This is a small place run by its own owner. Here, you will have a great experience from excellent service to delicious food that feels like homemade and with all the love. Sam is characterized by the fact that he wants to personalize his attention to each client, and if you are frequent, he remembers your name and what you like to eat. The prices are very good. You will love this place. 1000% recommended

Best for Mediterranean food Ive had since moving to California! I will be going back every time I can. My son tried so many new foods when we went. The owner took all the time in the world to talk to my son and explain all the ingredients he was using. It was such a great experience. Cant wait to go back!

Where have I been? Today I had the single best gyro Ive ever had. Ever! My local place is closed on Mondays so I did a quick google search hoping for something near Costco as I had to make a run. And you know whats near Costco? Sams is near Costco! Im so excited! I literally cannot wait for my next Gyro. Itll take about six gyros before Im ready to try something else. But Im excited about that as well!

I have heard about this place for a while now and I finally made my way during lunch with my co-worker. It’s near Costco, on the other side of the new buildings in a business area. We were both surprised with the portion sizes for the falafel wrap and chicken shawarma. They were both really good. Thanks Sam and staff.. I’ll be back soon!

If I could give more stars I would. Ive been craving Mediterranean food for a while and this exceeded my expectations! Sam is so welcoming and even gave us a couple of samples. I ordered the Sams Mediterranean veggie wrap and the veggie dolma and everything was incredible. No doubt Ill be back.

This is a hidden gem, Sam has a great menu of Mediterranean cuisine. The gyro wrap was delicious, along with the baklava. He also carries a wide variety of beverages, some that you might not find in your average store. Im looking forward to returning and chatting with Sam again.

This is by far the best gyro I’ve ever had. Everything here is absolutely incredible, I could easily eat here every day if I lived in the area. Amazing flavors outstanding customer service. You walk in and feel welcomed. One of if not my favorite lunch spot in Rohnert Park. Especially when seeking something outside the ordinary. Although they do serve some great sandwiches that will please those looking for standard lunch items. But you would really be missing out on not trying the Shawarma. The Shawarma is killer and add the sauces, bam mouth party!

My first time here and it was amazing! My friend brought me to this place for lunch, it was in an industrial area and hidden in the back. As you walk in Sam the owner greets you with a very welcoming smile. I ordered a special that wasnt on the menu chicken shawarma. As I sat there waiting for our order I noticed the owner had remembered almost every person that walked in, including orders! Thats when you know the food was going to be good! When my meal came out I ate in silence because it was so good! I finished every last bit off my plate! Also that garlic spread... Soooooo good!

This is one of the beat Delis in all Sonoma county. I love the food so much! I have been eating here for more than 15 years and every sandwich gets better and better. The humus is to die for. The best food spot in all of Rohnert park! I first visited when I was starting university in the area, and I still continue to stop by when I can well after having graduated. You likely won’t be able to find higher quality Mediterranean food elsewhere, and Sam’s personality is an amazing joy that will have you wanting to come back just for the hospitality!

I so enjoy going to Sams. He is a wonderful host and chef. Today I had the Sam-tas-steak sandwich made with tri-tip steak. I asked for grilled onions and he was happy to accommodate.My sis-in-law had his gyro wrap which she enjoyed. I love trying something new everytime. You wont be disappointed!

Im somewhat of a BLT connoisseur and **I just had the best BLT Ive ever had in my life** here. Everything was perfection, especially the crunchy, crispy, plentiful bacon. Wow. Came across this little deli when I took a wrong turn. Sam, the owner/chef was preparing personalized lunches for customers. He gave me a sample of fresh hummus and boy was it out of this world. I ordered what was basically a chicken wrap, but it was so much better than any chicken wrap Ive ever had. He customized the order with a Mediterranean salad and a side of hummus. It was around $20 for my food without drink but the ingredients were all fresh and everything was prepared fresh. He has a cooler of beverages as well as a small selection of beer and wine. There is outdoor seating with sunbrellas on the wide sidewalk. Sam seems to be genuinely interested in every person that comes through the door. I liked that his selection of food and drink focused on quality vegan and healthy options as the primary choices rather than as alternatives.

Sams has the best food I’ve had in a long while, I travel around for work a lot and find it hard to find good places to eat. The owner is super nice and willing to make your visit a special one. I personally fell in love with a garlic spread he makes. If you’re in the neighborhood you must check out Sam’s. He really knows what good food tastes like! My experience was phenomenal, Sam was pleasant and extremely friendly. It was almost closing time and he still greeted me with a friendly smile (behind his mask of course) and took the time to take my order.I ordered the Falafel plate, some Babaghanouj (spelling?) and Baklava. After reading bunch of 5-star reviews visited Sams for first time. Ordered sandwich #2 Philips club which are turkey, crisp bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo and Dutch crunch bread but bread were not fresh seems couple days old. Dont serve couple days old bread ! Very disappointed. For the price should of gone to either Safeway deli or Raleys for $7.99 sandwich instead of $13.25.

What a lifesaver, I was sooo hungry and grateful to find a place open around 3:00 in the afternoon. Sam is such a warm and gracious host, he offered me a taste of the house made hummus. Had the BBQ tri-tip sandwich served gyros style - as recommended by the owner - and it was delicious. The tri-tip was lean and thinly sliced, wrapped in lavash bread with tomatoes, tzizki sauce, onions, lettuce, and humus. I also bought a bottled Snapple ice tea to drink.The restaurant is small, but very clean. No air confitioning though, so not very comfortable in the summer. As for the service, the owner was extremely friendly and seemed to know most of his customers by name, so you know this place has a loyal following.My only minor complaint was the price. A sandwich and drink was $17. A bit high for me for just lunch. But for all you big spenders, the price might be worth it.If youre in the area (industrial park) and are craving Middle Eastern food, or just a really good sandwich, I would recommend Sams.
