Really quaint little place out in Palm Desert. The food we tried was awesome. We came in late but we were welcomed & seated promptly. We ordered ramen and my son ordered the teriyaki chicken and rice bowl. We were all very impressed how quickly our food came out and how good it was. You could literally taste the care and quality of the restaurant. Would definitely come here again and recommend to anyone who likes good ramen.

This place is alright. Immediately smells like broth when you walk into the place, a little strong. Seems like there was one waiter for the entire restaurant when we came, but the service was still quick. Maybe even a little too quick, the soup ingredients might have been precooked and then mixed. But, it still tasted good. The only reason this wasnt four stars was because it just... wasnt good. Not bad either.

Restaurant is rather small and cramped. Also a small staff so you can often see them doing their own thing (eating or watching TV) which I know can be off putting to some. But aside from that, this is one of our favorite spots for an authentic (to the best of our knowledge) ramen experience.

A very small comfy place to get hot fresh warm ramen soup. The menu is an extensive or special by any means but the prices are better than some of the other soup places in the area. Ramen is generally a scarce thing to find in the area but these guys do offer it at a decent quality and are open great hours. There are no Bells there are no whistles you see what you get theyre friendly in there many was fairly simple.

This little ramen shop out in Palm Desert was quite the treat after a long day of driving and working. The Tonkotsu ramen was amazing and the broth was creamy and hearty much like you find in Japan. Thank you Paul for your wonderful service, we felt like we had been going there for years and thats not a level of service you get genuinely often.. If were ever in the area any time soon, we will sure be stopping by to try some more bowls!

For a noodle house in the Palm Springs area, not too shabby for starters. Comfort food with several options from rice to noodles and salad. Moderately priced with beer, wine and sake for the joyful soul. You can build your own noodle bowl with choice of ramen or udon, selection of meat including the Asian version of bacon...the pork belly in pinwheel fashion. Top off you bowl with mushrooms, sweet corn to Asian sides. Nice place to hang with friends and chat over home style cooked noodles. Three thumbs up for the young and noodle house seekers. Chopsticks skills not needed.

The Ramen here was delicious, as we went with the recommended Pork Belly Ramen Tonkotsu.The broth was super flavorful and the noodles cooked just right. Although I have to deduct one start for the Chashu, while it was very flavorful and love how it was grilled, it doesnt seem like it was cooked long and slow like Chashu typically should be cooked, as it wasnt fall-apart tender and was a bit more on the firm side, although it was still very tasty.Definitely recommend giving them a try!

A couple of friends had recommended here and they were totally right. We got the seafood ramen with udon noodles and the broth was delicious with just the right amount of seafood. You could not have asked for better service. Our server was exceptionally friendly and always there with anything we needed. Definitely will go back again!Sorry, Id eaten most of the edamame before I took the photo :)

I did not have much expectation since its an Asian restaurant in the desert. Still, it was even worse than I expected.By Asians standard the food quality is not very good. Chicken Katsu curry bowl is anything but tasty. The fried chicken stripes tasted very old and thin.Spicy Miso Ramen is too spicy. Without the spicy broth, you cannot taste any flavor of the roasted pork or egg. The pork is very dry and tasteless. The veggies in the bowl was cold too. Could not finish the food.And the wait is extremely long considered there were only two tables other than us.

Came all the way from Desert Hot Springs just to try this ramen, and it was totally worth it. The staff and environment were friendly as well as welcoming. I enjoyed the casual experience. A playlist of Coldplay, Queen, and 80s music kept the mood nice and light. The Ramen was flavorful, the potstickers were crispy and tasty--as was, the basil chicken appetizer. I was undecided between three types of ramen. I opted for the pork belly (spicy). I would definitely go back to try it again.

Id give 3.5 if I could. The noodles are okay, but the broth most likely comes from powder, judging from the general flavor potency of each of the 3 broths my family and I ordered. Also, the broth for each soup seems to be a mix of different ones, instead of your usual Shoyu/Tonkotsu/Shio broths. Still, its serviceable for fixing a craving, but if youve ever had even just decent ramen out towards the LA area, you should be able to pickup on the difference. Im still quite happy we finally have a ramen place in the desert and that once they get up on their feet proper theyll be able to start investing in better noodles and a proper bone broth. My suggestion would be to cut down on the extras (bamboo shoots, red ginger, etc) and simply give more noodles and soup.

