After trying many sushi restaurants in the area, we found Sato Sushi in Upland, and it has become our favorite Sushi restaurant! The fish is always fresh and tastes delicious! One of our favorites is the Tony Montana. The service is excellent and we are always welcomed like family.

Very fresh sushi and always friendly service. The sushi here taste good and they do all you can eat. They do have lunch special for all you can eat but its before 3pm. Dinner is a little pricey but worth every penny. I would recommend the cajun eel, albacore, tuna, and salmon. It will melt in your mouth.

AYCE 26.99. Good Sushi not all appetizers are on the AYCE menu. They need to cut off the rice in smaller portions under the sushi way too much rice. We pay for sushi not rice. Would you like Sushi with your rice.? Also to much imitation crab on some rolls. Other than that i would recommend tbis spot. Miso soup, sashimi salad, green muscles, aloha r, Cajun tuna r, samon lover r, baja r, rock and roll, they were all good rolls. Craw fish bake roll, where is the craw fish? It was mostly imitation crab. Employees were cool, felt like the chef was complaining about us in Japanese because we ordered a mountain of sushi. But who knows. 4 stars.

Sato Sushi is one of our favorite sushi spots in the Inland Empire. The food is always consistent, tasty and reasonable priced. The staff go above and beyond to make sure your experience is a pleasant one. I cannot recommend Sato Sushi enough. We typically order from them 2 to 3 times a month.
Criminally overpriced. After charging $20 per roll they have the nerve to charge for sauce. At least one sauce per roll. Come on!

The fish is fresh, and the sushi is excellent!! Compared to other sushi buffet restaurants, Sato Sushi doesnt give you a big chunk of rice. Instead, what they provide to their customers are just like what you eat in a nice Japanese restaurant.Their service may not be very responsive, but they will get what you want once after you get their attention.
The sushi at Sato is fresh and delicious and the atmosphere is really fun. The owner tries to make his way around to say hello which is always a nice touch. I like that they make birthdays fun too. We love the Three Amigos roll, Hello Tuna, and the Pathfinder but there are so many other rolls to chose from that are tasty.
Ive been there before 3 years ago and they were very rude to me and my fiance. They took well over 30 minutes to even take our order and when we decided to get up and leave they tried to make us pay for the drinks that we didnt even drink. We tried them again recently and their food was subpar at best. We ask for extra sauces and they were very stingy. They told us that we already had some and they didnt want to give us any more. The sushi rolls with in and tasteless in some cases and I dont think we will be going back ever again after that. Byers be warned!
Meh. Tasteless or fishy tasting fish. Nothing interesting on the menu. The mussels were the best. Go if you want to stuff yourself. Outstanding servers! But that doesnt make up for bland food.
The 2 people working on May 25 2020 were very rude to me while waiting for order. There is a sign to allow a certain amount of people inside and i was the only one in there with no other customers coming in. They kicked me out to wait outside for no reason at all. I was just waiting and on my phone. Ive never felt racism until now. . i will not be returning to this establishment.
Friendly, and fast service. I had the Albacore Delight and an albacore roll; both were delicious. The Albacore Delight was a little small, I expect the other specialty rolls are similar, but I will gladly trade trade in the huge rolls found at other places for better quality. Well done.
The service here was great. We walked in, were seated immediately and asked for beverages right after. We took advantage of the AYCE dinner. The food was made fresh, came to the table promptly and we were asked repeatedly for beverage refills and if everything was good. Better than good it was great.
Sato sushi...I tried it for the first time and i was not impressed by it. Its just a regular sushi place in my humble opinion. They offer the basic and classic sushi rolls. There was not a single roll that would catch my attention. The price is $26.99 for what they offer i think its a bit high and by the way it is all you can eat. I would not recommend this place if youre looking for a sushi place with sushi thats out of the ordinary or with nice presentation of the plate. Sushi its an art of preparing it.
Excellent food excellent prices. I already wrote a review on this on Yelp but Ill restate it here... You need to go here and try there all you can eat menu and you will not be disappointed. Make sure you get the desert the deep fried green tea ice cream. I think its one of the best ones Ive ever had. The Fusion Sushi is phenomenal. Excellent service excellent food excellent prices. I do not eat sushi however my husband loves it. We frequent this spot together and they have wonderful options for those that dont eat Sushi. Love their house salad with Ginger dressing! Very fresh.
I have gone to this place for years, every few months or so. I believe that the ownership has changed though. My most recent visit was entirely disappointing. What good is all you can eat (ayce) if you must wait? I was there with a group of 6. Our drinks were not properly attended, the cooks and waitstaff were slow and there seemed to be no recognition or appology for this fact. The food was still excellent though.
Usually our go to for sushi. Was in the neighborhood and decided to cruise by to place a order. Staff was not friendly at all. I asked for a paper menu, which I seen stacks of from the door. One of the workers told me to go outside and look online for the menu. S#&$ customer service. Will never return and will make sure my family dont either. Yes things are weird with this fake virus but how hard is it to hand someone just one paper menu off of a stack of 100 or so. Figure in times like this you would appreciate any sort of business and help as much as possible.
I went to Eat lunch Here and I was very dissatisfied with the portions, they charge very high prices for small amounts of food. I order a bento Box but the portions were so small that I had to order a sushi roll most of the rolls are average between 17.00 to 20.00.. The rice that comes with the Box is no more than a tablespoon The food does taste good It is just extremely over prices...Just 2 people & small amout of food cost $60.00!!!! Compared to all the other sushi places its almost double the price....
Came with a friend during lunch. We did the AYCE option. Good selection of rolls to choose from. Only missing 2 star because I felt the salmon was a little chewy and not the freshest Ive ever had but the service was great and we liked all the other rolls. Im not sure we would come back since there are alot of other places in the area who offer ayce that we have preferred but it was still enjoyable experience.
The owner was very drunk and had a bad mouthy problem. He was bad mouthing to his worker and also argued with his wife in front of customers. Never will I go there! I really thought I was going to relax and enjoy my Sushi...No, I didnt! Never again will i go there It was the most Rude service ever experienced!!

