I visited the family in Hemet & wanted to take them to the old Sushi spot that I would go to.As soon as I opened the door, I noticed a faint sign behind a tinted window.This sign states that they do NOT meet health standards.It feels wrong for them to try to hide the sign behind a tinted window.This signs location is not prevalent enough, leading to customers giving them undeserved business.STAY AWAY UNTIL THEY REACH APPROPRIATE HEALTH STANDARDS.

Spicy tuna is our go to sushi roll. The spicy tuna roll was so bad and tasted wrong that we left after trying a couple of pieces. We ordered 2 spicy tuna rolls and 2 specialty rolls. Sadly the specialty rolls also had spicy tuna in it so we couldnt eat them either. The rice tasted like it had been stored in the fridge overnight. We chose not to get sick after eating bad sushi. On a good note the fried calamari was good probably because it was frozen then fried. Great customer service, too bad their sushi was bad. I think the rolls were bought pre-made. Definitely, not freshly made. Ive had better grocery store sushi than this. And the place smelled like institutional bathroom cleaner.

Seen good reviews on this place so decided to try it. Customer service was good. However, the food was not. Went in on a Wednesday approximately at 1:30p. Ordered two sushi rolls and the sashimi salad. The fish was not fresh. The spring mix salad used for the sashimi salad was old. I was picking out all the old lettuce as I ate. We did not enjoy our lunch at all. Sorry, not a fan of this place and will not be returning.

I have visited this restaurant many times and thought it was now time for a review. I love this restaurant. Genuinely kind and polite service, and they actually remember you!My favorite is the 🍣 Sashimi Sushi platter, mackerel and their Plum wine. The food is stylishly prepared with care and always tastes fresh and of high quality. Of course I will return 😃P.s. Do hope to see gluten free (Gf) possibilities in the future. GF soy sauce and GF teriyaki sauce etc.

This place is located inside the mall. One of the bigger sushi places in the area. Staff are friendly. I ordered the sashimi platter entree. Sashimi portions were big that came with a lobster roll. This is the best sushi restaurant in Hemet!

Located just inside the Hemet Valley Mall, this place was fast, friendly and the food was awesome. We tried a couple of new rolls. The Tiger roll and the Crunch Dragon roll and the Red Dragon roll. The gyoza appetizer was well prepared and can with several pieces. I would definitely eat here again.

I had Miso Soup only. Pretty good but a large bowl was $6.60 after taxes. My waitress was nice and helpful. She re heated my soup 3 times as it lost its heat. The other food on the menu looked good. The food was kind of expensive for me. But I Do like Japanese food. I will try to go back sometimes.

My all time favorite place to eat, I love their California rolls so much. Eating here really helps me get in touch with my Japanese ancestry on my fathers side 😊I can not begin to tell you how many times I have ordered from here, definitely almost a hundred by now, and they always get my order perfect every time. Ive been here a handful of times now since their opening in the Hemet Hallway [OOPS, I meant the Hemet Mall], and this visit was especially awesome because it was our first time dining out in an actual restaurant since the pandemic hit! It felt great to have a taste of normalcy in the form of a relaxed, dine-in atmosphere. We ordered the Crunch Dragon Roll, and the baby lobster tail roll, along with a California roll each, and a shared cucumber salad with added shrimp! All were delicious! I dont come here often, but when I do, I never leave disappointed, and the check + generous tip even are never too outrageous either. Would have to rate this 👌 👏 👍 A-OK in my book. Doesnt hurt that I have grown pretty fond of sushi in general!

I felt this was the worst experience Ive ever had here. Lived here for 10yrs and have been here several times but this time was the worst. Feel like I was treated with disrespect because I was black. The looked at me with disgust when I came in, sat me in the back of an empty restaurant and I waited 30 mins for a California Roll and a Spicy Tuna roll that NEVER came. Had to leave because I had an appointment to get to and thought service would be much faster. I had to flash my work badge just to get the little respect I did get. I will never spend my money in this restaurant again and will be telling my colleagues. An extreme disappointment.

This is one of my new favorite sushi resturaunts. The service was fast and attentive, the plum wine was perfect, not too sweet and not dry. The food came very fast and was well presented. I love the art of food placing, they have it down right. The soup, sushi and teriyaki chicken was excellent. My favorite sushi place in town. Can be a bit slow/busy in the evenings particularly a weekend evening so if youre hungry come early. Love that they serve sapporo and have always had great sushi. The bento lunch boxes are very reasonably priced and worth the visit as well during the weekdays. Have not been dissappointed yet 😊. I have dining here since it first opened under original owners and normally love it. Today, as I walked up I saw the county health inspector had given them a C rating. YIKES! Still, I figured they must have fixed this since the C rating.... I walk in to place a to-go order and I have not been in the door two seconds and a gal wanted to take my order and now. I say I need a few seconds to figure out what I need and she hands me a pen and walks away. 10 minutes later I am still waiting to place my order... I stand at register another 2 minutes while the waitress and cook giggle and laugh with one-another (as opposed to paying attention to waiting customers. Then I left and WONT be back!

Most importantly, the fish is always fresh, and the flavors are outstanding. There are delicious rolls not on the menu. Try Jr. roll (especially if you like onions), and Cesar special roll. You wont be disappointed. Also I consider myself a sushi junkie and rate this sushi restaurant as among the very best I have ever been to.
