Came here for early dinner. Place was easy to find and parking was fuss free. The place is nothing to shout but the food is good. I had the dried egg noodle which is my yardstick for quality of condiments, noodle texture, sauce and the meat. Everything else on the menu looks like standard Vietnamese fare. Would return when in area.

The bbq pork and egg rolls vermicelli was ok, the duck noodle soup has nice aroma flavor but was a bit too salty and I couldnt finish it. The service was quick and server was nice. Its more like Chinese Vietnamese cuisine instead of authentic Vietnamese.

One of my favorites. Well priced and really good food! Ive loved every dish Ive order and have become a weekly regular. I dont feel ripped off. Its a family-owned business and it shows in the welcoming customer service. The atmosphere is chill and clean. No bells and whistles. Just good quality comfort food. I prefer this place over the popular, expensive one next door 1000%!

Food was amazing, super generous portions for the price, service was friendly and quick. All the “green stuff” was fresh and not wilty. Parking is a bit of a battle since it’s just on the street, but definitely worth it.

The food at this place was truly outstanding! I highly recommend it. However, if I may offer a suggestion to make it a perfect 5-star experience, the drinks could have been served a bit faster, especially for tired individuals who have been walking in the park or traveling. That being said, the overall food quality, price for serving size and service were excellent. I particularly appreciated how the staff provided recommendations on how to enjoy the dishes to enhance their flavors. Were so glad we chose this place; it truly made our day memorable and ended it on a high note.

I like this new pho spot close to me food was good and authentic to Vietnam 🇻🇳 I lived in Vietnam for the 3 years - the staff is very attentive and nice - food was good on this day I got the bbq chicken noodles soup they give you alot of fresh veggies to throw in the soup too 🙌 and I tried the BBH a week ago too was also very tasty when you live in the sunset district you always want to find a nice noodle soup place

Went here to try out their sandwiches. We ordered the Grilled Pork sandwich and Tofu sandwich.Pork banh mi was flavorful and the bread was soft and chewy. Also asked for extra sauce in case there wasn’t enough (recommended). Had there been more pickled vegetables it would have been even better! Otherwise, solid 4 stars! The workers were very nice as well.

Bun bo hue was spicy but they were pretty generous with the protein toppings. Duck noodle soup was tasty but still missing some authentic flavor. Fish sauce fried wings were good. Service was great! Great interiors also.

Definitely my new go to viet restaurant. I saw this place was new and had really good reviews. I noticed that they had recently opened for indoor dining and decided to try it out. Their entrance is on the side of the restaurant and not the door on the actual sidewalk. The restaurant is really big with a lot of tables. We were seated immediately. We ordered the imperial rolls, pho with meat balls, and bun rieu. The imperial rolls were only okay and only came with three in an order. However, their bun rieu was one of the best Ive had, comparable with those Ive had in San Jose. I think the flavor is really good and the quality of the ingredients is very high. The pho is also really tasty, with amazing broth and good quality beef. Ive visited this restaurant multiple times now and they are very appreciative of the business as they opened during the pandemic. It seems a lot of people order take out here, but not too many have eaten inside. They have a lot of traditional Vietnamese dishes that I hope to try in the future.

Lovely family owned restaurant. Peter and Dan provided awesome service, telling us all about each dish and the best way to enjoy it! We had fried egg rolls, braised pork and eggs, and bone in duck soup. All were incredible. Will definitely be coming back here!

My review is based on their seafood crispy noodles $14. While the food tasted OK, I left the restaurant hungry. The crispy noodles only occupied the center diameter of the plate. For the size of this dish, they maybe should have put this under the appetizer section. It felt small to me. Service was fine. I ended up walking over to the fried chicken place a couple of blocks down to ease the hunger pains.

Best pho I’ve had in San Francisco. Got the crispy spring rolls which were also phenomenal. Had rare beef and beef ball pho. Incredibly flavorful. Very nice and attentive staff. Restaurant itself isn’t fancy but it’s spacious and clean and welcoming. Will be back.

