The owner Rick will teach you about all of the oils and vinegars, what they are made of, where they come from and what flavors pair well together. Every time I walk in there I walk out with a box or two of various goodies. They also sell flavored corn nuts, flavored sourdough breads & a ton of different flavor / styles of pasta....some are even gluten free! If you are visiting Niles this store is a must......even if you are not planning to visit Niles this store is worth experiencing.

2021-12-29 20:27:53This place literally changed by view on oil and balsamic vinegar FOREVER. NOTHING compares to the taste and quality found in this store. Additionally you can TASTE what your buying which is beyond genius because you cant come into this store without buying something. The corn nuts are so fresh (better than store bought) and the bread is outstanding! If you want to impress your guests and enhance your dinners buy them an item from here- I cannot stress how one of kind and exquisite the food items are here.

2019-12-15 22:50:52I come here for the BEST balsamic vinegar, olive oil, locally produced honey, and even pasta sauce in a jar! Its the only one that I have ever had that I love right out of the jar. Anyways, if you happen to stop by Niles, this wonderful shop is right next to the pizza shop. I HIGHLY recommend it!

2021-04-19 00:48:56Fabulous gem of a place. My wife and I picked up a ton of olive oil a few years back while we were in Europe and weve been super picky (snobby?) ever since on our olive oils. We have been searching through farmers markets and fancy shops in touristy areas and we generally just fine generic but high quality olive oils that you can find in a Whole Foods or other high end organic grocery store. Okay so thats all just an opening to let you know that this place is a tier above. Its a clear tier above. Its so clearly ahead of anything you can normally obtain that its not even comparable. The olive oils here are so fresh that it makes you start wondering how long all the other olive oils sit around in warehouses and shipping containers and store shelves before its on your table. This place will only import from countries during months when they are actively producing olive oil and this place rotates their stock in order to keep only fresh products in hand. So yeah, its better. As a side note, they have lots of flavored olive oils and vinaigrettes, pastas and biscotti. I have tried one bag of their mini biscotti and Ill be swinging by when Im nearby to get another bag. Theyre very high quality and are now a regular part of my morning coffee routine. So Ill be back here regularly even when were not low on oils.

2018-03-03 19:49:21If youre looking got really good olive oil and vinegars come here because unless youve not tried really good quality versions of both youre missing out. The owner is super knowledgeable and if you get the chance you should sample the premium balsamic.

2017-11-25 05:17:52Italian oilive at its best. The olive oil is fused with every flavor possible. The balsamic is to die for. Especially the aged balsamic. And the noodle varieties are out of this world. Try it youll like it.
