I tried rolls I normally wouldnt try. Dude, no lie. The Pokémon Sushi roll was so good, the BBQ Beef roll is very tasty (tastes like Bulgogi with less sauce). Both of those Id order often. Others were very good, like the Ceviche roll. It was just too hot 🔥 even without the Jalapeño on it, spicy Tuna is more than enough heat for me. I had 11 items in total because I had the All you can eat deal. TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!!!

Was looking for a sushi place that offered AYCE near one of our work sites. Used to go to another around the area that didnt have AYCE so we gave this place a shot since it did.Food was delicious! Some of the best I have had in a while AND actually the first AYCE experience for my supervisor. He even said that was some of, if not, the best he has had.Recommend the Red Dragon roll AND the Banana Crunch roll(sounds weird but it is delicious!). All the other rolls and their sushi is delicious. We ordered a lot.We will be coming back to this place whenever we are in the area.

Great sushi, and rice bowls as well. My calamari wasnt the best but thats more than ok due to the great tasting sushi rolls (raw/cooked) available. To top it off Sapporo sushi has fresh ginger which isnt always a given at some sushi locations believe me 😝🤓😍.

Ive been to a lot of sushi places in the past, and this spot is definitely one of the best. They have a huge selection of sushi, and the quality is top notch. The staff were friendly and very attentive. Do I recommend this place? Yassss!!! Also, if youre trying to go for the All-You-Can-Eat option, make sure to arrive at least 1 hour before closing.

Food was prepared decently. I ordered a cucumber salad and got a pickle salad. Service was horrible. As we were trying to decide what we wanted to order we felt pressured as 3/4 employees kept coming up every 2 minutes asking if we were ready. As soon as we got the food we never saw a server again. I wanted to order more but nobody came by to check on us and the only other time someone eventually came by was to drop off the check. Not even ask if we wanted anything else just snuck by and left it on the table. We were never rude or unpleasant by the least. The place was not busy. I wouldnt recommend and we will not be going back.

I have been coming to this place since it opened a few years ago. I never had an issue until last night. The service was horrendous! As soon as we were seated they told me my 1.5 year old could not share our food. I said that’s fine, my child doesn’t eat sushi anyway. We were a group of 4 adults and my child. Once we placed our order, the server asked if I was going to purchase a kids meal for my child. Again I said, “no, she doesn’t eat anything on this menu”. After a few minutes they brought back the order form with RED pen marks circling their policy and underlined specific words in their policy such as “don’t share food” and “any left overs will be charged”. I was horrified but honestly, I didn’t know if I should laugh at the pettiness or be angry with their passive aggressive attitude. Once our food arrived, I pulled out my baby’s milk cup and her little box of snacks. The server immediately walked over and said the manager sent her over to tell us that outside food is not allowed but since our food had already been served then they were going to allow us to stay. This was the last straw. It was so upsetting that we couldn’t even enjoy our food. First of all, if this is such a big issue why won’t the manager come tell us herself. It’s disturbing to know that we were being watched so closely that it took literally one minute after taking out my child’s snacks for them to send someone over. I’ve taken my child to many restaurants where I have her snacks and milk out and it has never been an issue anywhere else. What is their obsession with a 1 and a half year old? I dont understand the pettiness of that manager. Will never come back to this place and I will definitely tell everyone I know to avoid this place. Their customer service is disgusting to say the least.

Service was a bit slow but overall it was decent. Food was good but some of the rolls felt too drenched in sauce. All you can eat option has a lot of variety in rolls and appetizers, but they exclude some items from their menu such as curry and fried rice. Could of been better, but would still recommend if you want all you can eat sushi.

My husband got the all you can eat which was amazing. I got the teriyaki beef entre that came with miso soup, salad, sticky rice, California rolls, and the beef of course. It was probably some of the best beef teriyaki Ive had. We got food extremely fast and it was delicious. I had a great night out and they accommodated my two children as well.

Currently, I have only been to this establishment twice, but they have a huge menu, so take your time, ask some questions, and feel comfortable about your choice. The staff is very friendly, lively, and will to assist. The sushi is fresh and very flavorful. All you can eat is very inexpensive 21.99 for lunch, 27.99 for dinner and a luxury item all you can eat for anytime at 30.00. This includes basically every sushi item including the luxury selection.

So we ordered as we usually do at least twice a month and I was not too happy with my BBQ beef roll I got. The pieces were small and my whole roll took up about a 1/4 of the container. Usually it is over half the container. Very disappointing.

They said our food would be ready in 30 minutes. It wasnt. 1 hour later it was still not ready and I had to grab a passing employee because i had been standing there for 10 minutes without anyone so much as saying hi. One of the waitresses kept pulling her mask down to talk over the bar and they were doing nothing to enforce social distancing. I decided I had enough and just wanted a refund, they refused to give it to me while they slapped my order together. The tempura was soggy and the rolls were falling apart in addition to all this.

