San Leandro Plaza in San Leandro

I always visit this place . During my last visit there were just few people not crowded, there was no games and parking was available. Maybe because it was a Monday and we were there at around 1pm to 4pm. We love to wait for the sun to set by the duck pond, because you will have the best view there. The plaza had just recently undergone some renovations and they really did a great job. Dog park became better, and it seemed that the park became wider and brighter. Definitely lots of parking spots and restrooms were clean and available in different places of the park. Usually, people bring their dogs here, ideal place to walk your dog at the same time you can also do your walking routine to keep fit. The one thing I like about this plaza is the basketball courts. They should build basketball courts, volleyball courts, baseball fields in the different Parks, to encourage the new generation to do more of physical activities to keep them healthy instead of purely video games. A little fresh air for the young ones will make a difference in their over all wellness . They will be healthier physically and their social skills will be develop thru these outdoor sports . They will be more sociable, thus their positive attitude towards dealing with others will be promoted. Our children will grow more to be a well rounded individuals. Lessen the exposure to violence and pornography as brought about by the video these modern technology. I am not against changes and modernization they also have some perks. However, going to the Parks and playing sports could bring balance and consequently we can see a brighter and peacefil future for todays generation who will one day be the leaders of our country.

Dense collection of restaurants and shops, with a little bit (or a lot) of everything you could need and want. Some of the restaurants are very good (e.g. Kanda), and you can find many different types of food and drink within easy walking distance. The only small complaint is that the parking sucks - its tightly packed, little room to maneuver, and some rude people holding up an entire line of cars while they wait for someone to pull out of a spot. We were stuck behind someone for more than 5 mins as they sat there holding an ever-growing line of cars up behind them. Next time, we will park a little ways away and just walk.

My neighbor turned me on to this spot! These people are so nice and friendly! They treat my little girl so good! We are here every 2 weeks now!

San leandro is letting go of its city just look around pay attention its bad and not getting any better at least clean the streets and the land scaping a pressure washer and a little trim would do wonders used to be a pretty clean city not all bad but heading that way be safe.

Loved Fieldworks brewery. Great beer choices with a staff that are so welcoming and helpful I only wish I lived closer too visit more often. Good food here also .

Very nice area for shopping and eating out. Atmosphere is clean and comfortable as well as inviting

Parking is a bit tough sometimes. So much great stuff here though!

The Plaza got a lot of store open and many available parking

Went to Subway, Safeway and McDonalds and all of them were good had everything we wanted...

Came here April 18 2023 to check out the new IHOP that just opened. I liked the savory pesto chicken crepes. My table mate enjoyed her Eggs Benedict. The servers were friendly and attentive, and the restaurant being new, is sparkling clean.We split lemon ricotta pancakes for the table that I would have liked better if they were served hotter.We found a 55 and Over and IHOPPY Hour sections of the menu that offered options at a less expensive price, so well be back!FYI many of the parking spaces are tight, so if you dont want to get dinged be selective where you leave your car.
