Its the desireable American food available in LA! Simple flavor that packs an impact. The way it should be made is the Manieshe herb bread taste delicious.

If you want a nice simple Middle Eastern breakfast with delicious bread spicy cheeses and herbs made fresh every morning dont pass this place up at all.Stop by immediately and enjoy a traditional beautifully made flatbread snack along with a great choice of beverages to start your day right.I love the traditional over-the-counter service with a person who is putting the bread in the ovens to bake fresh and fill the entire restaurant or bakery with an aroma that is appetizing.You can feed two people very easily for $20 and still have some to take home.I cant think them enough for the friendly service I inhaled my breakfast Ill be back!

The lady took my phone order and had my food ready in 10 mins or so and gave it to me while I waited in my car with my daughter. So sweet! A dozen lamajoun, 8 cheese, 4 meat & 1 potaoto boregs. Bummed there wasnt anymore potatoes but its cool. Her customer service made up for it. Thank you Sasoun bakery.

As soon as I walked into this place I knew I was going to love it. It smells amazing! You can see the products being prepared and everything on show looked fresh from boxes of cookies to mouthwatering meat pizzas. There was a big group of us so we got pretty much everything on the menu. The zaatar bread was a little overpowering for me but everything else was delicious. Great value place in Glendale.

Feeling full and fulfilled after a lovely lunch in this gem of a bakery in Glendale. I probably ate too much but everything that I bought was so good I could not out it down. For takeout food for our family of four we spent less than $25 including drinks and cookies, how good is that? We definitely recommend.

I have been to Sasoun Glendale several times always have a great lunch. The menu contains lots of traditional Armenian flavors and me and my family love it all. My mom and I love the potato beorek and my dad and brother are typical men with meat pizza addiction!!! If you are wanting a great food with great prices and friendly service choose Sasoun.

The best bakery Glendale has to offer. I have been eating the cheese boreg from here for the last few months and the quality is great every time, it is never too dry. The pastry is perfect and filled with enough cheese that makes it a good flavor but not too sickly. Love you guys!!!

MMMMM, the zaatar manaeesh is a brand new taste sensation for me! My work mom had told me about it and she knows everything when it comes to buying good food in Glendale! I bought a few pieces and it has been the staple of my lunch for the last few days. I liked it best with a soft cheese salad filling and it pimped up by boring soup one lunch! Really good quality bread that smells and tastes delicious. I got a few other bits too, which were great but the bread was my favourite.

I have visited a few new places in Glendale recently as I have been taking food packages to vulnerable friends. They asked me to stop off at Sasoun to pick up their favorite tahini bread so I picked up one for myself and I also got a lahmajune as it smelled delicious. I am not generally a fan of spices but the blend on this pizza like dough was perfect. A very cute little place indeed.

I love the food of Armenia so I was pleased to see this bakery when walking in Glendale with a friend. I had a nice chat with the manager and they talked me through the history of the bakery and how long they have been in LA for. I got a selection of items incising my favorite lamejun and some cheese borek. Both were delicious and my wife like them very much too. Very nice people and a pleasant experience all round.

Meat borek is the best one to order here! That was my order and it was much tastier than my friend’s cheese borek which was a little dry. They enjoyed the cheese but I like doge extra depth of flavor from the meat one. We got some walnut and date cookies to share too, which were incredible and nothing like I have tasted before. Fantastic service and good value if you are traveling on a budget.

Not too far from Griffith park so a great place for a cheap takeout for a picnic. The staff here are very welcoming and friendly and the counter is full of delightful breads and pastries. The maneishe bread is my favorite thing to eat from here with some hummus and olives. My husband loves the lamejun which is like a meat pizza and my kids enjoy the cheese or meat borek. You can’t go wrong with food from here.

I called Sasoun very last minute and asked them to cater for a team of photographers who were working nearby. Their catering was first class with lots of delicious food picked up within the hour. Meat borek of dreams here! I love all types of pastry but this could be my number one at the moment. Nice and flaky pastry that is not too thick that it makes you feel too full afterwards. My sister gets the cheese version as she does not eat meat and she is almost as addicted as me! I like to shop at places were you get good service and the staff are friendly, I honestly think it makes the food taste better. Top stars and I will be back again soon.

One of my favorite, if not the best bakery in Glendale. The wait staff and servers are fast and very attentive. There are sometimes lines but I don’t mind waiting when the food is this good. Armenian food is not packed full of lots of ingredients but instead uses simple flavors that match well together and make delicious food. The lahmajune I had to today was spot on, a great combination of ground lamb, herbs, and a fresh squeeze of lemon make these dough products a lot lighter than one would think. Seriously delicious.

If you are ever in the Glendale area you need to try this bakery. It makes a pizza like dough topped with meat and spices, it’s not spicy, spicy though. If you do like spice then they do a cheese beorek that will give your tastebuds a hit! I don’t often write reviews but I really want to be supporting businesses that I like and these guys have been great. I have been trying to stay home as much as possible but heading out to this place for a bit of lunch has added some normality to my week after being out of work sick. Try something different than your usual chain, it is worth it.

Sasoun was for lunch. Great service, nice and chatty while preparing my order. Would recommend the beef pocket ( boreg I think it is called). The other items looked good on the counter too and the smell coming from the oven was amazing so will be back again for another lunch next time I am not fussed about eating carbs. I couldnt belive how cheap the food is here for the quality of ingredients they seemingly use.

Wow. Such a great armenian bakery in glendale. I have heard of lahmajune but never taste it, well that was until today. The meat on the bread is perfectly seasoned. They keep fresh for a few days so I usually buy in bulk when driving home from work on a Friday and use over the weekend and for Monday’s lunch. The beorek was filled with fresh ingredients that offered something different than my usual sandwich for lunch. This place had a great community feel about it. Nice bakery in Glendale, CA. I have been eating the tahini cookies from here on a weekly basis since starting a new job in the area a few month ago. My waistline does not approve of my love of Sasoun but my tastebuds sure do! A little bit of what you love is good for you, I just need to work our the little part! So yummy. I love lahmajoun, I eat it often. I’ve had it in Yerevan, Paris, Montreal and LA. This Sasoun’s lahmajoun is one of the best I’ve ever had!! Certainly the best in LA!The other best I’ve had is at Arouch Lahmajoun in Montreal, Canada.The lady there Sveta was very nice and caring. This is my first negative review ever. I am truly amazed seeing all those positive reviews.Today I ordered one dozen of Lahmajune from this bakery. I requested two individual packages of six in each one. I n addition I ordered six Maneishe.My husband picked up the order and brought it home.The packages were very unprofessional. Just twelve lahmajunes thrown in a thin white bag, which was wet in the bottom. There were no wax paper squares in between. It was not appetizing, therefore I did not bother tasting it.The package of the maneishe was made in the same manner as lahmajune.In this case, I wanted to taste it, but... alas, it was so stale that I could not swallow and had to spit out!Later on I tasted the lahmajune and it was good. Therefore I dressed it with a squeeze of lemon juice, and enjoyed it with roasted eggplant and green salad.
