A pleasant city park, play structures for kids. Even though there is quite a bit of construction for the new rec center, a good portion of the park is still very accessible. The baseball field & tennis court are very well maintained. People come to walk in the park. It is also connected to Junipero Serra County Park through a nearby trail, which is moderately challenging but also fun.

Great park with 3 playgrounds. One for bigger kids and two for 2 to 5. Currently building an aquatic building which would be a great addition! There is a restroom close to the playground as well.

We bring our toddler here very often because he loves the playgrounds and big fields (baseball usually starts in the late afternoon/evening on weekdays). There are two playgrounds on the corner of Crystal Springs Rd and Cypress Ave and one more on the other side of the baseball fields, next to the tennis courts.If youre up for a hike, follow the path behind the tennis courts and the trail will take you all the way up to Junipero Serra park!

It is a pretty nice park with a lot to offer like swimming pool, playground, picnic tables, tennis court, gymnasium, etc. The only thing they are missing is a dog park.

It is a really nice park for families and friends to hang out and have fun. Also good for celebrating birthdays a/o graduation parties. It was really nice out today the sun shining and just a bit of breeze . The only thing was the bathrooms were closed ..

Warning! You have to have hell of strong legs to first get up to the top ...unless you drive to a point where you can park up above.I tried entering from the streets down in South San Francisco and it killed me just to get to the top.Awesome views and wild flowers!

The park is now partially operable due to the big construction of the recreation center. I believe it will be beautiful soon.The tennis courts are open though.

Always like taking my little one here. Park goer friendliness 1-10, I would say like a 5 or so. Cleanliness i would say 8 and overall activites and vibes may be a 6.5 to 7. The paletero man is there most of the time so bring your change and get some ice cream. The benches and picnic grill area is always being use so you know they are often cleaned.

This is in South San Francisco.Its a small park with, All Souls Church right across the Street theres a small area to bring flowers and candles for Virgin Mary.. Theres meter parking and Can get filled because of Catholic Mass and after mass the playground is full..but on a week day you can walk Grand Ave for Cafes and Restaurants its a small but growing City..

I love this park it has a gymnasium with basketball court, weight room and meeting rooms available to rent. There is a pool and two playgrounds along with 3 baseball fields. The west end has a barbeque area that can be rented with picnic tables under a roof. Lots of parking. There are other bbq pits for rent also.

Great park. Theres a lower area and an upper area, separated by a road and a creek.The lower area can either be accessed via the main entrance on Crystal Springs or you can follow one of the two trails in from the neighborhoods above. The Crystal Springs side has BBQ areas and a childrens playground right near the entrance with sand pits and play structures. Beyond that is a baseball field that opens onto a larger grassy field with tennis courts at the other end. The baseball field frequently in use for Little League, but when its empty, it often makes a good place to observe cedar waxwings.Overall, the lower area of the park is nicely scaped with lots of trees and walking paths.Theres a lot of construction going in the upper area across the road right now. They are putting in a new recreation center. Unfortunately, they have torn out the gazebo and a good deal of the area on that side is inaccessible for the moment. However, if you make your way past, there are a couple of open fields, including a second sports field. The uppermost field also has a covered area with picnic tables.Dogs are allowed on-leash in the park, but be advised that you will sometimes see folks facilitating off-leash play beyond the baseball field and more frequently in the smaller fields of the upper area of the park.If you continue up past those fields, San Bruno City Park bleeds into Junipero Serra State Park, with trails leading up into the state park.Dont forget that in addition to the obvious parking near the main entrance, you can drive through and hang a right at the far end to find more parking above by the uppermost field, near the boundary between the two parks. Or you can continue up Crystal Springs and park at the top by the senior center and follow one of the paths down. That senior center parking lot is also a great place to observe bats at dusk!

This park has two play structures close together. One for younger kids and another for the older ones. A smaller play structure lies farther down the path near the baseball fields. Lots of picnic areas for parties. There is also another park, Junipero Serra park that is a short hike away. Overall enjoyed the park a lot.

The kids love it! The play ground is actually challenging for kids up to 9 years old, so they get to properly exercise while having fun. The open play ground is excellent to bring your pets, play soccer, run, have a picnic. The whole thing great.

This is a small, family and pet friendly park. Well kept, clean, quiet, and safe. Except on holidays and weekends there is easy parking. Restrooms recently renovated. Two baseball courts, swimming pool, playgrounds, tennis courts, and areas designated for small gatherings (nice for barbecues or birthdays are available) are some of the amenities offered. Outstanding, friendly, and considerate staff.

Great place to bring kids to some pretty epic playground structures. Restrooms are nice a clean. Theres even a measured running path that varies in elevation for a great cardio session. Biggest perk- the picnic areas are require reservations, but they allow you can drink alcohol on the permitted areas- great for gatherings!

It was completely awesome. It is such a nice part. I would recommend anybody go there for a picnic to go exercise. The grass is beautiful, even though its only February lots of parking. And a park booth that sells snacks starting I believe in me. There is also a swimming pool there that opens in May. Fabulous

We love it here! BEAUTIFUL big park with a walking/running trail that is great for strollers. They have a few different playground that are all great. They also have tennis courts, picnic tables, and baseball fields. Its super crowded on the weekends, but we love coming here during the week.

We had a fun time at this Park. After playing in a large playground we went East to a smaller playground then hiked East up the hill to find another park with is currently closed good some nice views of the airport and Bay for about a 2.5 mile hike. There are many trails intersecting so you could make some other loops.

