I’ve been to San Isidro Mexican Restaurant a couple of times and have completely enjoyed enjoyed myself every visit. Their food is great! Adult beverages, nice atmosphere and a variety of tasty items to choose from on the menu.

The shrimp empanadas are the best, they’re really good and they give you a side of salsa verde and chipotle. I tried the chicken enchiladas and the portions are pretty good and the taste too.

All the food was good, not great... Although the young lady (the only server in the place) was hustling to take care of all the customers, the service was slow. Too many people for one person to attend.We will try again another time. If the service is better, I will change my feedback!

The food is overpriced, the coke bottle was $12. And also at check out check your receipt because if you use your card it will also charge you extra. I don’t know if this is due to new management but very ridiculous prices. Go elsewhere!

Food is a hit or miss depending on the dayThe reason Im leaving a review is to warn people do not order anything with cactus/nopales. They arent cleaned properly when I bit in to it a thorn got stuck between my teeth which was painful, I couldnt eat and had to rush home to extract. The service needs to improve aswell.

I was very unsatisfied. The waitress didn’t give good customer service. I ordered a kids meal and she automatically assumed I wanted an adult plate. When she brought me the plate, I questioned it and she brushed it off and rudely said I can cancel it. The food was ok but I will not return because of her. She has no business working with the public if she doesn’t like it. Very BAD service. I don’t understand why restaurants don’t let you order from the kids menu, sometimes we just don’t have a big appetite. She should of clarified that I couldn’t order from there especially because the menu didn’t indicate it.

My parents really enjoy coming here after Church in the morning. Theres no huge crowd and the food is Fresh and Delicious. Theres plenty of parking and seating with an outdoor patio area. They even had live music during my last visit.

I would give this place a ZERO star if I could. We ordered our food and the prices are clearly on the menu. Once we received our check it was way over priced and the prices did not match the menu. When we confronted the manager we were told that the prices on the menu are not prices but “codes” lol even the waitress informed us that they just recently changed the prices but not the menu prices. When we told the manager this we were told she is new and doesn’t know like come on seriously? This is false advertisement and they just think nobody is going to review the actual price is a joke. DO NOT COME HERE THEY CLEARLY TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE AND THATS NOT OKAY.

The waitress did not do a good job. She messed up all my orders and did not check up on our table at all...we waited an hour to receive the check. The food was over priced and not good at all plus the portions were small. Their salsa dip for the chips tasted like fish and not the good kind. Overall this place was way better back in the days, the food was amazing and the prices were fair sadly I am disappointed how it is now.

My husband and I like to try different restaurants. San Isidro gave us a Cabo San Lucas vibe. Alive with music and friendly staff. Our waitress, Delma, was attentive and sweet. I ordered a shrimp cocktail. Wow! It had tons of fresh, clean and perfectly cooked shrimp. I was struggling to finish the shrimp cocktail. Alot of shrimp!!! Like Delma said, todos nuestros platillos estan bien surtidos. She wasnt kidding. Just add your lime and favorite chile sauce in your cocktail. Ooh ya!! My husbands fish tacos were yummy. I also enjoyed their delicious Salsa and chips. Next time I am going to try one of their specialty drinks on the menu. The drinks looked so deliciously tropical.

I recently moved to the S. El Monte area and since I love seafood I decided to try this place. I am very picky of where I eat seafood, and I found San Isidro has fresh seafood at reasonable prices. They also have several TVS so I can watch my favorite sports while I enjoy my delicious meal with a cold cerveza. The waitress are friendly and very efficient at their job. I definitely recommend this place.

Nasty place, I took my mother there for Mother’s Day, BIG BIG DISAPPOINTMENT, their was a table next to us where we had to wait to be seated with leftover FOOD with flies all over it !!!! Service was horrible! They took way to long to bring our food they brought out one plate then 10min later brought out the other. Never brought out our ceviche at all. Never refilled my husbands drink. The music is way to loud. It appears they have some other type of business going on there and straight up neglecting customers it was an awful experience and I will never return.

We love to go out. Last night we arrived in this fine restaurant which friends told us about. We passed a beautiful experience there with great meal and a courteous team and an impressive chief cook. WAYYYYY toooo loud. you cant even have conversation with anyone because it is so damn loud. Definitely not my cup of tea, visited this place on sunday after i went to chepes mufflers shop on a friday to get a pipe work done, thought I’ll give it a try. Definitely would not be trying again, only good thing on the menu was probably the carne asada, the chicken fajitas was seriously drenched in grease it was horrible, not even kfc can beat that.

I have never in my life has seafood that was so bad! I paid $64 dollars for a half tray of agua chile and it was not properly marinated it was bland and slimy and who puts lettuce and tomatoes, oranges, mangos in agua chile. I feel so ripped off and we couldnt eat it because it was not marinated with enough lime juice and chile. I can only hope nobody get sick because it was still raw.

I had really high hopes for this restaurant. Im from Phoenix and we dont have a lot of Marisco places around me. I was really excited for this place in California. I tried a dozen oysters and the camarones aguachiles con callo de hacha. The Oysters were warm and they put ice on top. I love Oysters when they are cold and fresh. These tasted warm and a little old? The aguachiles were okay but again, they were super warm. I wish this plate was cold. The temperature of the food would turn this 2 star review to a 4 star. On a final note, the warm oysters gave me a stomach ache that afternoon. I would not recommend this spot just because of how warm their cold mariscos were.
