Friendly and quick service in a beautiful setting with delicious food. Their guacamole is unlike anything I’ve tasted with the chili oil topper that made it taste…buttery. So good. Their tacos were fresh and flavorful. Excellent all around.

Amazing experience overall. CONGRATS on the location and first restaurant in addition to the food truck!Loved everything we got. The guacamole didn’t feel thick enough, we like it a little more chunky!Top three: Baja fish taco, taco mi-rey, CHIPS.Baja fish - tasted fresh and light compared to all the heavy flavors of everything else. Had a light sweet hint to it.Taco mi-rey - explosive flavors and I don’t even know what it was but it was magical and needed.CHIPS - you’ll get them for free but I love how they’re restaurant style and THICK! It’s rare to find these chips and have them warm at the table. Bravo!Service received a little less stars because we were left thirsty for a few times, but server was great otherwise. I think the dinner slam was quick to come!

The food was delicious. Jesus our waiter was friendly and took really good care of us. We will be back again soon. The tacos are delicious, they made the tortillas fresh and are incredible. The ceviche and tostadas are really tasty!!! Great job

100/10! We stopped there on a whim and couldn’t have left happier! My husband got the Birria tacos, I got the Chicken Al Pastor and both were phenomenal. Best tacos we’ve ever had. Even better was the service. Esteban, our waiter, was fantastic. I’d highly recommend checking this place out.

Food was okay. Not bad, just nothing special, despite the interesting naming and ingredients. Theres a lot of other Mexican food around, and I was hoping for something unique.Service was fast and friendly. Drinks were good.Atmosphere on the patio is casual, if a bit noisy and crowded.Not sure Ill be back... Not because its bad, just because its not that interesting or different.

Everything was terrific. We loved the popcorn shrimp and the tacos. I recommend the asparagus taco even though it sounded weird, it was delish!! The shrimp taco was tasty too. The margaritas were super good and everything was delicious. The staff was wonderful, especially Allan.

Love the food! Ive been going here for years when Im in the Scottsdale area. Especially like the manager Gilbert. Hes on top of everything at the restaurant and does everything he can to make sure your visit is the best it can be!!! We need more Gilberts in the world!

Been on holiday in California for over 2 weeks and the food we had here was BY FAR the best food we have eaten in the USA. so tasty and flavourful. And the churros were incredible. The service was also amazing. Would recommend this place to anyone.

One seriously delicious food truck. The California burrito was the best Ive ever had. Each of the tacos had excellent flavor. The salsa was spicy and they gave a little extra which was nice. Highly recommend if youre in the neighborhood, goes great after an afternoon at a brewery

Alan is a very talented chef who went from food truck to this quaint space in Del Mar turning out some delicious elevated Mexican dishes. Ceviche, tacos, and queso with steak chicharrones was amazing. I will add that the cocktails are just as good as the food. Hope this place is here for a long time!

We came here with an expectation of Mexican taste. Food was not close to traditional Mexican taste. I ordered Baja Tacos. Tortilla was soaked in water. It was watery and tasteless.I would, however, give full marks to our server. He was very curtious.

Loved trying out this place. The tacos are a great alternative to Taco Stand and to be honest; a better presentation. I found them very authentic. The corn in a cup was hot and delicious but I’d like to see some grilled corn options here! Will def come back when I’m needing my authentic Mexican fix. Wonderful owner and I wish his business well 🤓

Welcome to the neighborhood! Anytime a new restaurant comes to the area, I will try it at least once. I’m proud to say I will become a Salt & Lime regular. I love Mexican food and tend to prefer more traditional styles over styles that I consider to be trendy. Salt & Lime was the perfect combination of traditional but unique. I got the taco trio and each taco packed plenty of favor. I’m looking forward to trying the tostadas on my next visit. They also had a great outdoor seating area. It’s a great addition to the neighborhood.

This truck f#%*s!I’ve been waiting to try the California burrito and it was well worth the wait & weight. One of the better (if not best) California burritos I’ve had in North Park. Perfectly fresh and tender meat, delicious cheese, and the right amount of guac and other add ons. This thing is massive and can easily be split between two! Thanks

I went to the smoothie place near by to get a drink and just saw Salt and lime on the same street and decided to go there and give it a try. It was some of best tacos 🌮 I have had in San Diego! The flavoring is so good you honestly don’t need sauce to compliment the tacos. It is truly a must try in you are in the North Park area of San Diego. BTW the Nutella tacos are so delicious as well!!!

Such a convenient location 5min walking distance from my house near Madison Ave. Cute outdoor seating thats shady and sunny depending on what you want, and very well spaced for COVID guidelines! We looove their tacos, very high quality for the price! Owner and chef are super nice and quick. Will definitely keep coming back here!!

Ate here for the first time today and it was awesome! I ordered the trio grilled shrimp tacos and they were really good! Light and refreshing flavors, yet very filling (I was a little surprised by how filling they are!). And I like that the food here isnt greasy and the tacos taste homemade. This place has awesome Latin music and has a very cool/airy vibe about it. If youre not in a hurry, definitely take advantage of their neat little outdoor setup and eat outside and chill. I live in Florida, but the next time I visit San Diego I will make sure to come back and eat here again. Definitely recommend this spot! 5/5

Was out to get Taco’s with my girlfriend after the gym, but we stopped at a smoothie place close by before we got tacos. We decided to try salt and lime after because it was close and it looked interesting. Was very surprised, the el pastor tacos were some of the best flavors I’ve ever had for food in general. Definitely a must if you’re in the area and hungry for food. Thanks to the owners! You guys are working hard to create high quality food and It shows.

Tried for the first time today & already looking forward to the next time. The Won-Tostada is one of the best things Ive ever eaten. We tried one of every taco & theyre all amazing - 3 favorites = al pastor, quesitaco & taco mi-rey (though el yogi was great too!). I tend to prefer savory over sweet, but the nutella rolled tacos were delicious as well. So good!

My husband and I had lunch here today and it was awesome! I had the ceviche tostada and a fish taco. My husband had a steak taco and fish taco and we both shared the elote. The food was fresh and the service was great. After we received our food the guy (sorry I didn’t get his name) walked by our table and asked if everything was good and if we needed anything. The location is nice and will be nicer in the summer since it has plenty of trees that provide shade. If you stop by you have to try the ceviche tostada!!

Amazing food the owner Alan is here everyday and was very thorough in explaining every question I had on the menu. He even made recommendations on his personal favorites, and trust me he did not disappoint. I got the taco trio that had the taco mi rey, the quesitaco and al pastor. Every taco was great packed with flavor and fresh. I definitely recommend coming here, next time I come I will try something g different everything looks amazing.

Saw them while walking down 30th street and decided to try them out. I ordered the Baja fish taco and the al pastor, and damn were they good! The fish was fresh, light, and cooked perfectly. With some fresh chopped cabbage and a light crema it was dressed to perfection. The al pastor definitely stole the show though, tender, juicy, flavorful, fresh pineapple and pickeled onions, I shouldve ordered another but my stomach wouldnt allow it. I will be returning and hope to see this place get well established in the community!

My family hired the Salt & Lime taco truck to come for a big family birthday party and the food was *delicious*! There were so many options for all dietary preferences. I particularly loved the Corn in a Cup. The Nutella tacos were unreal, they were even good cold the day after! I would absolutely recommend hiring Salt & Lime for any events, or tracking them down at the farmers market.

A fairly new small Mexican restaurant with nice outdoor covered seating. The chips were very corny and good, but the salsa wasnt chunky like you would normally expect. The asada tacos had lots of meat and were really good. The drinks were a tad expensive but very good.
