We come to Sakura a lot, and generally speaking, I really like this place. Tonight’s experience was awful customer service wise.First thing that was odd was each ordered a fried rice- and one was at least 1/3 bigger. See picture. (And my friend had already eaten a lot of her when I took it). Not a big deal to me though.Normally we sit in the hibachi tables, but today we decided to sit on the other side because we didn’t want hibachi. The service was very slow, still, not a big deal. My friend ordered two rolls and a fried rice. I ordered a salad, beef nigiri and a fried rice. We waited at least 30 minutes for anything to arrive. They brought out my friends rolls first. She tried to wait for one of my items to come out to start eating but was starving. After another 15 minutes of waiting I asked the waiter if he could check on any of my food, at least bring the little salad. He didn’t come back for another 10 minutes, then finally came out with my salad, and then shortly after our rices. At this point my friend was pretty much done with her meal and I still hadn’t gotten my main. I again asked the waiter to check on my nigiri. He said barely said ok, then went back to what he was doing (didn’t see him check anything) waited another 10 mins and asked again. Still nothing. He then came back 5 minutes later with our bill. I said I still haven’t gotten my food?? And he took the bill and walked away. I asked again for the 4th time, this time pretty irritated and he walked to the counter and grabbed it and it’s clear it had been sitting there the whole time. He dropped it with no apology. It was cold.We flagged someone down and asked if he was the manager to which he said yes (tall guy, black button down) and we explained what happened and his response was “oh that dish is just served cold”, again no apology. (It’s also not served cold lol). I responded saying it had been sitting up there the whole time and our waiter tried to bring us the bill before I had even gotten it! And his response “oh I’ll talk to him”, and walked away. I ate it quickly and then asked “the manager” as he was walking by for the bill and he looked at me and pretended to not hear me! I don’t think he was actually the manager because as a manager myself in a customer based industry, this kind of treatment would never fly.I understand Fridays are busy but we were pretty chill the whole time until the end when it was clear our waiter wasn’t going to bring out my food no matter how many times we asked, but this experience was pretty ridiculous.

Have been Missing Teppanyaki so much and finally found the right place! The most excited thing was they have 5 kinds of Draft beer and a few kinds of red wine and white wine. I liked the glass of red wine and chardonnay from Napa.

The waiters were very nice and polite and although I had trouble communicating with them (I am a foreigner and English did not seem to be their first language), there was really no major issue there. I ordered hibachi steak and shrimp and, unlike the previous time, when I really enjoyed the taste, it seemed quite bland this time. The cook also had a lets get this over with attitude and appearance. Admittedly, I was there at 4PM and I was the only person there, but they either cook hibachi or not - and if they do, they should show some enthusiasm and humor the customers who come and pay for the show. Their sushi was really good, though!

It is a family place for dinner, but actually the food is really good, rib-eye steak cooked right to the medium tenderness; hot cooking plate is better than BBQ (no burning); lobster is a hot dry; when asked about how you want the rice; try fried rice; it is really taste. We ordered two sets of dinners and a California roll for 2 adults and a kid. That’s enough food. Chef shows great skills and entertainment right in front of you. If you are running out of dinner places for your family, and hard to decide whether a steak house or Japanese restaurant, come to teppanyaki, it will serve everyone’s taste.

The food was delicious and in good portions too. The at table chefs were crafty and personable. We had a young toddler at our table so they kept the flaming theatrics to a minimum, however ours was equipped with a squeaky toy to make him inclusive of the fun. I would certainly go again if I was ever in the area. Id also make sure I had more time to explore the downtown area.

I had Luhan, Lobster and 49er rolls. They were melt in your mouth delicious and fresh. I also had the shrimp tempura and it was light, crispy and also delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant.

We tried a little bit of everything and loved it! I would definitely recommend it to anyone, if you are not a sushi lover, you will find other great dishes, from steak to fish to seafood, you have a wide choice in hand! I am definitely more of a sushi lover, but we decided to try different dishes also and were not at all disappointed!

Fun hibachi night with the family! We got the Jalapeño bomb and Sakura Hibachi Special with steak, shrimp, and chicken. Everything was great, especially when dipped in a mix of the cream and spicy sauce. Our toddler was mesmerized!

Great for kids, always a show to see the love cooking. I had the lobster tail, and definitely want fresh tasting. But chicken, salmon and rice was good. Typical teppanyaki fare. Sushi was ok too, futomaki had only veggies.Good for groups on weekday, not crowded, so you could actually hear each other. Once other tables got cooking though, super loud.

Sakura roll is delicious. If you have birthday and celebrate they’ll bring decorative umbrellas to take pictures, print you on and bring you an ice-cream for desert.
