I love satoshi sushi. Have I ever been inside? No. Have I ever spoken to an employee? Also no. But every time I get it delivered it’s marvelous. The quality, the craftsmanship, the presentation, the price?!? I’ve had a lot of sushi around HB and I would put this up against any of it. Whoever runs this place should be proud.

First off, if you are in Orange County and eating sushi anywhere other than Satoshi Sushi… you are eating at the wrong place! Really though, their quality and taste are 10/10. The restaurant is very nice and clean. To top it all off, the entire team/staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. My wife and I highly recommend Satoshi Sushi!

Wow! HUGE menu with anything you could ever want! So many varieties, all beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious! Our table ordered many of the rolls and appetizers and we werent disappointed in a single one!! If you arent sure about sushi, or if you want to introduce someone to have an EXCELLENT first experience, this is the place for you!! I cant wait to go back!

The sushi here is actually really delicious. We got three rolls, and theyre all on point! The quality of the fish is superb, the premium rolls we got were about $15 a pop but so worth. Their menu is extensive and lots of good appetizers. The only minor inconvenience was that the wait was pretty long on a Sunday night (about 40 minutes). Service seems to lag but idk if its because of a workers shortage.

Party of 3 went to dinner. kinda busy (which is a good sign, ya) we sat outside. a table right by front door. it was cool. had delicious meals. Huntington Beach sushi 👍!shrimp tempura assort. 👍 !sashimi assort. 👍 !and a lg. Sapporo 🍺wonderful customer service! cant wait to go back !

This has been my neighborhood go to since I moved to HB. They had been pretty consistent, but tonight was quite different.The albacore was inedible, having what I can only describe as an abundance of silverskin like tendon all throughout. Some of the salmon has some odd black stuff on it. The piece of avocado in my handroll was brown and black and quite dry. Had to pull it out and toss it. And the scallop was pretty dang small.This was a pretty poor showing for AYCE, much less a place costing me over $100. Time to find a new go to.UpdateThe restaurant has reached out to me directly to make things right. It is rare indeed to find this level of service and commitment to the customer in this day and age. I will be giving them another shot and feel confident that this was an exception and not the standard.

When I have a craving for sea urchins, this sushi restaurant is the first that comes to mind. Their sea urchin is always fresh and buttery. Its fantastic.Ive tried most of their sushi rolls, and theyre pretty good.

Low quality of fish, especially the Hamachi. Sashimi was falling apart. If something is not edible don’t sell it please. Plus I didn’t receive the ponzu sauce. Thanks

I’m an Uber eats driver and I’ve delivered from this place about ten times. The place is chronically slow and every time I go there are about 5 other drivers also waiting to pick up food. The staff tends to be visibly annoyed at our presence which is understandable because the sheer number waiting outside takes away from the atmosphere of the place. I don’t know if the kitchen is too small, they’re understaffed, or they just don’t use the apps well but it’s always an issue. Can’t speak to the quality of the food but the service for drivers is terrible and in a system where the speed of the delivery determines how much you can make during the dinner period this costs drivers money and patience. I don’t intend to deliver for the restaurant again.

I’ve never had so much rice with my sushi. This Ikura was literally a ball of rice with one layer of eggs on top to hide it, it should be mostly egg. The other sushi was very thin cuts wrapped around lots of rice.

Salmon sushi on point. Tempura coating doesnt get soggy. But I dont love the dipping sauce. Its different than any Ive had at other places. My whole life tempura dipping sauce has been the same EXCEPT this place. Anyone know what it is??

They have outdoor seating only. Service is very good! A nice variety of sushi rolls and sashimi. And the PREMIUM RICE they use makes a huge difference in taste and texture!I think theyre fairly new to Fountain Valley. Give them a try, you wont be disappointed.

