The place were busy on Friday evening nonetheless the service and food were excellent. There’s a pleasant live music 🎶 until 8 PM which is wonderful. The food came out fairly fast. We ordered Insalata Mista and could tell that the salad were fresh. Followed by Bruschetta Tartufo vegan version (no prosciutto) and was replaced by sun dried tomatoes which goes really well with white truffle cream, Delicious!!!!And we have the Calabrese (spicy) pizza, it’s super yummy pesto garlic with ricotta cheese with a kick of spice cayenne!! What a wonderful blend! Would love to visit again.

Sausalito’s best kept secret….Their homemade lasagna is the best!!! My son loved it so much, he had to order his second!! Truffle caciotta pizza was so good too!!When you are in Sausalito, having a meal at San Drino is a must!!

Small, cozy restaurant with great contemporary jazz piping through the speakers while you wait for one of the freshest pizzas you’ll ever have! Loved the atmosphere, although it can get a little tight due to the small space. Ingredients were incredibly fresh and the owners were absolutely welcoming. Great customer service and great quality sun this place up! I would highly recommend.

Fantastic pizza. Some of the best pizza Ive had in a while. We had two pizzas a spicy garlic pizza and the classic Margherita. Both were absolutely fantastic. We got the caprese salad as well which I felt could have done with some balsamic and the gnocchi. The gnocchi was unlike any Ive had before but it was really great. The tiramisu was to die for but the chocolate cake wasnt as wonderful. Overall Id still wholeheartedly give the 5 stars. Fantastic service from Monica and her husband, absolutely lovely people!

Really good pizza. Nice prices for California too. We loved the Cesar salad and all of the fun pizza combos. It was cold outside and they kindly were able to find a place for 6 people to sit together indoors.

This is a hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle of the main street in Sausalito. They had one of the most delicious pizzas Ive tried. As a pleasant surprise, they had plenty of vegetarian options too. The owners of the place were also really nice.

We had the pleasure of eating at this quaint Italian restaurant while visiting Sausalito, California. Monica was a lovely hostess and is an amazing Chef! She treated us like family and even hugged us when we left. We.had the cucumber and tomato salad as well as the vegetable pizza with added green olives. Absolutely delicious. My husband had the Gelato, and I had the Timasu (best ever!)

Even with only one waitstaff tending to the whole crowd, the food was delicious. Also a great wine list, the owners are from the Alto Adige region in Italy and are very knowledgeable and passionate about their food and wine. Nice eatery in Sausalito with indoor and outdoor dining optios.

If you love big beautiful reds try the Supertuscan Promis Gaja. They have it by the glass and it is everything you want in a delicious red. Vermentino was also fresh and well balanced.Romantic indoor seating and plenty of outdoor tables. The fresh daily baked Focaccia bread with aged olive oil was amazing!!

Was up in the Bay area for a graduation at Stanford. Had some time to kill and wanted to see the Golden Gate Bridge. We missed our turn off for the parking area to view the bridge and ended up going across the bridge to Sausalito. We were hungry for Italian and the first place that came up on Yelp was this place. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent. Everything appeared to be prepared in house. Would definitely re visit.

I love this place!! The couple who owns this restaurant are so so sweet. I go here every time I bike to Sausalito. They remember my name and my order! I twisted my ankle on a run nearby and stopped by for lunch right after. Monica (the owner) gave my a ziplock bag filled with ice and genuinely cared that I got better! The pizza is so delicious, the owners are so caring, and they even have outdoor seating (the road is closed and there is a lot of space between tables!). I love Sandrino!! They even helped me find the nearest public restroom (which can be difficult during covid)

Overpriced to begin with. To add insult to injury, Extra %10 on the bill for employee health insurance. When I asked about it, the waiter said it’s a new Marin county thing as if I am a tourist here. I live in Marin and I happen to be at a breakfast joint the same day and didn’t see that on my breakfast bill unless it’s only for lunch and dinner 😉 no wonder the waiter didn’t wanna show me the bill at first and just quoted me the total and waiting for me to hand over my credit card so he can swipe on his portable card reader (POS machine), but I asked to see the actual paper bill !

Great place for Italian-style pizza. By which I mean: thin crust, smaller pizzas, very fresh tomatoes and cheese, crunchy crust at the edge but soggy in the middle. The recommended Buffalo mozzarella has a great flavor. The charcuterie plate (they call it Antipasto Italiano or something like that) is also a go-to for me.The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Theres a bit of seating inside, but theyve also expanded into lots of outdoor seating on the street. The kitchen is also on full display inside, which is nice for ambiance.

