2023-04-17 00:01:01I had the crispy Vietnamese crepe. Its kind of like a cross between a crepe and omelette. It had a nice crispiness. Inside was vegetables, meat and shrimp. It comes with lettuce and mint. I also got a barbecue pork ban mi that had a good assortment of vegetables. I got a dish of clear sauce that I dipped both the sandwich and the omelette inn and that really enhanced both dishes. Im not sure which one it actually came with though. This is not a fancy restaurant by any means. It is just the type of restaurant I like best - simple interior with great food served quickly at decent prices.

2023-04-08 03:30:52This small mom n pop restaurant has excellent Vietnamese food. They’re also very nice and accommodating of special requests. I normally get a beef ceviche (goi bo tai chanh) and this is one of the few places that makes it in the area. Tonight I had shaken beef cube plate with rice and vegetables. My companion had the pork version. Both were delicious. We also had the spring rolls with shrimp which were very fresh. The satay sauce was freshly made and delicious. I also had the lemonade, which I requested to be more sour than sweet. It was delicious with a little mint leaf in it.There is an outside patio with seating as well as some larger tables inside where we’ve been with up to 8 people.

2022-04-19 19:48:22Ive been feeling a little under the weather and wanted some good soup to soothe my sore throat. We got some beef pho, a banh mi, and the fried chicken and rice plate. The pho broth was savory and not too sweet, which is just how I like it. The beef was good quality, as were the herbs and veggies that go into the soup. The banh mi was in the top 5 or 10 Ive ever had, with surprisingly good meat and pate. The fried egg on top was icing on the cake. Havent eaten the fried chicken plate yet, but it looks awesome and I cant wait for dinner now!

2021-10-16 03:33:53Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. A lot of Vietnamese classic dishes on the menu. I got the beef stew with bread and the stew was flavorful and the bread amazingly crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside.Staff was helpful and on top of service.

2017-08-26 11:58:48My review is based on this first visit. The restaurant is near Kaiser in San Leandro. And the place has a parking lot. This place is old but tables look clean. The food is not bad either so will plan on coming back. My only complaint is with the basil leaves. They were served old, withering and losing their color.Walk to the front and pay. Theres no sign.