Huge, clean, lots of areas to explore, poop bags, nice flat-ish trail, crows — the trees in the fall season are beautiful!Minus 1 star because I was hoping they would temporarily make the trail one way just because of covid since it’s kind of almost feels inappropriate to pass people in the 3-ft wide path. Kids, dogs, it’s chaos sometimes.

Great local San Bruno park. I like how they divide the playgrounds by age group. I have a 2 year old son and sometimes it’s tough watching him with the older kids so I just move him to the area more for his age.

I found myself here all the time with my 3 and 4 year old! They love it and I kind of so too. There are multiple play structures, decent bathrooms (that are being completely remodeled right now!) and tons of grassy area for the kids to roam and explore. The only annoying part is the ice cream truck that sits in the parking lot playing its creepy music on a loop.

Lovin this park always! In October & still sunny, mild wind. Ive been coming here since my 2 girls & grandson were born. Uncle happy grillin the carnitas. Lots of space to run around for all the kids. Clean park, except when owners dont pick up after their pets dudu! Bathroom was super clean. 3 rolls of paper in the ladies. The garbages are ready for recycle. Come early for parking! It was a blast seeing my family enjoy, especially the kids. Wonderful wkend everyone..

I grew up in San Bruno. As kids, we were always in the park. My only issues were with the kids not respecting use of space. Riding scooters very fast in the middle of the walking path. Also, one child with a drone scaring the dogs walking on the path. Isnt there a city ordinance prohibiting them.?

I have only come out to this city all the way from Walnut Creek because my bf lives out in the peninsula, no longer in San Bruno but in South City. Coming from someone that loves taking walks in the city, this is by far my favorite park in the bay area. Theyve got the playground for kids, they have two softball fields altogether, picnic tables on both sides (theres a street in the middle of it), and then they have a smaller grass field with another set of tables under a shed on the side. But the best part is the beautiful hiking trail afterwards where you can watch the planes land and take off at sfo. Whoever is in charge in making this park clean and recreational is doing a great job!

The SB City park is a great place to take your children. At the bottom of the park is two play areas; toddlers and tweens separated by concrete walkway. The bathroom facility is clean: bring your own soap and TP. Nice BBQ spots for reservation around the playground. A short walk westward, crossing the street, past the Gazebo, fields and sheltered eating areas at the top of the park, is an entrance to Yerba Buena park. Choose a trail and enjoy the sound of nature. The trails to the right will lead you to another playground. Awesome adventure for active children. Stay connected, enjoy building memories and most importantly play with your children at the park.

San Bruno Park is always COOL 😎 ! I walked around with my grandson and showed him where the Cherry trees were and the Wild Black Berries that will have the most berries this season 😁 ! I also let him play at one of the 2 playgrounds that the park has! Beautiful weather during the day ! But dont forget your COAT...for night time ! It could get a little CHILLY 💨

The City of San Bruno is about to destroy this park by building a hideously large recreation center way too big for this space! The park will be losing half of the open green space and picnic areas as well as most of the over 100 trees that help keep the air clean as we are surrounded by freeways, CalTrain and SFO pollution. that are supposed to be protected as they are heritage trees! This is California, we need more space to be outdoors not indoors and 2 swimming pools are ridiculous when we are dealing with water shortages for the past several years! With all these new apartment projects being approved by San Bruno, people will rely on parks for green space as they will not have backyards. Our horrible San Bruno leadership added double the square footage and $15M dollars under the “premise” of adding a community hall and conference rooms which they will basically be using as fancy new digs for themselves!!!!! Disgusting!!!! This was after getting approval from the community for a much different proposed plan. This area will not be able to handle the traffic and the surrounding homes can’t handle the runoff parking!!!! We need to vote the Mayor and his team of sell outs, out and get new leadership!!!!

Nice little place used to teach the little guys and some girls to play baseball there. Diamond 2and 3 for the young ones diamond 1 for I believe 14 and up. If its rainy season keep an eye on the little ones. Its the last above ground creek that i think we have. You will know it if you see it. Paved through the park and into the storm drainGood thing we dont get much rain! SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT THOUGHBE SAFE!

Walking out doors, no masks, no ones around...walking along a person solidly 30 feet from me, perpendicular to my path, with a mask on berates me without provocation...covid will not jump 30 feet, outdoors, through at least one person in a mask...Makes the experience less than fun...

I was absolutely upset to be pulled to the side by local Police for walking my dog on the opposite side of the street. I was told that because of yelp reviews and complaints, no dogs were allowed around the area. The officer was very polite and seemed to disagree with the idea but ultimately, I had to return my dog home.I think that it is extremely irrational to not allow residents of this area to walk their dogs. I can understand if there are irresponsible dog owners but you cant punish a whole community. I own a business in Downtown SF but chose to live in San Bruno to be able to give my dog and myself access to local parks and healthy outdoors.I hate to rant, but it is very difficult not too when you have to drive 5 miles to walk your dog instead of walking around your neighborhood.

The apex of, what a neighborhood park is supposed to look like and be. I slept on San Bruno. The downtown area does not reflect well the rest of this beautiful city that Im living in for the third time. SBCP could not be better situated. To me, San Bruno beats out Milbrae, Burlingame, So. City, and San Meteo, in regards to homes, livelihood, and its proximity to the 280, 101, Skyline Blvd., SFO, BART, and CalTrain. “And if you don’t know, now ya’ know.”
