Weve ordered here since Covid. They were great. Lately theyre decreasing how much fish is in an order. An ell.roll, you have to look for the ell. You cant even taste it, its so miniscule. Hopefully they reset back to what they served before, when getting sushi means you actually get a fair amount of sushi.

Had the following.. Monster Roll (My daughter loves it and made me order another one ) Golden Tiger Roll (Good, but feel it could have been better without the avocado) Chicken Roll (My daughter loved that one as well it was good) and the Philadelphua Roll (Very good). The service was great as well.. I loved seeing the entire staff working well as a team and helping eachother out.. Definitely plan on returning.. To top it off they currently have a 50% Off on all the specialty rolls. So I was definitely a great deal!

We ordered the lovers roll which was good. My husband ordered the beef udon he said the beef was super chewy. My son ordered the chicken udon and loved it. The seaweed salad with masago was good. And the taco sushi was really good. They were very busy and under staffed but they helped each other with the tables. I appreciate the hard work we absolutely noticed they were constantly moving and helping some one. We understand and still enjoyed our meal.

I waited 35 minutes to get my to go orders, once I got home, the food was cold cold cold. The two dishes on the right had good flavor, however, I didnt appreciate how cold they were. The plate on the left was all raw, I dont do raw sushi. I asked the young man to recommend a most seller dish but had to be cooked, he said that one (hungry) and to my surprise it was all raw 😞 I live 30+ minutes away, I was not going to go back, and it was a bummer to had to waste a dish. Its okay. I ordered the edamame, the Philadelphia crunch roll and a bowl of miso soup. The edamame was very flavorful. The miso soup was good. The Philadelphia crunch roll was okay. Ive had better rolls. Our server was friendly. I dont think Ill return. Nothing special about this sushi place

This was my second visit to Sake It 2 Me Sushi, and they are now on my top ten list of sushi restaurants. My wife and I went the all you can eat route ( more bang for our buck). They have a really nice variety of traditional and specialty rolls. I love the fried calamari rings, sashimi salad, sauteed shishito peppers, and garlic edamame. I also recommend trying their dynamite roll, spicy tuna on crispy rice roll, and Cajun popcorn lobster roll. The restaurant isnt much on decor and the mens bathroom definitely need some work. Wait staffers are personable and detail oriented. Pricing is par for the course as it pertains to sushi restaurants. I definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Favorite place, been coming here for a while, cant pass on the all you can drink and eat sushi. The staff is amazing and the owner is very sweet she makes sure you have an excellent experience here. You have to try the yammy yammy roll and their spider roll is super good. Heck everything on the menu is worth it the Jessica roll to their lobster roll ugh yummy yummy. The staff members are really nice, they are very attentive, and was taken care of as always. Their all you can drink special is worth it you can create your own sake bombs too. Regular customer. Cant complain. Their taco sushi is great, and everything else. Worth a try.

I went with my 3 year old son on a Sunday and had the best experience. They were fast to get our food and they kept my drink full with out me asking for it to be filled.Some of the best service i have had in a very long time. The servers were great for accommodation.

The salmon is absolutely amazing... like phenomenal.. the waiters are very nice and attentive. The manger/owner is always going around checking on everyone. The only reason why I am not giving a 5 star is on a few occasions... the avocados were CRUNCHY like apple crunchy... i feel the sushi chef should know a HARD avocado is not good for sushi rolls... i will be back though because everyone is so nice.

Well to begin If they close at 9 PM you shouldnt take nobody in At 8 PM to rush them to Order and eat.. Then my So Ive had to spoil lettuce and the very nice waters tell me the chef say is just water spots . Well I was a cook for several years I know water a spot .. Then the cashier charge my friend the entire bill and charge me 1/2 of the bill Then she fixed it but still bad experience...by the way they only took off one salad off the bill .. Came back after a multi-year absence.All you can eat is gone, replaced with a 50% off specialty items menu. Still, a really good deal!Sushi was delicious and tasted fresh. Everything was great.Just one thing I do not like, their check out process. Firstly, they force you at 15% gratuity, I always tip 20% but it leaves little room to add more or less if you want. After you get the follow up check to sign on, it has these check boxes to add more gratuity (ranging 15-20%+) which, if you didn’t catch that they force gratuity, you may accidentally tip double. There’s also no option to add a custom amount here.I do not like this process. We were only a party of two, there’s no reason to force gratuity. I always tip 20%, as stated before, and there was no way to add the additional 5%. It also seems sneaky in the way it tries to make you tip double.Please, change this process.I will come back, but you’re locking yourself to 15% from me.

I came here for the first time a little over a month ago and had an excellent experience with the service and food. I then came back a day ago with friends to rave about their food and service here, but only to be disappointed. Most of the items I had ordered were very good except for the dynamite. The server put in the wrong order and had to remake it, but looks like it was rushed out and not prepped or cooked properly. We had to ask our server multiple times for things to get something, but still get nothing. The time of dine in was around 12:30pm on a Saturday, they had three tables of guests at the time of arrival. Sushi chefs were just as great as the first time.

