Sakura Sushi in Auburn

My favorite sushi restaurant in Auburn by a wide margin. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming. Hanging spotlights over the table highlight the amazing food. Service is quick and attentive.Jalapeno BOMs are a must. The tempura was perfectly fried--crispy but not oily. The Sakura roll and 49er roll are fantastic, as well.Dont miss out on this hidden gem.

Tiny little shop that holds amazing sushi!Im often wary of good reviews in areas that have less competition, but this place stands out above 90% of the places Ive tried.Wonderful little mom & pop place with delicious fresh fish for a good price. The chef was artful in the preparation of the meal, and the service was extremely kind and friendly. I spent about $30 after tax on Chirashi, which is on the cheaper end of most places I see. Im starting this for future trips through the area!

Truly the best sushi Ive had in my life.The fish tastes so fresh, never oily or fatty tasting.Its hard to describe how much better this place is than every other sushi spot.Get the mushroom bomb. Phenomenal

Amazing staff, fresh and delicious food, always welcoming, and a great atmosphere. A jewel amongst rubble. Hank and his staff are so wonderful and we love eating here! Please make this the number one place for sushi in Auburn :-)

Great place to go with friends and family, they have vegan/vegetarian options and their customer service is great. 🍣🍱 They may be small but are lovely.

Nice quiet hidden find. A great sushi place. Went on a quiet Friday afternoon and had the shop to ourselves. Staff was friendly and helpful. Sushi was fresh and rolls came out promptly

Great sushi and atmosphere (I loved the photos of the ghoulish apparitions that were plastered on the walls). The thing is that some of the rolls are a bit pricey. Some rolls also have the same names which is a little confusing.

Best pepperfin Ive had in a long time! All of the food was amazing and well presented, with a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

What can I say! I never review anything on here, but this place deserves it! First of all the location is perfect, its nice, small, and quite. Second off, the service was awesome! I didnt have to flag anyone down and was well taken care of. And last but not least the food was AWESOME. I have worked in sushi for awhile and the quality of fish was amazing, the presentation was beautiful and the price/portions were perfect. I think me and my husband have found our new favorite place 🧡

Easily the best sushi Ive had in the Grass Valley/Auburn/Roseville area. Theres a wide variety of options and Ive literally never had something bad from their menu. Everything is fresh and quickly prepared as well. Plus, the atmosphere is so relaxing. I cant recommend this place enough! My dad and I try to go a couple of times a month!