Im not sure if this is a thing inside this place but it smelled like cigarette smoke inside. Is this how it always smells or did someone decide to smoke a few packets inside the kitchen that night? I wish i was exaggerating the smell but Ive been around smokers. I still gave them a chance because i felt embarrassed walking out as the only customers at the time. They only sell canned sodas but if you drink the delicious broth and that one soda it should fill you up. Just FYI the canned sodas are $2.50 each so drink wisely or get ice tea or water. Also, wasnt impressed by the noodles, it tasted like the instant noodle bags that cost a $1. The lady attended to us great but honestly wont go back. I give the Spicy Ramen broth a 8 tho! Delicious but not spicy enough for my taste. This was just my experience.

There’s not a lot of ramen places in the desert & this place is probably the best. I have to agree with others—service is a bit slow but it’s not too bad when you have good company. I’m not a fan of the appetizers they serve but I do enjoy their ramen! Definitely worth checking out.

Pretty nice! I customized my ramen to remove the noodles (I know, it’s for health/diet reasons) but the broth, veggies and eggs were very tasty. The meat was not good though (I didn’t eat it) but my husband had some pork and chicken and both were super dry and tough. But otherwise I would come back for the broth! Nice staff too.

Very poor quality ramen.We were 4, and all 4 main dishes were not that good. my seafood ramen did not taste fresh. The shrimps on there tasted horrible, the ones on the shrimp curry rice too (which did not tasted like curry rice in Japan). Altough the old woman who served us looked asian, she wasnt japanese at all (i heard her saying she was taiwanese to another customer) so I think thats why she did not understand some of our order. I wanted the Ramune and she served me iced tea. My friend wanted ramen with tonkatsu on it and the waitress understood tonkostu ramen but kept saying tonkastu which is not the same.Our drinks were served after we got our meals and we had to ask for it again. The plum sake was served in a champagne glass, did not understand why..The takoyaki were good tho.Overall review is that the place, which is cute, looks like an authentic japanese restaurant but it is definitely not. As I went several times in Japan, this restaurants food does not taste anything like authentic Japanese cuisine.

I cant believe Ive literally have seen this place grow, but Im so glad that theyre still open. No other ramen shop is as good as this place, it was so nice of seeing the owners after not going for some time. Even though my friends and I ordered so much food they were quick and as always tasted so good. Hopefully I could recommend more friends to go when the pandemic dies down. The ramen was head and shoulders above other places. Delicious, flavorful, and if you want spicy, you can get a good slow burn going here with some of these bowls. The staff was knowledgeable and pleasant and helpful. It was our first time here and I will definitely be back to try their cold noodle menu. All in all, this place is fantastic!

Sat down and then 2 people sat after us. They got served before we even had an opportunity to order. Didnt get our drink after 10 minutes passed and another server had asked us what we ordered to drink. Another 20 minutes passed and we asked a different server how long itll take to get our food. Friendly, yet understaffed. Two stars, one for the polite young man and another for the hard working buss girl working. They were the ONLY people working. The restaurant was pretty busy and there was no manager nor other staff present. Sadly the broth was of low quality and the noodles seemed to be of the pre-packaged variety. Bland quality broth and over cooked pork belly was underwhelming as well. I did not expect Little Tokyo top notch Ramen, I did however expect better than what I was served. Amazing Ramen- easily rivals the best Los Angeles has to offer. Broth is delicious and complex, bursting with flavor. My addiction is the spicy ramen with pork belly. Sure I might have a few tears from the spice of the broth, but I also have tears of joy after my meal. Highly recommended.

The place is small and quaint. As Im here there is about 6 young people and a large family. So, if youre looking for quiet and private, this absolutely might not be your place. Nice piano playing over the speakers, but a sitcom and Dragon Ball Z are playing on the TV. The ramen is delicious. Its a great place to go, fair prices. 5-10$ per person. I recommend it.

