The food and service is excellent! Very warm staff and cheerful. We ordered fried and fresh spring rolls as appetizers and it was very tasty and authentic! Legit Vietnamese resto!

The best pho in Marin! This restaurant is a treasure. Amazing staff, amazing food, love them! Out of all the places offering pho in the area, this one is the best. They always include utensils and everything you need when you order takeout. They even include culantro which is how you know this place is legit. They are quick and reliable, even when we are lagging behind and ordering 15 minutes before closing. They keep us fed and happy.

Despite the location which attracts some of the most erratic people wandering around in the street this is one of the best places to eat in San Rafael. Convenient and quick, this is a great little gem that serves fresh and authentic food. So fresh that weve occasionally had to pick bugs from the freshly cut coriander. On top of all that, the menu is super affordable and I honestly hope that nothing changes so it doesnt get ruined by becoming more successful.

The food tasted incredible. By far my favorite Vietnamese place. I 100% recommend. Food looked and tasted delicious and the service was great. The restaurant is extremely pretty too. The bad reviews were completely wrong the food got to my table extremely quickly and the workers were very nice. I am definitely coming again!

Don’t let the outside fool you! I’ve gone past this place a million times and finally checked it out. The inside is super inviting and cheerful. The food was AMAZING. Giant portions and we got small pho! Our server kindly explained that I wasn’t supposed to pour the broth that came on the side of the vermicelli dish ON it when I asked him hahaha We will be back for sure.

I had egg roll and pho. The veg with egg roll is really dirty; a dead fly is clearly visible (see the pic i uploaded). Pho has no taste; barely find any meat. We all know pho needs to be with real chicken or beef broth. I bet this place just uses water with some seasonings. Service is lousy.Update: Just tried pho at La Maison De La Reine. Saigon Village is better than La Maison De La Reine. Try to avoid these two altogether.

If you want a good Vietnamese lunch or dinner, this is a good choice. Pretty extensive menu, quick service, good food. Parking on back. Some comfortable bench seating, large table for 12+ groups (reservation free suggested of you need more than 4 seats). Thats a small special noodle soup with noodles and meat and a combo sauteed with chow mein

I ordered #32 - BBQ pork & eggs rolls with vermicelli noodles. BBQ pork is good, vermicelli noodles seem fresh but the eggs rolls is nothing but fried eggs rolls wrap rolled up. Cant taste any meat or any others ingredients within it, all you can tasted is fried eggs rolls wrap.

Very delicious food for reasonable prices. We tried a few different dishes like sandwich, rice plate and noodles and they were all excellent quality, very yummy tasting across the board.We were in the area for the weekend and we returned next day to pick up more food before we went home. Well definitely return next time our family is in the area.

The best Vietnamese restaurant in Marin hands down. I love their beef stew there, its the best I love it. Been coming here for years and Everytime its always the best. Their fish cake there is wonderful a must try item. They also have bahm mi sandwich there if you want something quick.

I understand this establishment is under new ownership. I hadnt been to Saigon Village for quite a long time, and was in the mood for something spicy, so my girlfriend and myself decided to dine there for lunch. I tried a dish called Hot and Sour Soup with the usual noodles, sprouts and jalapeno, and it was out of this world good. It was absolutely delicious, plentiful and hit the spot.I thoroughly enjoyed it, and will come back again for the same dish. The restaurant is clean, the wait staff is very pleasant and quick. The place is very clean. Its small, but the food is absolutely delicious, and it wont break the bank to dine there.I highly recommend Saigon Village.

Came here after a long day of hiking and Saigon did not disappoint. Tried the seafood Pho and Vietnamese Coffee. Both were delicious and the waiter was especially friendly and helpful. Five stars experience.

I had never had pho before, so I specifically looked for a place to get some one day. I honestly didnt expect it to be all that great, but I was amazed. This pho was absolutely delicious. We came back and I got one of their vermicelli dishes and that was on point as well! Good service and cheap. This may be hands down my favorite place to eat in all of Marin.

Despite having lived in Thailand for 4 years, I prefer Vietnamese food, and have liked everything Ive ever ordered here. These guys do it right at fair prices. On the Michelin scale, were talking 3-star food at 3-star prices, with good service. A great repeat eatery.

I ordered a beef pho over the phone and got there about 30 minutes later to pick it up. My food was ready and well packaged with the appropriate ingredients separated into individual containers so they didnt over cook or become soggy. As a restaurateur I know how much the containers cost so I really appreciate them spending the extra time and money to do things right and not just slop it all into a big plastic bowl. The broth was rich and had hints of star anise as a traditional beef pho should. The accoutrement was all fresh and plentiful. After avoiding this place for a few years Ive learned to not judge a restaurant by its cover.

Probably the best local option for pho so far. Broth for the pho has been consistently good. Plenty of cuts of meat and the rare cuts that come on top are actually rare. Reasonably priced.

My favorite restaurant! We eat here once per week. We always get the tofu salad rolls, imperial rolls, the vegetarian rice noodle soup and BBQ Chicken and rice. This place is ALWAYS incredible and affordable to boot. Any time my mom visits from out of town she always wants to go here. Dont waste your time on ramen, eat the pho here!

Yum. I have had a variety of bahn mi sandwichs here. I have had pho. I have also have the grilled chicken meal. The price is great for how good the food is. The staff has always been friendly, and anytime I place an order for pickup it is ready and hot as soon as I arrive. Looking forward to trying out more of the menu items.

Very good Pho and cold noodle bowls with good portions and fair prices. The interior is dated but clean and they have some very nice pictures of flowering trees along street in southeast asia. The friendly helpful staff round out a great restaurant.

This is a gem in Marin County if you are vegan and love Vietnamese food. We always order the fake beef pho, and on occasion the fake chicken pho or the fake meat claypot. Theyre all good. The broth is so delicious, and we leave feeling so satisfied. The service is excellent as well, and we love seeing the same staff every time we go. They just started serving agar boba which I highly recommend!

I thought I would check out this Vietnamese restaurant after a class. I was impressed with how fast I received my food, but I was a little disappointed with the quality. The bean sprouts were unfortunately a little browned and not crisp and white, as I am used to. The broth was simple, pleasant in taste. Not very complex, but good enough.I did like that the spring rolls were made with shrimp and no pork (bbq pork is not my favorite).Perhaps my next visit I will receive fresh sprouts.

Great Vietnamese food at a decent prices. Perfect for quick pick up orders- it usually takes 15 minutes for them to prepare your order and there are a lot of options besides pho (Im going to wait for dine in service before getting pho again!). Slushies are also great, especially because you can request less sugar. Bahn mi is on real French rolls with the right amount of meat. I could go for more picked carrot but still the best bahn mi Ive had in San Rafael!Pros: great food, prices, and service; short wait timesCons:. The broth is rich and fragrant with spices. Mild in its spiciness, but always hot and full to the brim. Now let me ask you, are you feeling adventurous? Then get the hot and sour soup.
