2023-07-04 16:10:38Mt husband and I were looking for a new good steak restaurant to try and Salt Creek Grille popped up in Google. When we arrived the we were greeted and chose to sit at a booth in the bar area to watch the Dodgers game. We were then greeted by a friendly waitress who took our order. We first ordered drinks and an appetizer, calamari. I was a little disappointed the calamari only came in rings, there were no tentacles. My husband ordered a steak(I forgot what cut it was) but it had a little too much fat but other than that he liked it. I ordered the jumbo shrimp pasta and added a side of steak cut up to add to my pasta. The dish was flavorful the only con about it was the shrimp was far from jumbo shrimp these were close to medium/large. The flavor of steak that I ordered on the side was also flavorful and cooked just a little over what I asked for medium. I rated the service the lowest because we had to waive over to get my husband another beer, to ask for a to-go container, to ask for the bill and then to actually pay the bill.

2023-09-11 21:59:49We were looking for a great stop of from Los Angeles after seeing a play at the Ahmansen Theater. The food here was absolutely delicious. We had an Artichoke dip appetizer, Calamari, Ahi Tuna Stack, Cajun Penne Pasta and chicken roulade. All was perfect except the chicken which turned out a little tough. I would definitely come back when were traveling to our from the Central Valley to LA.

2023-02-26 00:13:39First time going to this restaurant. The service was great, and the food was delicious. My family really enjoyed everything from the service, food and atmosphere. We cant wait to go back. I had never heard of this restaurant, Im glad we came across it. We went to celebrate a birthday and had a great experience, we certainly will recommend this restaurant to our friends and family.

2023-05-15 21:53:48My family and I had a lovely Mother’s Day dinner at Salt Creek Grille. Our lovely dinner started out a little stressful though. We were sat on the patio and unfortunately, the table they reserved for us was initially under the sun with no shade. Our dinner reservation was at 4pm and it was pretty warm that day (high 80s).This lady wearing a blue sleeveless shirt - assuming one of their managers? - came to our table asking if there was a problem with our table. After voicing our concerns, she offered NO solution to the problem. Instead she replied with answers such as “we can’t control the sun, weather,” “the restaurant is fully booked and we can’t move your table…”Ma’am, we did not ask you to control the weather or the sun. We asked you to accommodate a comfortable dinner for us not sitting under the sun for almost 2 hours. She really stood their to argue with my mom/family standing her ground - power tripping (Taking advantage of the little authority she has in that restaurant).Thankfully another man, assuming another manager offered to help us! Woohoo! This man offered to move our table closer to the shady area AND use their umbrella to shade us! Last but not the least, Nate/Nathan! The best server ever. There’s two kinds of managers, a hateful Karen VS someone who is kind and actually does their job! Please teach that woman some customer service manners.Food was good! Mother’s helper cocktail was bomb!PS: the patio was definitely not fully booked and we were told the other big party had cancelled. Miss Karen in the blue sleeveless just wanted to cause drama on Mother’s Day. Shame on you lady!

2023-03-27 22:24:05We had a wonderful retirement party at Salt Creek this past weekend. Matias was such a great server and took excellent care of our group. We were about 20 people and reserved the private dining room. Best food and experience ever!! Thank you!

2022-06-08 16:15:25The food was pretty… It was also a tad bland. The Chicken Roulade was flavorful enough but not hot. I had it to be warmed up, which took a while because it took a while for our server to get back to us. Seasonal vegetables were fresh and amazing!

2023-03-31 05:50:12Although my steak was a TEENY but overcooked, the service was OUTSTANDING!!! There were several large parties of 8 or more and we still only waited 15 minutes for our food. Zack was friendly, funny, helpful, and humble. The folks around us were negative and complaining and he just apologized and smiled through it. If I hadnt heard the conversation I wouldnt have known it happened - he was that good! The brussel sprouts are to die for, Aloras favorite is delicious and manager Jennifer is sweet and patient. Thank you for one of our best dining experiences in a long time!!

2022-07-24 00:51:47Food was great, ambience was good, but service was subpar. My husband and I finally decided to try this place, and we both loved our portobello chicken and our desserts (crème brûlée and the triple chocolate brownie dish). But for the price one pays at this place, you would expect the service to be better than average. We were there on a Thursday night, and although there were more people than we expected, it was nowhere near as crowded as it would’ve been on a weekend night. It took several minutes for our server to initially greet us. When she asked for our drink and appetizer order, we said we’re fine with water while my husband ordered a beer. No appetizers, but we placed our main course order. She asked if we would like bread, and we said yes.She never came back to our table after taking our order (which meant that our water glasses remained as empty as our table with no bread basket). When another server brought our plates and asked if there’s anything else he can get for us, we asked for bread and for more water. While we were leisurely enjoying our meal, she checked in on us just once, and so we asked, once again, for more water (lemme tell you, those glasses were small and were filled more with ice than water). When we were done, she asked if she can take the plates, to which we said yes. She was about to walk away when I asked for the dessert menu. After we were done with our meal, she gave us the check….and even then, it took her yet another several minutes to retrieve it.As good as the food was, the mediocre service is what will deter us from choosing to dine here again. When the check for two people is over $100 and your server makes you feel like you’re not worth her time and attention, we’ll happily spend our money elsewhere.

2022-08-31 05:58:45Celebrated a friends birthday last night. We were the only group out on the patio and I think our server really forgot about us! It wasn’t too busy. We had to go ask to have drinks refilled. We never got bread until we asked when our food came. No one picked up our appetizer plates. The food was amazing as always. I had the scallops my friends had the salmon & the beef stroganoff & the veggie platter. The Christini’s were good too just very disappointed in the service.

2023-03-14 04:38:03Service was lovely. The wine list was great and fairly priced. The food left a lot to be desired. Lacking flavour. Some parts were over cooked. Others needed salt and other seasonings.
