If u want a quick bite for Japenese food, its so much faster here at Plaza Bonita!!I ordered the Japanese Bento. There is so much food in it, and comes with 4 small slices of sushi and Gyoza, too! The vegetables were fresh! It was delicious and clean tasting!Hubby got the rock and roll and soda and my hunk of a hubby was truly full!What I liked is that i didnt have to wait long. The cooks were fast and efficient! I will be coming back for more more often!

In person order taking is highly disorganized. We were in front of the person at the cashier and after asking what we wanted to order and us telling him he turned around multiple times (facing away from us) and do something else without paying attention to us. After a few seconds of ignoring us, he turns back facing us asking again what we wanted to order. This going back and forward caused the order placement to be wrong and us having to wait extra time (we were in a hurry) for the issue to be corrected. What is annoying is that they blamed us for not placing the order correctly when in reality I did, and the issue was the order taker not paying attention to what we were saying. This is not the first time we have encountered issues with service here and for that reason we will look at eating somewhere else when in the area. There are a lot of other food options here without making the order placement more complicated than it is.

A friend of mine told me about this place, which is one of her favorites so I decided to try it and see if its as great as she says and I have to mention is good. I love asian food and I think this one is good but not as great. Prices are super reasonable, and portions are big. Service is good and quick, highly recommended.

Straight to the point ☝️. Cooks do not wear bear and hair nets. When I asked the cashier, he gave me an awkward eye saying no, they dont, first time someone asks me that so I dont understand why the health department allows this. I will no longer consume Sarky Japan.

Im from the east coast, where this chain is most popular. And Im so glad there is at least one location in San Diego. It is the best chicken teriyaki plates Ive ever had for less than $10. I go out of my way, about 28 miles, just to eat here, at this spot, in a mall food court. Willingly.

First time eating here and it was great! The bento bowl is the best and everything in it tastes great. The employees were friendly too which is always a plus.

My favorite place ever.... I could eat this for the rest of my life. Wish there was one closer to downtown though

I just love Sarkus chicken teriyaki so much. I can either order the chicken teriyaki with noodles instead or rice, or with just veggies (no rice, no noodles) and always pay extra for double chicken, its worth it. Or sometimes Im in the mood for the Bento box with noodles instead of rice because it comes with sushi which obviously already has rice, and also pay for the extra portion of chicken. Love this place.
