100% wow. The food looks and tastes amazing. The spot is good vibes!! The host and chef are fun and funny. Really delicious. The best sushi I’ve had in SoCal in a long time.

I came here to take myself out for a little treat and I throughly enjoyed it here! Michael and Christina (I hope Thats how I spell their names!) were so kind and helpful while I was dining here. I highly recommend the beef udon and the sashimi salad 🙂 Cheers!

Utterly disgusting behavior by kitchen staff, who will maliciously mess with your food and hide ingredients inside your food. Management do not seem to care about this at all - hopefully the health department will in their stead.

Good and fast sushi. Order from the menu behind the counter as you walk in. My crunch roll was too drenched in sauce. But it is ok, just dont dip in soy sauce. Nigiri is fresh.

We have been going here for years and like that we can get good Japanese food for a reasonable price. Note they dont have a sushi bar or all you can eat; its a sit-down or take-out place. It can get crowded in the evenings and seating is limited. If you dont want wasabi on your sushi, be sure to advise the cashier.

This place is great. I moved here from NYC and was looking around the area for just regular sushi. Everything around here was fried, Mayo covered sushi. I don’t scope out authentic Japanese sushi when I’m craving sushi but I just wanted sushi that wasn’t basically carnival food or gross. Many of the places in the area had questionable fish quality. This place checks all of the boxes. Cooked sushi if you want it, raw, innovative sushi, or just basic rolls. The price is also the best in the area. Always something on special. Lastly, I am extremely sensitive to fishy sushi. I’ll eat raw fish but not cooked fish because fishiness is the only flavor my palette can’t handle. Nothing here has ever seemed old or room temperature. The texture of the fish, the temperature, and the taste are all on point. The last place I ordered before here was twice as expensive and had a slime texture on every piece of fish. We only order here now. Great staff too. They can be long for takeout but it’s because they’re following guidelines and are overwhelmed, but not because they’re slow.

I love the sushi here! Good quailty for good price! My kids always get the chicken katsu or katsu bowl and never get tired of it! The curry is amazing and so is the salmon sango plate! This is the monthly special with fried fish! I really recommend this place!

Sushi are very simple and tasty.1 month ago we came here and I accidentally splited soy sauce on the table. One of cashiers just gave us napkins and did not do anything with it. After we moved to another table, he only started to clean.

Great place to get a snack or enjoy a dinner of beautiful sushi. The environment is so warm and welcoming because of the nice ambient lighting and the friendly workers greeting you as you walk in. My first experience dining here Morgan was my server. She was so delightful and had amazing customer service, always asking if I need anything but not to the point where it got uncomfortable. The overall experience was amazing!!

Love this place, been coming here for awhile. Good food. Only reason Im giving it 3 stars is because the prices on the website are different than the prices in the restaraunt. Came in expecting to spend less than $20(according to the website) and my order actually cost $25-30 even during happy hour. A bit misleading, update your website

I tried visiting this place for the first time yesterday after finding it on google. I arrived at 7:45 due to happy hour not starting until 7:30 and the restaurant advertised as closing at 9 on google. When I arrived I was informed that the restaurant actually closed at 8 (scribbled in sharpie on a small paper on the door) and the cashier told me they would be unable to take my to-go order. I explained that online it says 9 and the cashier told me that they are aware but have been unable to change it. Despite knowing this could cause confusion the cashier still told me he was unable to accommodate the 2 rolls I wanted. I asked when the order cutoff time was and he told me it was at 7:45. He checked the time and at this point it was 7:46 so he told me there was nothing he could do and had a poor attitude about it. Needless to say I decided to go down the street and try a different sushi place.

Whatever they tell you take out time is... Double it. Last several times I have gone it has been double. This time in addition my order sat another 30 minutes because the blonde cashier kicked everyone before checking if my order was ready. Rolls have too much cucumber and are just okay.

Sango sushi is a hidden gem. Majority of business is take out and rightfully so. The dining area is small. if you do decide to occupy one of the 2 person tables, you will need to place your order at the counter before sitting downGreat food and great prices

Good pricing for the good quality of the sushi. The inside looks much nicer since the remodeling. I wish they had better seating arrangements, but I know they can only do so much with the space they have.

It was pretty annoying when they told me I could not substitute the seaweed salad for the green salad in a combo when they are the same price on the menu. Judging (yes I do that) by their expressions they were just unhappy people and so werent looking to please anyone else or apparently seeking return business. So I wont return. The salmon skin roll was decent but the combo sesame chicken was unsatisfactory, including the rice. Steamed vegetables were served cold. This was just before they got busy. The sushi place near target just down the road is better.

I went on a quiet Wednesday night. Not many customers. It still took THIRTY MINUTES to get my to go order. When I got home there was NO SOY SAUCE with my order. They didnt offer to make it right. TOTAL JERKS.

Good value is what you get here. The quality of food is very consistent. The Bento box sets give you a lot of food for a good price. The quality of sushi and sashimi is quite good for the price.

Fast, cheap, and tasty Japanese food. Some of our favorite dishes are: Sushi combo, poke bowl, katsu bowl, udon, and all of their set bento boxes. Portion is always generous. The server are always friendly. You can get very full for under $10.

They redid the inside of the restaurant and it looks and feels much nicer and inviting. They have cheap sushi, bentos, udon. The quality is actually pretty good for the price that you pay.
