Its the second time Ive been there and the place is very disorganized, at the entrance it says to wait to be seated, but no one comes, I walked close to bar and looked to see if someone would sit me down, everyone ignored me 😂 after 5 minutes The waitress came, she told me if I could wait 15 more minutes, I told her ok, 20 minutes passed and no one approached me 😂 they left me in a forgotten room 😂 terrible service

The Sashimi deluxe special containes Toro and bluefin tuna along with other types of fish that are of the highest quality that I have tasted here in California. The intense flavor of both their Sashimi and sushi stays with you even after leaving the restaurant.

Tried to eat here 3 times now, first two times was told we didn’t have a reservation so they could not seat us, party of 2, and tons of tables open. Thennnn just saw this sign yesterday…. And I can’t imagine their sushi being that amazing and it’s never been packed full of people

I am very sort to say this place has really gone bad. The service is horrible . We have ordered here for years and picked up. Today I called to place an order and some man hung up as I was asking if they still served buffalo wings . Which they used to . I called back several times and it was so bizarre ! What is going one with this place .

Just took my wife there for a date and it was fantastic! We sat at the bar and had a ton of super fresh sushi 🍣 and some great Saki.We had a few rolls that had lemon something and jalapeño, they were amazing.We also had a jalapeño Yellowtail sashimi dish that was great!I’d recommend that you call in advance and reserve a table as it does seem to get busy.Looking forward to coming back soon!

I absolutely love Satsuma! It’s always predictably good! They are always so nice and can basically make you custom rolls if requested! I’d give it four stars because sometimes the service is slow, but I wrote this review, based on the FOOD itself! I wish they were open during lunchtime like they used to be though. Although if they were I’d be eating it way too much lol

This is where I ate Sushi for the first time about 30 or so years ago. It was a no fail place to eat sushi and I took every person from near and far there to enjoy the experience. However, went last night to the new location, which is cool and the sushi chefs are kind and attentive, but wow, the food did not live up to the cool new location, nor the kind and attentive chefs. My sushi choices were full of chewy fish gut lining that I had to spit out, a lot. I could go on, but I wont. Sorry to say my experience was not good. Hope to see better cuts of fish in the future.

The calamari is superior to any Ive had! They have set me up for a lifetime of disappointment for any other restaurant. TRY THE CALAMARI!!! Service is courteous and well worth your patience. We had the all you can eat. Thick cuts of fish over good rice. The rolls were fantastic. Service was slow and could have been better but it was busy and only the one server was working. Cool decor and ambiance is both modern and 80s retro at the same time.

Ive been eating here for years and its honestly my only sushi spot, everywhere else is crap in comparison. You honestly havent had the best sushi until youve eaten here and this is from a girl whose had 5 star in San Fran. The peppered salmon, rainbow roll and calamari are to die for. Even their salads are drool worthy. Worth every penny in freshness and taste. No joke.

I got the Chirashi and fry calamari, the fish was so poorly cut, and everything tasted the same, bland, flavorless and the calamari no taste whatsoever. Nothing more disappointing that paying for food that provides not satisfying moments. Another Rancho Cucamonga restaurant failure. Did Rancho Cucamonga inherit all bad cook and chef. The food in this town goes from bad to worst. Thank god for Guidos pizza is the only thing i ever had in this town that is worth repeating.

First time going to this place just today; Wasnt going for the atmosphere but I got to sit and watch an NBA playoff game while I ate, and that was fine. The food itself is pretty good, although they get pretty busy for the size of the staff - so you occasionally wait a bit for your next order. Overall Im satisfied, and would likely eat there again.

My favorite sushi place in Rancho, i love the sea food salad, spicy tuna, calamaris, sancho, everything is really good. The place is clean and the guys at the bar are really friendly. If you dont mind to wait specially on the weekends at night time, its the best place to go.

This is always our go to sushi place, the Sancho roll is one of our favorites. We have tried fancy expensive sushi places, and we always compared to this, hands down better than the expensive places. I think their prices are reasonable, they also have a different kind of edamame you could select that has more seasonings on them (I dont remember the name) I recommend trying this place.

Our first date ever, in 2007, was at Satsuma. August will be our 11th anniversary. To say we are happy this small business has survived is quite the understatement. We have been treated as family since day one. We love it here, the kids love it here, and we will always come here as a first choice. We wish the best of luck to Koji to continue to find joy in serving the best sushi around. It has made the difference to our family and I hope you will enjoy it as well. Five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Walked into the restaurant and noticed odd smell that was a mix between cleaning products and rotting fish. Was not greeted nor seated, we stood confused looking around while the waitress and chef stared at us and continued to do what they were doing. There were two other groups in the restaurant already eating. We decided to seat ourselves since no one had helped us, we were sitting for ten minutes without service. I went to the restroom which was absolutely filthy and to top it off there was an onion just sitting in the sink. I returned to the table and I was told we still had not received service, so we decided to leave. As we stood up and walked to the door the waitress made her way to us still not saying anything as we walked passed her. After seeing the restroom and smelling the smell, the dark atmosphere made me wary of what is hidden beneath the dark lighting.

This place is... interesting, the food is good, it looks and feels clean, only problem is its extremely understaffed and its exclusive too reservation and is only open for 4 hours so for the 2 hours I was hear I was able to order once and served but afterwards it was almost a Hassel or bother to ask for service because they are so preoccupied with other guestTldr : good food / nice people / slow service

This place is really tasty and they have amazing food, but the service is so terrible. They have one or two waitresses working at a time. A normal dinner can take from 2 to 3 hours because youre always waiting for your food. The 50/50 is my favorite.

My go to sushi spot in the IE. Ive been coming here since I was a kid. The quality is good and they have a great AYCE for lunch, not many rolls to choose from but the nigiri is the best you can get for an AYCE.