Besure to check your receipt! They add 15% tip automatically, which is fine, but they dont clearly show that on your copy of the receipt, and when its time to sign, it has 3 options (15%,18%,20%) for another tip even though they already charged it. They should at least make you aware of this. Ive never been to a place that has done this before for 2 people.Aside from that, food was decent. The only reason we gave this place a try was that Red Robin across the parking lot was backed up.

My party of 5 (wife and kids) arrived at 6. Seating was available almost immediately. The staff was friendly helpful. Their sizes of their portions were quite large. Having eaten at this location and the Ontario Holt location, I see myself making the extra drive to this location for its better portions and better service. My only complaint was the feeling they were understaffed. Service was slightly slower for a lunch/dinner rush. All you can eat also has yet to return. Overall I enjoyed my visit and plan to return soon.

Food was great. Seemed fresh which is what I look for in sushi. Only gave 3 stars because floors were dirty and service is slow. We had to wait for our table to be cleaned but upon arrival there was so much food on the floor under the table so I was initially grossed out. We ordered the all you can and it took forever to get service to reorder our next rounds. I noticed that the servers had to also clean the tables and work the host area. Service would run smoother to have someone who mainly cleans so that the servers can focus on the customers. Especially since this place offers all you can eat. This requires the server to check back more often to fulfill orders. Otherwise at least the food was fresh and tasty. This was my first time there so I will definitely visit again and hopefully wont have the same wait issue when ordering all you can eat. Lastly 2 of the 3 waiters we had were not very friendly but my guess is because they were all doing so much between waiting tables,cleaning tables,seating customers and working the bar area. I think they were just stretched thin.

Its 50% but its only for the special rolls a Philadelphia roll was 16$ but regular rolls, sushi, and appetizers are not included in the 50%deal. The Philadelphia roll was under the special roll list the original price was $16 . All the rolls were $15, $15.50, or $16 the only roll that was 13 was a chicken teriyaki roll. We paid 48 dollars for 3 rolls (which were small), 2 hand rolls (which were also small), and green mussels with 2 waters. Sadly the only thing that was good was the green mussels.

By far the worst customer service, It wasn’t even busy at all but the waitress still took forever to bring refills. Literally asked twice and they would avoid passing by our table. My brother was choking on the sushi waiting for his water. Asked to speak to a manager if they can remove the sushi role since it was all cold while waiting for the water. Manager Yang said, “he did not care if my brother was choking, either way he has to pay for the roll.” He was very disrespectful didn’t care about customer service at all. Pretty good, fast service. I gave it 3 stars because, we got the all you can eat and even though the plates were reasonably priced and the portions were as expected. We paid $50 for 9 regular sized egg rolls, $5.05 each + tax, it was the all you can eat price for each one. I don’t think I’ll be going back, or at least will not order the egg rolls.

My husband and I love this place! They have All-You-Can-Eat Sushi! This was our first visit to the Rancho location, the other one we visited was on Holt Blvd in Ontario. The Rancho location is newer and looks nice. They have happy hour where they have special prices on certain items on their menu. Their cuts of fish were big and tasty. Which unfortunately only halfway replicated their sushi rice. The bland taste of the sushi rice didnt do any favors for the amount they slapped onto each piece, which wasnt excessive, but still plentiful.Otherwise, most of their plates were beautiful and tasted fantastic.I almost forgot to mention- our servers made a mistake with our order, which I was completely okay with, and swore they brought everything we asked for. Were all human and it happens, but rise above it and get better. Very lively place, always crowded. There a little under staff, workers seem lost. Think they need to work on that. The sushi pretty quality whether you order solo items, all you can eat or the all you can eat and drink(tap beer/sake). Portions of food are pretty good. After much thought, I’ve determined this place deserves every bit of this one star.Food was actually very acceptable. Taste was good, for what the rolls are. We ordered 9 rolls. Pretty much every one of the rolls that wasn’t spicy is, at heart, a California roll, with stuff on top. Kinda disappointing when you realize it. But again, taste was good enough. Edamame was entirely without salt (odd) and the gyoza was full of air, but did taste fine.They deserve the one star because, and I cannot empathize this enough, they have HIDDEN FEES! I was very upset to see a 15% “service fee” tacked on to my bill. I’m a very good tipper, and I am forced to count that as tip. Yet, since I’m such a good tipper, I still gave over 10% on top of that, but that was enough to make sure I never ever go back.JUST CHARGE THE PRICE YOU WANT TOUR CUSTOMER TO PAY! You barely got me in to the door with the lie about AYCE, then learning upon arrival you stopped it… I decided to stay because, whatever, we were already there. Then a hidden fee? Awesome place to eat, the sushi is really fresh and cut thick with small amounts of rice. It is all-you-can-eat, however, be aware that you have to pay for any leftovers. This was our go-to-all-you- eat sushi place, but recent visit gave us a not so favorable outcome. The food was ok but not as good as before. The salad was over refrigerated and the chicken teriyaki lacks the teriyaki flavor. The miso soup was watery with no hint of misu flavor, and the sashimi is not as fresh like before. We wonder if this was a Covid-19 side effect 🧐😳 or was there a change of management. I remember they used to offer us free entree from the sushi menu, and now it’s totally different 😣

