This is a tray for 5 people. It was delicious. Sorry the photo was taken after people already tried a few things. The cured meats are exceptional as is everything else. The fruit was very fresh. I’ve also tried the Porchetta, salads and a few other items over the last 2 years. Everything I’ve tried has been exceptional. The service is great as well. I called and picked up on days they are not open.

If you think you’ve been to a good Salumeria, well let me tell you, Ovello isn’t just good - it is GREAT!Two years in the preparation stage and open now (but closed for 12 days for salami making starting 1/14/20).Sandwiches and soup to eat in. Salamis to sample. Amazing salamis and so many other delights to buy and take home.The owner catered a special dinner for our family a couple of years ago and hold us at that time that he was planning on opening this shop. Trust me, it was worth the wait!As another customer told me there today, there are other similar shops in the city (San Francisco), but none of them come even close to being what Ovello is.

Perfectly airy light & slightly crispy fresh foccacia which makes any of the sandwiches a delightful treat. Order more than 1 sandwich as the tasty meats & airy foccacia will make you want to eat more. Adding Ovello to my must-visit when in Sonoma list.

I came here once on a wine trip. One of our friends stumbled across it and was like “you guys have to try this” I don’t really go out of my way for sandwiches but when I heard it was a local restaurant I was like I need to give it a try. When I say, I haven’t been to napa or sonoma or anywhere nor cal without stopping here Shoukd tell you how much I love this place. I crave to bite their pruchetta sandwich, it’s just THAT GOOD. The cheese and the spices yummm I just had it again today and I took my parents.

I finally stopped in- it’s perfect. A stellar selection of meats, of course, but focaccias, fresh grab and go salads, imported drinks, olive oils, fresh pastas, and such a great selection of gourmet chocolate bars. I am a huge dark chocolate fan and they have my favorites and ones I’ve never seen. And I’m no stranger to spending ten bucks on a bar of chocolate! Excellent for gourmet gifts. Cannot recommend highly enough. A complete gem!

I so wanted to like this place and was so disappointed. I bought some sliced Speck and some sliced truffle salami. Even if I ignore the fact that it took the assistant 10 minutes to slice

I think this is one of the best places to go by pick up a picnic for the plaza. Chef Andre is one of the nicest people youll ever meet. His staff is wonderful. The kitchen and deli is so clean and beautiful. And if youre just went and if youre just looking for a little prosciutto, its the best weve ever had. But if you have nothing better to do go get a little prosciutto and check out the red slicing machine hes brought from Italy in the corner of the shop its beautiful!

Everything I have had here is special. Tiramisu to die for, tarts, amazing cheese plates and interesting new flavors. And the chef cooks up something incredible to take home for dinner, today it was a beef stew that tasted like home, and my mom could COOK! I love this place.