First time I came here, the employee asked me to not sit on their table outside and began to argue with me. A year later, I gave them another chance. Theyre spicy tuna roll was thrown together like a burrito. The tuna quality, not so fresh. I offered to pay for one of them and they actually charged me instead of giving me a refund. Just paid $12 for three bites. Keep the money, you guys need it more than I do. Not going to be coming here anymore. Going to Hana sushi as usual.

I got charged for a auto gratuity on a three item to go order. I told them it must be a mistake, and they told me I had to call the online company that we ordered it through. Or, that I probably indicated that I wanted to leave a tip when I ordered. Im not sure how it happened, but regardless, I asked nicely for a refund of that auto gratuity and they refused.

We placed an order last night for pick up. We were very disappointed with the quality of the food. The edamame was cold and undercooked. My daughter asked for no avocado on her roll and it came with avocado. The avocado on my granddaughters california roll was brown. The chicken on my grandsons order was dry and tough, nearly impossible to chew. The entire order was put together in a very sloppy manner, something leaked due to an unsealed lid and it made quite a mess. To top it off one of my granddaughters became violently ill last night with vomiting and severe stomach pain. At least half of us who ate from the order have experienced varying degrees of nausea and stomach issues. When my granddaughter called Sapporo today to express her concerns, whoever answered the phone seemed uninterested. The only thing the person answering the phone said that sometimes sushi doesnt agree with everyone. It was just a basic California roll, nothing fancy or exotic. Sadly, we wont be back.

Please, check the cameras.. your server was in the wrong, it was packed in there. So they kicked us out. Recommend going to the other location in Murrieta, its only 8 mins away.. same restaurant/menu. That young lady server was rude, had an attitude, and the manager didnt even come talk to us.. she just stood behind the server when they told us to leave. WARNING..... 4 of us whent to the Menifee location, all of got food poisoning, I unfortunately ended up having to got to urgent care and after doing test I tested positive with a bacterial infection. When the urgent Care called the health department and apparently this was the10th report in the last month. to top it all off the service was horrible, rude and could care less when I called the to let them know that we all had gotten sick, the manager was very rude and told us that we must of gotten sick somewhere else os I drove there and showed here proof of eating there on Sunday, she still believes were eat somewhere else.WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION!!

Horrible service wow, better off visiting the one in Murrieta or Temecula! Much more welcoming and attentive not to mention cheaper. Murrieta Sapporo won’t charge you an arm and leg for sliced jalapeños or sides like this place does. I have never encountered such an entitled bad mannered waitress before, she was completely rude to my parents, yelling at them for seating down instead of politely asking them to wait outside. Never eating here again. Luckily, the Murrieta location is only 5mins away and much better!

Well, Id like to say that this place deserves 4/5 stars, however as I sit in the restaurant waiting for my food, I realized that you need to allow yourself 2-3 hrs before you get to eat. The food, top tier, its amazing, but waiting for so long and receiving... less than stellar service makes it hard to recommend over competitors like Hana Sushi across the street.Sapporo sushi- your food is amazing, but Ive seen better service from the McDonalds off of Bradley and McCall.

Self proclaimed sushi & sashimi connoisseur here!This place is amazing overall for AYCE when considering price to quality of sashimi, quantity of fish to rice, and freshness of seafood. The seaweed salad is fresh & lightly sweetened compared to the pre-packed sweetened salad that most other restaurants use. Their eel sauce is less thick & a bit less sweet with a more pleasant flavor when compared to what most other places use. The sushi rice is seasoned well & rice portion is about the size of one to two knuckles worth of rice to about twice the portion of fish, which is perfect because the fish are cut to perfection, not too thick & served just below cool temperature so the fishs oils, flavor & texture can be enjoyed at its best. The raw oyster is beautifully shucked & presented with a moderately spicey ponzu derived sauce. Then for my personal test of a sushi chefs skill set & my personal icing on the cake I ordered their Salmon Skin Handroll. After picking up the hand roll and letting the oils that fried the skins drain out a few drops I was amazed at the quantity of smokey-charred salmon skin provided. The sumptuous crispy skin with the maximum char took me by surprise, because unlike most places which char the skin to a burned flavor, Sapporos chef maximized the char to a visual that was close to black without the flavor of being burned. There was salmon skin through the bottom of the handroll; each bite containing just the perfect amount of crispy & soft chewy skin with a delicate layer of actual salmon flesh to add to the overall flavor. The yamagobo was lightly pickled & lightly sweetened with a nice crunch. The nori was flexible & easy to chew. I literally was in heaven with one of the best & quite possibly the best salmon skin roll Ive eaten in my 42 years.Service was excellent with about 75% occupancy. There were three ladies whom were very pleasantly attentive with just the right amount of table follow-up service & clearing plates in a timely manner.Love this place! Wifey & daughter agree & well gladly make the 30 minute drive to make this our go to sushi restaurant.Highly recommend!

