Samosa House East in Culver City

Delicious Indian vegetarian food. Daal, smoked cauliflower, jackfruit, and veggie chicken are my faves. This fast casual restaurant is good for dining in or to go. Excellent value for the combo plates! Small parking lot.

Putting it all together, its a bit underwhelming. Service was disinterested and lacking. Inside the tables are oddly placed leading to an uninviting feeling. Found food to be ok and not the best spicing. Samosa was an ok size, a bit greasy. Its a nice option for vegetarians but the meat-like dishes arent successful. Wouldnt be my first choice. Street parking only.

This one and the Santa Monica location have the best two Indian dishes in the world: chicken & jackfruit. Come get it!

I ordered from here my usual go to which is the vegetarian chicken. As they were making them I saw them dump chicken nuggets into the curry. It was odd but I didn’t say nothing. It was not vegan or vegetarian chicken. I have had the runs since yesterday. My stomach is in so much pain. I’m considering calling the health inspector. Their quality has for sure gone down over the years.

Dosa it taste good? I will be going here dal the time. Two Thumbs Up (please). Masala my friends love eating here. I wish there was one paneer me.Enough puns and bad wordplay, this place is amazing. Great prices, perfect spices, delicious food, oh so good. Open relatively late (10pm) and always fresh.While the Pani Puri wasnt my favorite Ive had, the Aloo Gobi and Chana Masala hit the spot, and their samosas might be the crispiest and best Ive ever had. Park in the back, on the street, or sneak across the street to the huge parking lot there, and get over to Samosa House today!

I didn’t realize that it was vegetarian only. I was craving butter chicken or chicken tikka masala but the closest thing they had was “veggie chicken.” The sauce itself was good but I didn’t care for the chicken substitute.The naan was freshly prepared and tasted good.

Casual counter serve, I got all of this for $16 in this economy. Honestly unreal value. The food is so good too. The smoky cauliflower, the paneer Makhani. All vegetarian.

Honestly, the food is great but the woman/girl who checks you out is so miserable. She doesnt smile at all or even say hello when you walk in and completely ignores you when you say bye and thank you. She really brings the mood down. I think Its time to look for a new location

I have only eaten there about 3 times food has never been bad you can get less spicy food you just have to ask.

Sometimes I get a combination- always a somosa or two. Biryani is also good.Very good flavors . Prices are reasonable .Nice attached grocery store that also has cricket bats! Loose tea, rice, ghee, chutney. Snacks- and more…it’s all there!