Looking at this place from the outside, you would never know what an amazing sushi experience awaits you on the inside. The food was spectacular and the service was exceptional. Our server was Connie, and let me tell you, she is the girl I will ask for every time. Sato sushi is my sushi place from now on.
Way too much rice, small slivers of fish. used to be a lot better, straight downhill as of late. the comparison of the picture on the menu compared to what you get is ridiculous! it seems the first round they make everything a bit bigger and better though. seems they forget a lot of items too, not sure it theyre just really dumb or maybe thats a tactic?

This was my second time going to this place. Good service and even better food. The All You Can Eat deal they have is worth the price. They have a good variety to choose from. A must try is the Magnolia Roll, as my wife described it...AAAHHH-MAZZZINGGG!!!
There has been at least 4 years since the last time I visited this place. One star is too much for the awful service I received. I ordered all you can eat. When I do that, I order salmon sushi and a lot of salmon egg (ikura). In the second round the toldmr and my friend they run out of ikura and we left the owner threw in the parking lot the tip that we leave. No coming back ever....
Awesome atmosphere!! The sushi cooks really are interpersonal with their customers which brings smiles to everyone. Food is great for the price and service is very fast even when they are busy.

1st time I visited Sato Sara/Tony and l found a gem of a restaurant. They offer the freshest sushi, tasty Tempura, hearty seafood Udon, and the friendliest staff.
Sato Sushi left much to be inspired. For the quality of the food, my family and I agreed that we were grossly overcharged. For lunch, we payed over one hundred dollars for two children and three adults (with tip). Ouch! For that kind of money, we should have gone to Teppan Grill. At least we would have felt like it was worth the price. At Sato Sushi, we were served really crummy crunch rolls in our bento boxes. How can you ruin such a standard sushi roll? Well, to start the shrimp in the crunch roll tasted previously refrigerated and the cuts on the sushi were sloppy and uneven. We also had to ask the waitress for Wasabi. The gyoza in the kids bento boxes tasted reheated, not freshly made. More importantly our sushi rolls off the a la carte menu lacked flavor. We will definitely not be going back. On a positive note, the waitress was attentive with the refills, hence the one star review.

We just finished eating at Sho Sushi and wish we hadnt. The service was awful! We waited an extremely long time to order our food and just as long to have it served to us. My husband ordered the all-you-can-eat and I ordered the shrimp and vegetable tempura meal. Even though I ordered my own meal, I began to notice the servers watching us. I dont eat meat, so I gave my husband the shrimp tempura, in return I ate about five pieces of the edamame he ordered with the ayce. Ok, yes I understand the ayce rules but I figured we swapped and it wouldnt be a big deal. But maybe it was to the unfriendly female server. She marched over with part of my husbands order, shoved it in his direction and said, No sharing with those who do not order the ayce. I said thats fine because I knew I wouldnt eat the sushi, as I dont eat meat. After that we just kept getting the death stare from her. Twice one server and her came over and tried to tell me husband that he was done eating. What is ayce, if cant eat all you want? We felt really uncomfortable and left before he got the rest of his first round of food. The female server didnt ask me how the food was or say anything to me as I was leaving. I paid and walked out. Wish I hadnt left a tip. She is the Asian version of the Soup Nazi. Dont waste your time going here.

We went in not knowing that it had changed ownership,and what a disapointment.we want to take out our sushi.when we got home,we discovered that the order was total screwed up.ordered salmon and got tuna, i hate tuna.the pieces were so small i thought about giving it to the dogs.i paid 70 bucks so we ate it.we been to a lot of places to eat sushi and the quality sucked.

2023-10-22 05:25:40The owner/manager of this place is one of the rudest restaurant managers I’ve ever met. The restaurant got our order mixed up with someone else’s order, mistakes happen. But when we went back to insist our order was mixed up, and even showed the receipt for proof, the manager kept telling us there weren’t any wrong orders, then began to yell at both me and my friends in front of other customers for no reason. We kindly asked for them to make the correct order and he was still hostile. Horrible customer service, will not be recommending this place to anyone.

And to top it off as I was leaving I decided to stop next-store to get a vape and a worker of the Suchi place was drunk outside yelling & fighting with customers! Never coming back here.

Only complaint was I confirmed an allergy with the waitress and she blew it off wasting several rolls by not telling the sushi chefs who obviously didnt read the notes on the paper. From the moment I sent the rolls back she gave attitude and neglected our table for the rest of the night which drew out the evening twice as long as it needed to be. After the waitress changed everything was great but I reflected the lack of service I received in the tip.

They give you big portions and the price is fair. We ordered the bento box with California roll and teriyaki salmon it was more than enough, I was only able to eat half.

They do a really nsat birthday celebration as well. The service is impeccable!! Truly a great sushi spot, especially if you are an All You Can Eat lover!