All you can eat is available.**Sapporo Sushi is open for take out and delivery.Ordered online (for delivery, you need to call in) and estimated time was pretty close to actual. Staff were quick and efficient. They wore masks, maintained good hand washing and distance. From overheard comments, they hadnt expected to be busy and so were grateful for the business.Sushi was fresh and cool. Tasted great. We go to this place often and were happy to continue to support them.

Used to be our favorite sushi bar. While I understand that COVID took a toll on businesses, they’ve raised their prices to absolutely astronomical prices. Special rolls are $15.99 $17.99 from previous prices of $8.99-$10.99. The rolls are not made like they used to be made and seem to be made half the size for double the price. Won’t ever go back. Disappointed.

The best sushi and best presentation of sushi in the IE. I have tried almost all of them. This is the place to be. New facilities so you can expect it to be fresh and clean. Great wait staff friendly and accommodating. They offer it all.What I didnt like: If you have any left over be prepared to pay $1.00 per piece. I dont think this is a good idea on their part. I understand they dont want to make food and toss it when it is all you can eat, but customers will not come back when you charge $1.00 per piece of rolls left. If you have a group of more than 4 avoid this restaurant at all costs. Save yourself frustration and having your group wait and wait and wait. There are two locations...Murrieta and Menifee. This is our go-to restaurant for Friday lunch dates and they never disappoint. Their lunch specials are a great deal and the sushi is always fresh and a nice portion size. Hands down...best sushi in Temecula Valley. Definitely try the Steelers roll!

So the first time I visit this establishment is for a friends birthday. He and his wife love this place. Fish was very fresh, no doubt. But at one point I ordered the Hawaiian roll, supposed to be sweet and spicy right? Wrong! O so very wrong! So I grab one piece of this amazing looking roll and bite into it. At first it was delicious, then out of nowhere the heat hit. It was so hot my face and head went bright red, I began to sweat and had trouble breathing. Every one at the table asked if I was ok? I obviously replied with “NO!” But they all got a kick out of watching me suffer, even their little baby was laughing at my misfortune. It hurt for the remainder of the meal and I was unable to enjoy any more of the entrees. If not for the fire in my mouth, I probably would have given much higher marks. Just disappointed I couldn’t enjoy more.

I come here for lunch weekly and ive been slowly trying all the items.I love how they dont pack their rolls with rice. Spicy tuna is my fav and the only inconsistency is how the fish could be really spicy one day or lack spice the next.The sashimi salads are the biggest Ive ever seen and they pack it with different types of meats and other toppings. If you dont eat that much, this could be split with another person. (Post pandemic) Sashimi salads have stayed the same price but we get less sashimi now.The mussels have always been delicious.Their ribs were my least favorite, they were chewy and flavor just wasnt there. Overrated and grossI guess I was spoiled with OC and LA sushi. I had 5 different rolls, miso soup, and edemame. The seaweed wrap in the sushi rolls were chewy, the rolls were room temp or cold (even the fried roll) except the lobster roll which still had old rubbery seaweed. A couple hours after eating I had symptoms of food poisoning and felt a little better by morning. Horrible food, horrible experience. I spent over $50 there for myself. Well never go back again!

This place has top of the line sushi. All you can eat dinner for 27.99 and the have happy hour from 3-5 for half priced rolls. Place is a little loud when its packed. The sushi chefs know what they are doing. Fish is very fresh tasting and the rolls arent packed with rice. Definitely will be back.

Shockingly his favorite dish had raw salmon...I myself was shocked seeing how much he enjoyed it, I loved everything we ordered!We had: Popcorn shrimp roll(delicious), Steeler(yummy), Pokemon(husbands favorite, great flavor), and Sweetie(subtle).A business we will gladly support especially in times like these, and at the moment they are giving a 15% discount for Take out orders.Take care guys..!

They were extremely busy when we went, and we also had a large party. However, they hardly checked on us, took so long just to get drinks and kept forgetting all drink orders. If youre doing AYCE they only give you one menu to right on which is ridiculous if you have a large party. They gave a incorrect roll to someone else and then blamed it on us, resulting in having someone not even eat until everyone was already done.

The food is good. But it is difficult to park. I need handicap and not enough spaces. The reason I give 3 stars, there is some restaurant nextto Sapporo that has a very long line of cars, I assume going through a drive through. These cars block entrance to park and make it difficult. When leaving, the same. The line winds so far, I could not get through to leave. I finally had some one give me a little space to get out but I could not see if it was safe. I experience that each time Ive gone ther . I will not go back for this reason

So happy this place is open again. I like this place alot. It is not my favorite sushi place but it is my Wifes favorite sushi restaurant. The Steeler roll and the Hard Rock roll are my two favorite. If you want spicy they have a habanero roll and a spicy rainbow roll. Both of which have plenty of flavor and spice. I only live a few miles from Sapporo so having a great sushi place close to home is great. The price is a little more than what I think is reasonable. $33 for all you can eat dinner, I feel $25 to $30 is about the average. I am willing to pay a couple extra bucks to help these restaurants get back on their feet. Looking forward to another night out soon!
