A single piece of tripe... 2 thin pieces of brisket and half a meatball for a $16 pho, AND they charge $2 for chili oil!! Definitely dont doordash from this place.. and Ill probably never support this place in person again..

According to Google Maps, this is one of the worst rated restaurants in Merced and hasnt received a single positive review in a year. The business seems to be struggling in many ways, including high pricing, lack of quality and quantity for the price, lack of organization and communication, lack of timeliness and lack of customer service skills. Hopefully this restaurant is able to take constructive criticism from customers and turn things around. It is always unfortunate for local businesses to struggle but it seems this desire to change needs to happen within the operator of this establishment first.

Yall dont understand this place is the absolute pinticle of fresh, and spectacular food that Ive found in merced. If you go in and have time speak with the server she has a wonderful story about the business,the food ethic, and how she loves what she does. Many of the times I go in there is immediate seating greeting and menus. Highly recommend

I’ve had pho in Sacramento, concord and Modesto, there portions are perfect . But here in Merced ! NO I’ve tried 2 places so far, there portions for meat is very very little. I’m so disappointed in these people . Not asking for a 1/2 lb just enough to satisfy my craving. They give 3 or 4 tiny pieces of brisket.

Food is not the best. Thought since some reviews were good that maybe the bad ones were just sour grapes??? Nope, food is flavorless but it was hot. Portion size is half that of other shops. Maybe its due to covid?? We wont be back. Plus lady at restaurant was mean and it was like she didnt want to take our order we placed on phone. We should have known then!! Pick up was worse.

Ordered online. The restaurant has you call once you arrive so theyll bring out the food but had the owner start yelling at me when I did. When she finally did show up at the door they said they hadnt even started the food yet and proceeded to try and lecture me about not expecting the food when they said it would be ready. Portion sizes were smaller than advertised and food taste was subpar

The food here is delicious, a quiet atmosphere, reasonable prices.I know this has nothing to do with the restaurant itself, just thought I would share a bit about the woman who runs the place.She is an animal lover, she nursed this abandoned dog for several days before I met them both.I had space so i have him still.So, even if you never been there, if your an animal person, please come show your respect.

If you are reading this review before you visit this place, congratulations, your the lucky one. My advice is: DO NOT order food from this place.The price is 2 times higher than the other vietnamese place in town, they only take cash, and the lady in charge has the worst attitude in this world.It is okay I paid extra for the food, but the food is made with poor quality and no afford at all.The place will close down shortly, unluckily I have wasted money today.

Rude staff yell at customers. Treats door dash drivers like trash, yells and be Littles them. Doesnt know how to talk to people with respect. Told dasher,door dashing isnt a job and they are only her customers not theirs. Will never eat at this location ever again definitely sticking to Noahs on main. 👎

Went here twice. Both times werent very good but especially the second visit. The first one was when the pandemic first hit, so I blamed it on the unorthodox way of serving to-go constantly but this last time- there wasnt an excuse for the ripoff. I bought double chicken and received a half of a chicken breast that was dry and tasteless! I was very appalled. Ill be going to Noahs next time I suppose.

Ok, here is the break down. Great food and good price, but the customer service was out of this world!We came in asking for Vegan soups and dishes and we got blown away by the flavor of the foods. It was great! We met the chef Maggie and even got food Togo for mg kid who goes to college in Merced.Ill in all a wonderful experience and we will definitely come back again

Love this place! Came in on a whim couple weeks ago looking for a vegan friendly place to eat while in town. Now driving twice a week for the vegan pho soup and the spring rolls. Dont know whats in the dipping sauce but I find my self trying to get every last bit of the spring roll that falls out in, out. Staff is friendly and make me feel like home. Will be back soon.

Horrible service. The lady was being really rude to us as well as some or customer ordering take out. Took over 40 min to serve one bowl of pho, two spring rolls, and a sandwich. My friend got sick from whatever the sauce for the spring rolls was made out of. Bread for the sandwich was stale as a piece of card board, and the pho wasnt all that great. I ordered a large and I asked if she had mistaken the bowl for a small and the lady had the nerve to talk back to me saying if I didnt like it I should just leave. I recommend eating in some other place.

