The food was average. Their barbeque meats werent as good as other Sam Woo (i think). Ordered porridge and walnut mayonnaise shrimp; the walnuts were soggy.

This place is CLEAN. Servers are very attentive.Ive never thought chinese food could be very expensive. I ordered 2 delicacy bbq pork with pork belly and it is $20 for a small plate. The chow mein noodles are ok but on the salty side.I remember when on a tight budget that Sam Woo used to be my go to place but not anymore.There are no cheap budget chinese place anymore here due to inflation. when we let our evil governor and government dictate, this happen and it will still get worse.

Delicious BBQ Pork!!! We buy a large tray to go, chop it up bite size, and freeze it. Taste great with morning scrambled eggs. Adding just a bit makes most dishes taste like BEACON!

Sam Woos is a franchise restaurant so the same dishes sometimes vary in flavor dependant on location.This was the first time I visited this location. The service was good and the sweet and sour chicken delicious as was the beef chow mein.We also ordered barbecue pork ribs but because they were in short supply, they added barbecue pork to the order. The barbecue pork or tsa tsu was far better in flavor than the ribs which were dry and not properly marinated.Overall, the food was good though I will never order barbecue ribs again.

Nostalgia.. is the same as i remember as a child. cant beat the salt and pepper squid, my all time fave song with the roast duck. also ordered the squid from the quick serve counter, surprisingly good!

This Sam Woo just reopen this month for dine in after the pandemic. Came try their breakfast. Compared to all other HK-style restaurants in the area, their breakfast menu beats all others hands down in terms of quality and value. Breakfast menu is available from 8:30am to 2:30pm, all others offer till 11:00 or 11:30am. Unlike most other restaurants there is no extra charge for cold breakfast drink. Just try it once, youll know what Im talking about. Will definitely come back again.

Ordered the steam pork with salty fish, went home, tasted. Taste super duper sour, I knew it went bad already… before I order it, i asked the lady multiple times is it good since I only see one there. Lady confirmed with me it is still good! Big fat lied. Called it in told them my situation, told me to bring it back….. wtf… the gas going back to exchange cost more then the dish itself! Ask them to give me credit instead, told me no….”neither bring it back or no credit”.Bad choice for going their bad service, lier. Not recommend! 中国人不骗中国人。

The food is delicious, the portions are huge for the price, I dont know if they charged for the tea since they only list the overall cost and not the items or their prices. We got the double meat entre with duck and sausage, eggplant in garlic sauce, pork fried rice, fried squid and spring rolls, huge portions for $53+Service is typical for authentic Asian food places, I cant say theyre friendly or mean. Just straightforward I guess. I think good food +big portion +good prices with OK customer service. I like it.

Squid on the menu and this location is not too tasty. Its not a tasty item to begin with but the texture is hard to replicate. Plastic that is completely chewable and edible. Acquired taste of course. Beyond that, standard Chinese BBQ setup with good hours-opens at 8a! Stream chicken looked good. Had to try your luck when you arrive. Sometimes they sat too long and its way dry. Sometimes when they are fresh from the kitchen, then its great! $15 min for credit card per message at register.

I went there to buy roasted pork today. When I brought it home and the family start eating, we noticed that the meat having a nasty smell like the meat is rotten. I usually dont like to waste food but the smell was awful. I ended up throwing it away. My wife told me not to give to our puppies because they could probably get sick from it. Be very careful next time you buy from here.

We ordered takeout today and we were charged $46 but we had ordered $38.33 worth of food. We did not specify the amount of tip we were adding and they automatically charged us the 20% tip. When we called them back they said that the transaction is pending and would change. The service was also extremely rude; specifically the bald employee.Make sure you double-check the transactions if you order take out!

I want to say if you are not familiar with traditional Chinese style restaurant, you may get a little of worrisome at the entrance of the restaurant, because the way the food is presented. This restaurant has great authentic Chines food, very fast and great service. You will be surprised how fast they bring the food to the table. I would say this is a great place for family and friends gathering together. Food is cheap and taste great.

This is by far the nicest and cleanest Sam Woo I have ever been to. If you want cheap and delicious but still authentic Chinese food you have to check out Sam Woo the next time you pass by. Unlike most Sam Woo restaurants, this location is much more current in terms of atmosphere. Food and service is comparable to the others, but this one serves breakfast. As a volume focused business, the food comes out very quickly. Like some other locations, this one also has a deli style counter for fast to-go orders and Peking Duck.

We have been to many Sam Woos in Socal and we love this one - bright interior and plenty seats. This branch has the best beef fry rice with a slightly burned savory taste resulted from strong cooking fire. The spicy deep fried fish is appitizing. The real dishes actually look much better than pictures on the menu. Parking is not easy at peak hour.

Over charge! During this time, all restaurant are closed and only allow order to go. Got the squid and bbq pork. One for $10.79 and 2nd dish $5.99. With tax, came out to $27.13. Seems like they charge me $18.79 for the squid instead of $10.79.I live at least 1/2 hour away, wont drive back to get my $8 refund.Lesson learned, Double check ur dish b4 leaving.

How bad it is! We come here often for whole duck and others. This time they cut the duck with shortage too, means you didnt get the whole duck but you paid for one whole price. It Happened before. Even you remind them . They never care. When you report, They dont want to admit what they did. Be careful while you shopping there. Cold face too. Wondering Why no zero star! You pay for a roast duck but they dont give you one The amount of duck is always secretly left behind! Happened several times before including this time! ⚠️