Great lunch specials. Decent quality, but solid cuts and portions of fish. Service varies greatly though. On one day they will be spot on, and the next they will take an hour (literally) to bring your order. There doesnt seem to be any correlation between busy or not, or if it is lunch or dinner. They have also skipped some of the party members food orders, and given it to us to go since our lunch was over by then.Current health inspection rating on the door is a B (11/2017).All in all, its a gamble. But hey, eating out is an adventure every time when you go here! Haha.

Our waiter came to our table a total of 3 times in the 90 minutes my wife and I spent there (half of that timetwas spent waiting for our waiter to stop by so we could ask for the check). First of all, there was awful service. The servers were so uncheerful and out of it. Secondly, the food was really bad. I ordered Baked Scallop Rolls on the All You Can Eat menu, and the scallops tasted old and frozen. I started to take them of one by one, but they just slipped off of the rolls like a piece of leather. Also, the greens in the Sashimi Salad were old. Lastly, we asked for Green Tea Ice cream, and they said they didnt even have any. Awful service and food.

We had a terrible time here having all you can eat sushi. They were not busy and the two girls working neglected our table. I had questions about the sushi and it was difficult to get there attention. We needed sugar for our tea and the girl kept forgetting. And then she only brought a couple and i had to wait quite some time to ask for more as i couldnt get her attention again. She would avoid making eye contact with me and my the table whenever she was close by. I had to wave her down like a kid in class who has to go potty. The way the girl would look at me made me feel bad for being in the restaurant. I felt uncomfortable and alienated. My daughter and i were very much looking forward to sushi and turned out to be an an awful experience. The sushi was delicious, however, its not worth the way the people treat you here. Paying $26 for all you can eat and getting treated like trash. Not worth the money or time.

I had to come back twice in order to eat here. First attempt arrived at 9:15pm and was actually turned away because they close at 10pm. I was pretty upset about that knowing exactly what I want and a mention that only enough time for 1 round would have been a better notice then actually turning away multiple customers. When I did gat a chance to order a few days later it felt like the taste was ok but not to the point Id recommend it to anyone. There is potential here the rolls seem creatively put together but there was no pop that I could give them credit for. I do eat lots of sushi so that may be my downfall here.

This place has been ran down. The floors are sticky, tables are sticky. As we were seated we saw a dead roach. We didnt think anything of it cause its been good to us. The prices were comparable to other AYCE Sushi spots in the areas and their menu is pretty extensive. Every roll was receives, whether it was supposed to be a hot or cold roll, had warm rice. They also counted a baby towards an service charge of parties of 6 or more. The baby slept the entire time and required no service from the restaurant but I guess technically she was a member of the party.

Just be prepared to wait and ask for your food over and over again. I dont think its properly managed. Seemed like a bunch of family members trying to blame the other for the mistakes. No one was taking charge. There were three or four of them arguing about one bill up at the front. I liked the Sake2me s a lot. Very mediocre sushi. Dont get me wrong, it is VERY fresh, but I can honestly say that I have had better. There are too many sauces on the majority of the rolls and many have cream cheese, but I just assume thats the appeal for those who arent used to simple sushi rolls. I wouldnt suggest anyone order anything other than whats on the sushi menu (i.e. kids menu) because it seems that something out of the ordinary makes kitchen staff nervous and they have a hard time fullfilling the order in a timely fashion. We went there for the AYCE sushi, little did we know that they offered AYCE and all you can drink beer and Sake for 30 dollars. 24.95 is the regular price for just the sushi. This use to be a favorite place for sushi, however it has gone downhill. Rolls were falling apart and the fried rolls you could tell the oil hadnt been changed in a while. My husband who has a shellfish allergie reminded the staff over and over of his allergie and they still cross contaminated this food which resulted in his tongue swelling.

Consider the all you can eat only if have a big appetite, otherwise you can order two different rolls for the same price, specially of youre with a large party and you want to try a little bit of everything.

First sake 2 me in montclair was great great customer interaction, but at Rancho different story, they got our order wrong the first time and each order afterwards was missing 1 or more items. Will not return

Been coming here for years. Now.... Apparently, 5 tables is too many to get service. 20 minutes sitting there and no one comes to take our order. Maybe its because Im a man of color.
