Although surprisingly it does LOOK good, the attention to detail isnt there. Dry rice and dry chicken, no flavor to cabbage. The inside was a bit dirty and dark. I dont think Ill come back, some more attention to detail could go a long way.

I know inflation has made the cost of ingredients and food has increased, but for November 2023, I still think $12.50 (tax incl) for a chicken bowl, rice and a side salad is higher than average. Maybe its the location; maybe its to make up for the lower volume of customers in this highly-competitive restaurant plaza.There are other customers who wouldnt mind paying for this tho. 👍

What an amazing find!Delicious food, friendly service, short wait and reasonable prices.I chose chicken and shrimp combo and was very happy with it. In fact, fell in love the way they cook chicken - soo flavorful! I do wish the shrimp had more flavor, but everything else was very very good.

DO NOT EAT HERE! Years ago they were great. This new management is clueless. I ate here in April and it was soooo bad, I demanded a refund. Now that Im back in town, gave it another go. Just awful sushi. The rice is undercooked or old, the sushi completely falls apart and has no taste. The old lady barely covered the sushi rice with fish so save your money and go elsewhere. What a shame. What a disaster!! Also the plate dish now comprises 50% of the meat they use to give. Owners like this are cheeky and think they can get away with this bs! Put this location out of its misery and stop going there. YOUVE BEEN WARNED!

The service was fast, the presentation of the food is good, and the price was ok. The taste is ok too (of course not the same as what youd expect from fancy jp restaurants) but you get what you paid for.

Food has always been great at this location. Can be crowded during peak lunchtime rush, but the staff gets your order in and food delivered pretty quickly. Not that much seating area, but about 12-15 people can get lucky. Speaking of the staff, the folks working the counter are incredibly nice and professional. For those in a super rush, consider calling in your order. Highly recommended!!

Great location, the staff is always super friendly. Its a bit small, but this is a strip mall where people usually come on their lunch break so its not an issue. Portions are filling, prices are good, and I like the food. Its not gourmet or anything, but for a chain restaurant everything Ive tried is really delicious.

My favorite eatery. I never get tired of their food. Tempura shrimp is delicious but, the Yakisoba noodle and chicken plate is my fave. It comes with a drink and 2 side salads. Try the Sumi salad, crunchy and flavorful.We usually call in our order but, it seems that even with call in orders you still wait and most times watch you order sit on a shelf as the walk in customers get their food first. So, its kind of a waste of time to call it in. Otherwise the food is good.

Paid for extra eel sauce. Even asked cashier when she handed me my bagged order. Got home. No sauce..... Dragon roll okay. Not great. Wont be going back. To many better places in downtown El Segundo. Now I know...

I love this place.. As a pilot, I am always looking forward to coming to the Los Angeles area. I even hit the one in the St. Louis area. I grew up in Hawaii, and this is still the best teriyaki sauce that I have ever had. For other pilots out there, you can take the shuttle from LAX to the Aloft or Fairfield Inn, and San Sai is right across Sepulveda Blvd. in a food court that has Greek, Chinese, Hawaiian, Subway, etc. There is also a location in the food court next to the BUR airport. Again, great food and reasonable prices.

San Sai Japanese grill offers an array of healthy fresh sushi and many other Japanese dishes such as miso soup and udon noodles.Take out is recommended due to the limited amount of seats inside.Overall the service was great, friendly and fast.

Most excellent! The rolls were incredible. Shrimp Tempura, Spicy Tempura Roll, Tempura Roll, Red Bull Roll, California Roll were all absolutely delicious. All of this for under $40, no less. Nice little gem tucked away in a strip mall on Sepulveda and Mariposa

Went in to order lunch for coworker, I went next door to place a order at China Express (Master Wok Chef must be at least 70+), my coworker did not want the green salad so I ordered the sum salad, they had bow tie pasta,,, after returning from ordering my food, saw salad..told them I couldnt take it like that because she was alergic to certain greens, the server said we cant take it back I said I cant take that to my coworker, she says she is alergic to it and she didnt order that. She responded by putting some pasta in a separate container, I asked if she would remove the greens, she became irratated and start cutting her eyes, then the cashier who took the order chimed in saying Its not her fault and its not our problem..I asked for a supervisor and expressed that a paying customer should not have to deal with such bad attitudes and customer service...the cashier continued chiming in, even after her presumably supervisor tapped her several times. Ugly young lady Tati...

In a 100 degree heat outside, the place uses outside air without air conditioning. Unbearably warm inside. Tge selection is notbtge same as at other franchisees. Lacking salads accustomed to at other places.Bring suntan lotion and dress in swimming gear.You might tnink you are in Pam Springs....