Easy to find and access location on Highway 111, near Portola Ave. Quiet and cozy location. The restaurant is very clean. The staff behind the bar was very helpful and quick to provide service. This place is an absolute gem! Hard to believe but this ramen joint is on par with the top ramen places in OC and San Diego. The broth is the shining star here. Immense care and passion is clearly put into the broth. The noodles are great, the ingredients taste fresh and portions are perfect. Ingredients to broth to noodle ratio. Great portions of whatever protein you get as well. Prices are excellent! I always get the spicey ramen with chicken instead of pork, and have also had their gyoza. The gyoza is great, fried crispy edges with a chewy consistency is a win. To top it all off, the service is wonderful. All staff members act as if it is their own business. They all seem to care. They are very friendly and engaged. Ive been coming here since they opened and its nice to see a year later theyre still doing consistently good ramen with consistently good service. I had one of the best ramen experience s while at Sapporo. You can expect super tasty noodles, with nice sized portions of meat. I ordered the porkbelly ramen and left extremely hooked. This restaurant is fairly inexpensive and the staff are super friendly. There is a nice low lighting ambience around you. The bar looks very approachable if you are into that too. Would have loved to review the tempura vegetable ramen we ordered as takeout. Except when it arrived they had forgotten to add the ramen and other toppings! Only five small pieces of tempura (greasy but tasty). When I called them back the employee remembered me inquiring about the vegetarian broth (the time before they served me the pork broth swearing that it was vegetarian. I was sick for over 24 hrs) and said they hadn’t even put my order in and had just charged me for an order of tempura. So I paid 9.00$ for a small mediocre portion of fried vegetables. Ramen is my favorite food and this valley has almost no options so I was willing to give this place a second shot, but I’ve learned my lesson.

Have visited twice so far. My last visit was even better than the first. I got the Shoyu Ramen (soy sauce) with chicken and added extra spice. It is comforting and satisfying. The only reason I give this place four out five stars is because its the closest youre gonna get to japanese style ramen in the valley. I had the tonkotsu ramen, which is supposed to be thick pork marrow broth, creamy and flavorful. I didnt quite hit the mark, but it was the best part of the bowl. Noodles were almost instant noodles wasnt my favorite. The roasted pork was dry and had no flavor. Overall I really wanted to love this place, Ive been to Japan and had some great tasty bowls of ramen and it didnt live up to my expectations. I hope they can invest in some better quality ingredients and better bone stalk broths. And maybe I can give this place another try. Wish them all the best! Also the venue was very nice and good service.

This used to be my go-to for ramen in the Coachella Valley, but its taken a steep dive. The last order I made, pork belly ramen, was worse than disappointing. The pork belly was spoiled and stunk to high heaven. I wonder how it even made it out of the kitchen. Very sad as this was a decent place up to recently. Well... it was good.Spicy Pork Ramen - Had a good broth. Spicy flavor but not too spicy. Kimchi was a nice acidic flavor but was cold. Maybe it is suppose to be(?). Pork tasted like boiled pork. Fish cake was weird. Never had before. Reminded me of imitation crab. Was about the size of a meat slice in lunchables. Bean sprouts were a nice fresh crunch along with fresh cabbage.Nothing bad. We ordered a Pork Tonkatsu teriyaki rice bowl for takeout (it was written on the receipt), but it turned out to be chicken Katsu. We called them about it and they said that they “ran out of pork”. So instead of telling us that they did not have anymore pork (which is unrealistic) they switched the meat without letting us know. Either that or they made a mistake and decided to come up with a half-baked excuse

Delicious ramen! I lived in Japan and have been searching for any ramen that will come close to the real thing and this is it. Both their Spicy miso and tan tan men broth taste like authentic Japanese ramen I had out there. Their noodles arent my favorite though, and I dont recommend the beef ramen.

Not so good, not bad.Taste ok.It seems to be run by a Taiwanese couple and the ramen is pretty average. The flavor is strong, and the noodles taste like kansui, perhaps because they are only half-cooked.I thought the fried chicken was delicious.Are the croquettes frozen? I wont repeat it.