Restaurant is nice and clean. It wasnt super busy wheb we went in early afternoon on a weekday, but service was timely. We got the beef pho, grilled pork summer rolls and spring rolls and everything was delicious ! Price was very reasonable - about $13 for a pho bowl adequate amount of meat. Owner was a very nice gentleman, and you can tell he cares about the service and quality of his food. Would definitely return here when Im back in SF !

Great food, fair prices, and nice folks. I live nearby and stopped to look at their menu. My partner and I decided to order takeout for dinner. When we got home, we really enjoyed it. He ordered the chicken pho, and I ordered the chicken bun. My dish was very fresh and tasty. My partner said his pho is the best hes had. I tried the broth, and I was shocked to smell the cinnamon. Ive had plenty of pho, but Ive never smelled cinnamon in it before. The broth was also not oily. I went back a couple of days later to try their Vietnamese iced coffee. Good stuff. Im happy we have them in the neighborhood. Ill be back pho sure.Edit: Advice to the owners - add a sandwich sign to the sidewalk and open the shades on the windows. Your storefront is very nondescript. I think youll get more business if you dress up the windows. It looks like youre always closed.

Came here for lunch! Got a plate of garlic noodles and BBQ chicken - really satisfying and plenty of food. I loooove garlic so I asked for extra garlic but of course it wasnt enough haha. Chicken was flavorful and tender. Service was on point too! They were very attentive without being intrusive. I would definitely recommend and I will for sure be back!

The food is really dirty. I found a cockroach in the noodlesoup，but the waiter said that is not cockrach. They said it was leaf. In my knowledge，the leaf does not have hands and legs. I wont come back here again. The guys who is bald head stared at me if I tip him. Bad service.

I looooooved this place. We got the combo pho, some curry, and a bbq pho. Everything was delicious, flavorful, and fresh tasting. Even their water tasted amazingly refreshing. Portions were filling and the restaurant employees were extremely kind and friendly with great hospitality! I was visiting from out of town and can’t wait to go back whenever I am in SF.

I was so lucky to find this place! I just love it! I ordered the #71 on the menu vermicelli with bbq beef...OMG DELICIOUS! The family that operates this restaurant were very friendly and they offered me a cup of hot tea while I was waiting for my order. Very fresh, great quality and not expensive at all. Definitely I will be back very soon!

Tasty selection of different barbeque and tradition dish options with plenty of options to try and return to at another time. The egg rolls were good and so was the fried rice. The BBQ chicken and beef was ok. Would be interested to try some other dishes on the next visit and see if there is something even more exciting and tasty to try.

This place is so good! We came here for our trip from L.A. and it was a great choice. The pho broth was delicious and had good flavor. I had the pho with BBQ ribs with a side of rice. Perfect combo for those wanting a rice plate and pho. We also got the curry which was really flavorful. Lastly, the customer service was really great! Super friendly and welcoming staff. I will make a stop again, next time we come up 😎

This place was absolutely fantastic. My husband was in love with multi-topping vermicelli meal. I had the pho that came with ribs on the side. I couldn’t believe that a Vietnamese restaurant could make such amazing ribs. My only complaint Would be not offering a full slab dinner of their ribs. This is a family run business and the family was so kind-from the son offering us samples to mom showing us the difference between broke rice and regular rice. Wish I had taken a picture of the food. I took a picture of the receipt to show my sister how affordable eating in SF can be.

My partner and I have frequented Saigon bbq before they moved to SF, when they were in Brisbane. The food is delicious and always has been priced fairly - you get a good portion for what you pay. But that is not the only thing that has kept us coming back - it’s the family and how welcome they always make me and my partner feel when we order some food. I am so happy to have Saigon bbq so close to where I live now! All the soups are great, and I love the chicken vermicelli! 🤗

Have been walking by this place and finally got to try it last week. They have an extensive menu with over 100 items. But I was most interested in their broken rice plates. I got the special, which was chock full of various bbq meats, shredded pork, pork loaf, and a sunny egg. It was A LOT of food! Everything was delicious. Will definitely go back!
