the great sales. Sometimes, for convenience sake it is worth it to pay a tiny bit more for a product or two. Overall, the cashiers are mostly friendly but sometimes they wont even say Hi. I only go there when I have to.

Also I have to check the date on EVERY item I buy or else I end up at home with overpriced groceries that are expired. My grocery bags were over filled and too heavy. Several of the bags ripped when I was bringing them into my house. I dont understand why if youre paying for the bags why do they overload them. My two loaves of bread were placed on top of 2 roasted chickens. From now on I will have them just put my groceries back in to my cart and bag them myself when I get to my car.

This Safeway has gotten a lot better since I moved to Fairfield about 6 years ago. I used to find things misplaced in the wrong aisles all the time, that doesnt happen anymore. The staff is courteous and the checker lines have dramatically reduced during peak hours. The only downside is that prices for most grocery items are relatively more expensive than Target. For instance, organic whole milk with DHA is almost a dollar fifty more expensive here, but then again Safeway is open 24 hours a day.