We stumbled upon this place, after choosing not to eat at a different restaurant a few doors down. And it was the best decision Ive ever made. Sandrino has a sign outside that says Pizza & Vino but it is so much more than that. The staff and patrons are warm and friendly. The wine list is impressive and the pizza is phenomenal. Be sure to save room for dessert! If you have any respect for either, you will leave very happy and looking forward to your next visit. The base of the pizza is one of the most delicious things Ive ever eaten.. but theres room for improvement in terms of the toppings :/ we had the Sausalito and Trentino pizzas, and they were just overfilled, too wet, and with too many different ingredients (that dont go well together) mixed together, so overall the pizza wasnt that good. The staff is lovely, price is fair, and the environment very nice. If I am back in Sausalito Id come back to see if they simplified the menu and pizzas, because their pizza base is REALLY great!

At first was turned off by the banner headline on menu. We dont do custom pizzas so we just got pepperoni. Wanted to add mushrooms. They have other rules printed on menu. This is the best pizza place in Marin! Owned and operated by a charming Northern Italian couple, they whip up the best pies on this side of the Golden Gate. My favorite is the classic Bufalina but you cant go wrong.Before covid, they used to be a darling 10-table restaurant on a side street in Sausalito. Now they are only doing to go, but I cant wait for them to re-open to enjoy wine with the warm pizza!

Great atmosphere, which sets the stage for a fantastic meal. There are only a few tables, so it feels cozy and more quiet. You can see your pizza being freshly prepared, and it tastes just like in Italy. The Tiramisu is enough to be shared and delicious. On the whole, it is on the pricey side, but worth it!

Randomly found this place on a trip to Muir Woods so so glad we did. It was absolutely incredible!!! One of the best restaurants we have been to. The waitress we had was so nice and helpful she suggested different things to try, she talked us into a dessert so happy she did. We had an amazing dinner here! We had pizza and salad. The food and wine were wonderful and the pizza with rosemary and potato was incredible! Also our waiter Craig was really a gem. He took such good care of us and worked hard to get us seated despite the fact that the place was closing soon and was absolutely full. He was also a charming and funny guy. Too beyond being a good waiter, hes a really nice human being As we talked about life experiences I learned he cares about people and does volunteer his time and energy in lots of good ways. Place is super highly recommended but I didn’t appreciate the slow service, although I’m used to that in Europe already so it didn’t throw me off as much. I ordered a classic Margherita pizza, but to my surprise it came with dried oregano rather than fresh basil as is typical of the pizza. It’s an unexpected surprise and a first time this has happened. My fault for not reading the description but I also feel the classic recipe should not be changed so drastically. Looks like the Bufalina pizza is closer to what I would have expected but without the buffalo cheese and cherry tomatoes. Would be nice to have that option. Crust was perfectly thin but edges were overcooked and crunchy rather than chewy.

This petite restaurant is operated by two truly dedicated Italian foodies who have brought their skills and love of food and wine to their simple Sausalito venue. Not your typical pizza place! The wines, Italian and domestic are carefully chosen to pair with the beautifully and creatively prepared pizza offerings. The salads are equally elegant and lovely to behold. We enjoyed a special spinach salad with roasted ham, crispy potato rounds and slices of hard boiled egg. Monika, one of the owners told us it was a favorite from her home region in Italy, the Dolomite mountain area of northeastern Italy. It was simply dressed to perfection with the finest olive oil and vinegar. We enjoyed her freshly made focaccia and breadsticks with fragrant olive oil as we waited for our pizza. The venue is mall, and from where I was sitting, I could see the pizza dough being expertly prepared with fine cornmeal that added the perfect crunch to the crust edges. We ordered the Parmigiana pizza with green and black olives added for an extra kick.The pizza choices are many, and all looked divine as we watched them arrive at other tables. We washed it all down with two glasses of her recommended Syrah red blend wine. It was to die for. Oh, yes, dessert! The homemade tiramisu was beyond divine; sweet moist and absolutely perfect with espresso. The service was genuinely warm and friendly too; a great pairing for the delicious fare. We were surprised!My mom and I hiked into Sausalito from a hostel in Marin Headlands. We stopped at a breakfast joint and then spent the day laying in the parks and walking around this tourist trap of a town. So we went just a single street up from the tourist area and found Sandrino!! Man it was so good. Normal (high-end Midwestern) prices for such good food.We got the Greco pizza and the spinach salad... and let me tell you about this salad. Im a pizza lover, I would have just as soon ordered us two pizzas as one and a salad, haha (though one pizza was enough for the two of us!) But my mom is a healthy lady so she ordered the spinach salad and I. Couldnt. Get. Enough. It was perfect. Spinach, fresh, candy-sweet cherry tomatoes, lighted salted fresh ricotta (not the gooey stuff you get out of a plastic jar from the grocery) and thick, real bacon. Like, it was so perfect.
