2023-10-24 18:44:37We are not from around here but my father and I will make an effort to come to this Sam Woo BBQ restaurant once a month. If you come before 11:30am, they have great deals on early luncheon menu. Highly recommend this establishment because the food is so inexpensive and delicious! Fact is, its much cheaper than going to MacDs!

2023-06-26 19:08:34I ordered the roast duck over rice and my girlfriend had the wonton noodle soup with roast duck. This place is CASH ONLY, but outside from that the portions were generous and the food was quite good, especially for the price. I spent maybe $35 here for the TWO of us after tip. Dont expect good service or anything. Had to ask for waters, never refilled or checked in, but you cant expect too much at this $.

2023-06-09 01:12:06Delicious Chinese food with generous portion! I hope they maintain the standard both quantity and quality.Kung Pao chicken was good. Just the right flavor. Mapo Tofu somehow didn’t taste like it. It’s good but just not the typical Mapo Tofu I had from other Sichuan restaurants.Packaging for to-go was not the best for my Kung Pao. It self-destroyed when I arrived at home.

2023-03-05 13:43:25This is a tiny cash only Chinese barbeque restaurant. My family was craving for roast duck but the skin was not crispy. The congee with duck was ok. The chicken/pork barbeque with noodle soup tasted off, like it was old. The pork barbecue was the only satisfying dish.

2022-01-19 05:04:57Freshly made to order and served within minutes. The aroma and the look of each dish made the food even more delicious. They were out of a lot of items but the meal was still wonderful.

2020-01-01 07:49:56We love this place. The place is kind of small, but the quality of food is amazing. Dont forget to try roasted duck, barbecue pork, barbecue chicken liver and gizzards, salty cripsy chicken and pork ear/intestine. I prefer roasted duck in this place is better than the place at Walnut Grove street.

2021-10-03 00:05:29No frills. An honest casual filling meal with prices and flavors that stay true from when I first ate here 30 years ago. Prices are fair and portions are hearty that I drive an hour to eat here.Theres too many gimmicky food places now and I find myself easily picking this place for their BBQ meats and comfort foods. If you want your fancy service and dressed up plating etc, please go eat somewhere else and leave this place be. Some of else dont mind the cozy atmosphere with mostly Cantonese speaking staff, the mahjong tile clock, and unfaultable service.

2023-11-29 23:31:52Certainly, an old school Cantonese deli restaurant serving up some popular and traditional Cantonese affairs, including delicious BBQ.