Food is not all that great, not to mention it took forever for us to get our food especially when we were the only ones there. Large bowl of pho is more like a small. Lady there claim to have 40 years experience as a cook only to find out the food is not even close to what someone can make at home. Food seems to be overly priced....order 3 dishes, 1 appetizer and 3 boba drinks, total bill came to about $70. Last time Im dining here.

When the food arrived Oh my oh my water down $hitty a** pho with a few pieces of meat and meatballs you must be kidding me right. I couldnt believe what was in front me 10 dollar bowlfor mabe 3 bites of food I spent 70 dollars and she added her 18% I guess she knew she wasnt going to get tipped. I take it she never get tipped for her $hitty service . Do not go here this is my first and last rude a** lady with nasty little food. Go someplace else praying and hoping this place gets shuts down soon.

All I got was the chicken curry and 2 spring rolls cut in half and called 4 spring rolls. Then I was charged $20.54... i will NEVER come back to this dump. The pho was amazing the one time I tried it about a year ago... but this experience has sealed their fate in my eyes.

I had sooo bad services and experiences by one of the lady who work at this suck a restaurant with some my friends from Japan. Because when we ordering, she seemed like boring and racism to us. It was so rude, and Ive never had this awful experience and never met before like that lady work at a restaurant in the United States.

Like what almost everyone said, if i can give this place no star, i would! My boyfriend and I decided to grab lunch during lunch rush hours. When we got there, there was only one customer, so that makes 3 customers. Customer service was horrible. There was an outlet next to us so i decided to charge my phone. The lady came to our table with waters and then said Oh when you guys charge your phones on these outlets outside here in the lobby, make sure you guys be careful because there was one time when a customer charged his/her phone, it shocked all of our electricity and it went out. Im not the owner here. Yeah because the landlord of this whole building didnt install enough electricity (and then there was this other word she said that i didnt quite understand). So then we didnt say much, we just nodded and i kept my phone charged. That just sounds like the greediest of the greedy excuses ever. If that really is true, why not block your outlets or put up a warning sign about it. So then we went on and ordered 2 bowls of vermacille noodles and 1 Vietnamese sandwich. Dont forget there was only 3 customers, us and 1 other. 10 minutes after we put in our order, the other customer got his bowl of pho. We waited and waited and waited and waited and waited. 30 minutes gone. My bf starts to get hangry (hungry+angry). I told him lets wait a bit more. 4 other customers walk in. 20 minutes gone by! Ok now Im hangry! Ive had it! So we took off! 3 customers only in the damn restaurants to begin with during lunch rush hours and it takes 50 freaken minutes to get our food! Ridiculous! Dont waste your time and money on this place. We left to Thai Cuisine ll and they were busy but we got our food in less than 10 minutes. Now we know why saigon barely has any customer during lunch rush. 👎

I visited this restaurant as much as I could while I was in town. The owner is very lovely and willing to make anything vegan. She always complimented me and chatted with me when I would stop by to pick up my order.

This place is AMAZING!!! I took my boyfriend here for his birthday, expecting a good, quiet meal out and it was the fateful night we met May. She came out like a radiant hostess and showed us to our table and proceeded to make our night the best weve ever had out! The pho was amazing to say the least!!! A recipe that her mother passed down to her straight out of Vietnam! The broth was so fragrant and flavorful. She demonstrated the best way to enjoy pho. I had had it before, but I felt as if I was only tasting it for the first time!!! Her company and conversation and her hospitality make this my favorite go-to place for nomage!!!!! Five stars are NOT ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely awesome Beef Pho! Im very picky with Pho. Been to all other pho places in Merced a few times and didnt like them much. This place nails it. Its not imitation out of a can pho stock either like many others use. Ill be back pho sure! Now I dont have to drive to Fresno to get good pho anymore!

This is a very strange place to dine at. Right when one walks in it feels empty and a sense of what do I do occurs. There might or might not be someone there to tend to you. There is a wide variety of Vietnamese food. The quality of the food is average and acceptable.

The price had gone up extremely. I used to go here a lot because of the customer service despite the long wait it took to get our food. Now it is too over priced for example I ordered a small pho and it was 12.95 and not to mention the 3 tiny pieces of meat. Not worth it anymore.