Seaweed salad tasted like trash, could not even eat it. All the sushis lacked flavor and came unrolled. And everything was so so flavorless as if they soaked fish in water for like 3 days. Octupus was chewy and hard, salmon with avocado did not have avocado in all of the pieces - did they packed other customers leftovers for me?? there were literally no flavor difference between sushis. It was so bad that I had to make another order from different place just to have dinner. To call this food would be an audacity. I am very angry I spent almost $100 on this food and it was just horrible.

Fresh sushi, friendly staff. I had yellowtail sashimi, good on ya roll, miso soup. I will always get the Good on ya roll at Satoshi.My husband got the CA roll, tuna avocado roll, salmon roll, and salmon skin roll.I dont usually eat sushi that has rice in it because it makes me full quickly, but I really like the texture and the taste of the salmon skin roll.

I wish I could tell you that this place is awesome but unfortunately this didn’t happen for me. It’s not for trying.First visit, online order, took the payment and lost the order. It was a mess.Second visit, they told me 45 mins, I arrive at 45 mins, and an hour later I got my to go order.Then the last time I will ever go there, I phoned in an order, today, Valentines Day. 45 mins I arrive,, can you guess what happened? No record of the order.I give up! Good luck to you if you think you have better odds.

Great little spot. Staff is attentive and fast. Wide range of sushi roll options. We had the Hell Yea and the Sweet Hot Tail. The Yuzu sauce on the Sweet Hot Tail was bomb! Plus they have shishito peppers...Yum! Prices were fair/standard- about $12-$15 for their rolls. Definitely will be returning!

We went on Jan 1 and they were near closing, but the entire staff was friendly and welcoming. As far as sushi is concerned, they have all the standards plus some unique rolls and carpaccio options. Everything was prepared well and tasted excellent. Will definitely go back.

Placed my order on UberEats, unfortunately they were having technical issues at the time. Luckily my order went through, but they were unable to find a driver due to the issues. An employee that just got off shift called and said she was going to deliver the order herself. The sushi was of great quality and that kind of customer service is extremely rare. Ive had two so-so experiences here now. They served their rice on tiny flat plates shaped as if they were offerings to the dead. Two of the three hot teas were served at room temperature and the cups smelled like detergent. The food was okay at best. I dont Ill return here again.

So my wife and I have eaten sushi all over the world from Singapore to San Francisco to Zurich Switzerland for example and one thing will never do will never walk into a sushi restaurant that smells or has a distinctive cook smell coming out of it with that said we had to eat outside the food was okay I consider myself a connoisseur of the spicy tuna hand roll and this was well below what I would consider even average other than that it was fresh and it was just okay

Definitely not Japanese owned. Which is fine, if the food and service is good. Not so much this place. The chairs were dirty, I needed to swipe it off with my hand. There was a chair blocking our seats that we couldn’t pull out our chairs without moving the chair. They served rice on a small plate and not a rice bowl (which is offense to Japanese people, because in Japan, they give offerings of food / rice in small plates to the dead and leave it on their shrines.) A sushi restaurant doing this makes you question if they know anything about sushi or Japanese food and culture. The hot green tea tasted like detergent. I’m not sure how you can mess up tea, but i guess it’s possible. We needed to ask for the tea twice, since they seemed to have forgot about it. When the tea came, two of the teas were lukewarm and one was piping hot. We ordered Sashimi, which wasn’t bad. I just wondered why the sushi chef would forget to add the ginger and wasabi. Btw the sashimi was $69 just saying. Overall, it was funny how bad the experience was. Definitely won’t be back. 2 stars cuz the sashimi wasn’t bad.

Submitted an online order that said it would be ready by 7:59pm. It wasnt ready until 8:30 pm. I asked if they just ignored their online orders until they took care of the people that walked in AFTER the order was supposed to be ready. And I told them to hurry. The female working the register (long black hair) had such great customer service that she told me to shut up. I lost it when she said that. I said some ugly things, but who the hell tells a customer to shut up because the customer has called them out for TERRIBLE service??? I will NEVER go back.
