We ordered the dinner sashimi, the dynamite roll, and the sai-tanic roll. The sashimi was really fresh, like melting in your mouth, and the two rolls were delicious! The servers were nice and made sure we had everything we wanted. Everything was amazing, and we will definitely be back!

My husband and I went to this place because of the good reviews and Im definitely sure well come back. The fish was really big, thick and fresh! their rolls are huge so that i feel almost full with only some pieces. especially the scallop roll was so good! its literally full of scallops.(I forgot to take any photo of scallop roll though.) you should try it.

Went here to grab some take out on Valentine’s Day. Have eaten here a few times and enjoyed it but it was obvious that they were swamped with orders(completely understandable for a holiday) and much busier than usual. It took a while to get the food and one of the rolls tasted a bit off however knowing that my past experiences here have been great, I’m still giving them a 4 stars.

Wow!!!! What can I say besides amazing! Fish was very fresh. They were very accommodating even though I came in 45 min to close. Very nice portions and such tender fish. Met Sai very nice man and very serious about his sushi! Wish this was in my town I would be here every week!!!

Some of the best sushi i have ever had! My husband and I stumbled upon this place and automatically came back less than a week later because we loved all the food so much! Really incredible quality and freshness of the fish! Amazing service! I suggest getting Melt in Your mouth! And the sushi roll with fried onion on top! Another incredible roll is the scallop roll. Also they have genuine Wasabi you can order!!! Honestly cannot wait to come back again!

I ordered the cucumber #salad while my boyfriend got the #shrimp tempura. As for our sushi rolls, we got the 🌈 #Rainbow roll, #Dragon 🐉 Drago roll, #salmon skin roll, chuck Norris Roll, FF roll and avocado 🥑 cucumber 🥒 roll.. it was delicious. Our waitress was super friendly and other staff welcoming. This place gets packed, many regulars too. If you love ❤️ sushi 🍣 I definitely recommend 👌 #Sai Sushi

Went on a recommendation to this place. It blew me away! Its a small strip mall place but would put it up against almost any. I was able to try real wasabi here for the first time in my life!! The owners and workers are so cute and full of life and love. I couldnt tell you everything I ordered because they helped me. There was a flight of sushi, a sushi salad and spicy edamame dish that were stellar! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Sushi was delicious. Each roll was huge with a nice thick fish. Even the ginger tasted great. For the appetizer, we had the shrimp tempera. It looked kind of small for the price, but it made up for it in texture and taste.For sushi,, we had the salmon lover roll, the marine boi, and the yellowtail submarine, all of which were great. My favorite was the marine boi, but my sister preferred the salmon lover.

My husband and I have been coming to Sai’s since it opened and its always a win. The fish is so fresh and the rolls, I recommend the Chuck Norris, are delicious. The service is excellent and they treat all their customers like family. We just tried a new roll, the Oh Yes, and it was amazing! Don’t bother. Placed a Togo order and I was fine waiting the estimated 30min wait time because they were really busy; but, when I come in they tell me another ten minutes and they I end up waiting another 30min. Just save your money it’s not worth it.

Service is fast and food is great. I go here about once a week with my coworkers and the server now knows us by name. The restroom is really nice and clean too.You can get a meal for about $15. I usually spend about $18-20 before tipping.

Very impressed with the quality of the sushi, all things considered. Friendly atmosphere. I really like the keto friendly options. The hamachi kama and the salmon kama is a highlight. If you like other izakaya places then youll not be disappointed. The sake menu could be diversified a bit. They do take reservations so I recommend doing that. Its not a large place and it seems to be a popular neighborhood spot.

I liked this sushi place but it wasnt my favorite. The sushi rolls werent wrapped really tight so when you went to pick it up it just fell all over the place.We tried to get extra ginger and it was like pulling teeth. But it was tasty. I would go again.

The most exquisite and fresh Sushi in town!My wife introduced me to this place since we were dating all his family and her know Mr Sai he is always kind and friendly, but all the staff is amazing, and the sushi OMG is always delicious and you can feel the freshness of the fish and the veggies, my favorite is the hand roll, Philadelphia roll and dynamite, the dining area and the restroom are always squeaky clean! I tried Sai Sushi after reading reviews about it. Definitely a full 5 stars. I stop every week for a take-out sushi combo on the way home from work. I brought my son who loves sushi, and he thanked me for taking him to the best sushi hes ever had. The entire staff is very friendly welcoming customers back home, and that is the atmosphere here. Food is well prepared, the fish always the freshest and best cuts. Portions are good sized without being oversized, nor too small as I have experienced elsewhere. Sai IS a Master Chef, and an artist, and his other sushi chefs are also very good. Everything is made with care, not rushed out. I cant think of anything they could do to improve, other than expanding into the next shop over. But service is excellent as it is.

This is my favorite and go-to Japanese restaurant in Yorba Linda. Chef Sai and the staff are very nice and friendly!The pokebowl here tastes especially good. I recommend getting it for their lunch special. The sushi and sashimi is good. The sesame chicken appetizer is surprisingly good.

On entering the restaurant we were not greeted very readily. This should have been my first clue to how the meal would go. When we finally got someones attention they told us we could sit wherever we wanted to so we took the only table that could seat four that was left. It took a little while for the waitress to come get our order but it was busy so that made sense. However while taking our order she got distracted by some locals and left us mid order to go say hi. She didnt come back. I finally had to flag someone down to finish our order. During our visit the couple who was well known there got preferential treatment and were in and out before our table even got all of our food, some of which didnt even come out but was on the ticket anyway. I also had to flag down someone after about fifteen minutes after having been done and sitting there.The only reason Im not giving this one star is that the food was ok, nothing special but not bad.The upshot of this is, if youre a local and have been going here then keep on going but if youre visiting then Id suggest finding somewhere else to eat.

Hands-down the best sushi restaurant in Yorba Linda. Sai studied his art for 10 years in Japan before becoming a local legend at Ginzaya.
